If insects are biting. Do not scratch Just use little bits of Vapourizing colds rub. It takes the itch out of it. Works wonders.

Took my sons tent camping at ages 7 months and 2 years old. Have to say you guys did much better with Everly than I did with my boys. Great parenting! Love your videos, keep up the wonderful work. God bless you. Keep your marriage HAPPY!!

You experience brought back memories of my first camping experience when my son had just started walking. It rained all night. I packed our stuff in PAPER BAGS. Our borrowed tent leaked. Everything was soaked. We camped with experienced campers who had a boat. Our son toddled around in his onesie flannel pajamas and had a blast. My husband and I were on each other’s last nerve because he was embarrassed at our ineptitude and took it out on me. You two have great attitudes.
Omg that sounds like a crazy camping experience. Sorry it got to that point of being embarrassed 😳 but I'll say when you are with real friends, you never have to be embarrassed cause they don't care about leaking tents or anything along those line. They just want you to be around for the adventure.

Everly really liked camping - climbing all over the tent and you guys with both of you in close proximity. You stayed upbeat through the whole rain tent error. Fun video.

camping is awesome, but with a baby is harder of course, the main thing about camping is that you learn to adapt and overcome, don't quite you just have to get the system down, once you find a system, everything goes smooth, love the video

My goodness I can't believe it's been so long since my last comment. As a family you really brighten up a rainy day and by the looks of things you've had your fair share of those. brilliant film of a happy contented Everly, she's just gorgeous and of course the handsome, cute Mr Paco. As a child our family went camping and we always chose the week of rain and everything was wet and it put me off of tent camping. I much prefer our caravan now and I get to do all the towing. I've been melting just watching the joy on her face. It is so expressive and shows the love you all share. I know babies are cute. Like puppies and kittens. But her face is so precious I (almost) can't wait to see her grow up. Y'all absolutely make my day. Thank you so much for that.

We tent camped a lot staring out. We had 3 large Tupperware’s. One Tupperware was labeled kitchen, one house and one bedding. All 3 + a bag of clothes was camping. We had no little Everly so your results may vary. It was quite organized.
This is so smart! We're not used to this since in the van we always have everything but for regular tent campers it's key to have those bins to keep it easy and always have what you need. We'll be more prepared next time!

@@FnAVanLife my daughter started camping at 3 weeks old we tent camped so I totally get it even though it was 46 yrs ago 😉 and my son was 3-1/2 🤦♀️ but though are the best memories ❤️❤️ and if it’s raining it’s a whole different experience than tenting when it’s nice. Enjoy!
The weather definitely lies a lot. Well the hour by hour part. It will say one thing when u check it in the morning then different in the afternoon when it comes to rain anyway

Most campgrounds sale things to help with camping including canopies. If I were u guys I would have just went n bought something.
I wonder! When we looked in the store at the camp ground we only saw wood and snacks and small things like lighters and bug spray not bigger gear. Maybe we missed it!
Always love your videos .. Just a suggestion .. back the truck up to the Tent and add the net between the truck and the tent ..... may have worked .. I know when things don't happen the way expected it can be hard to find solutions in the moment ... Take care

Speaking of the bugs since I've been in Canada traveling in my forerunner there are days I really don't want to get out because the bugs are just too much and it's starting to get super annoying so I feel you there. Especially those dang buffalo gnats OMG 😳
oh man!!! There are definitely some spots where you need a full bug suit to survive. Sometimes you drive 30 minutes though, and all the bugs are gone. Canada is weird like that lol

We know of them, but we don't know them. I'm pretty sure we live fairly close to one another in the province of Ontario, but I can't be sure. We also have a few mutual friends. Yeah, they are a few months apart. A play date would probably be a blast.

The seven in Utah it was very hot. Also, I think one day actual temperature was 108 Fahrenheit but as you know in the desert, if you find shade, it was not bad at all so funny seeing you guys tent camping so sorry to hear about the Toyota motor, hopefully something real simple. Not like my problem that there is no answer.
Shade is a life saver! It's amazing the temperature difference out of the sun. Sorry to hear you're having engine issues too. That's the hard part of life on the road, always something.... fingers crossed for you!

I’m from fl too seeing over 100 in the summer is normal most days especially right before it rains., trucker Veronica here they been having us in Texas most of the month in July and boy oh boy it’s been way way way over the hundreds like 107 to 113 midday. This is from Dallas to the border south of San Antonio. It was 110 when we was gonna take a shower but waited till 10pm it was still 80. Dry heat is different than that humidity heat. The weekend after 4th of July our air conditioner went out in our house it got 95 degrees inside the main part of the house had to wait till Monday to get fixed, thank god we had a window unit in bedroom it was sweating so bad but kept it around 70 we had set 65. We have the house set 72 though. What do Canadians usually keep their air conditioners on temp wise??
totally! Frankie lived in Florida for like 10 years so knows all about the hot summer heat. Heck sometimes it's that hot in the winter!! Sounds like you've been basking in the sun all summer no matter where you are. Harder to find a heatwave this far north! But I totally agree, somehow dry heat is easier to handle. glad you got everything fixed and was able to stay comfortable!!! 72 is about the house temp here too or like 22 celsius. :)

hahah someday she will probably be glued to it so for now we try to limit it as much as possible. We really only bust it out when she's absolutely loosing it and nothing we can do will calm her down especially when we've got our hands full with other things! It's nice to have the fall back :)

Ah I spoke too soon, you got it together better at second campground. Camping in the rain is never easy especially with a baby. Looks like that heat dome is here to stay though…
We were right by there at Twin Rivers - I'll bet they are very close to each other so would look similar for sure. Sorry we let you down!!! hahah we rely too much on the van to hold all our things and forget how much you need for the tent! lol
