Pyotr Tchaikovsky - Nutcracker, Waltz of the Flowers (Opus 71), Piano music and score

- Tchaikovsky wrote his Nutcracker ballet piece in 1892. Initially the ballet wasn't such a great success. However, the 20 minute Nutcracker Suite that Tchaikovsky extracted from the ballet, became a huge success, and it might arguably be his most well known piece. This is the transcription of the composer himself of the Waltz of the Flowers, the last piece of the suite.
Check out the other pieces on the channel and let me know in the comments if you have suggestions for another piece.

This peace is colorful like it was played by an orchestra...This is a clue of the composer's skill! Tchaikovsky = genius
Tchaikovsky was definitely a genius, but didn't write the piano arrangement. It was written by his close friend, Sergei Taneyev.
This made me feel hopeful again, that humanity can be wonderful
music often does that; it’s why i love it :)
very true i feel the same
Good on ya mate
I think this is the best out of the suite
The Harp Cadenza sounds equally well on a Piano
*cough* Piano *cough*

where can i find this piano sheet music? which website? thank you
On IMSLP.org
@@awesomepianosheetmusic888 I can't find this arrangement there. Do you have a link for this arrangement?
The arpeggiation signs are missing... I'd recommend at least penciling them in if one prints a copy. They are needed for that classic sound.
But this doesn't look very difficult to play, a plus for the average harried pianist.
Romantic*
@@RoX-xo5fm what
@@GUILLOM it's from the Romantic period not the Classical but idk "classic" is a broad term that covers everything before the contemporary music. Idk what contevt he used there
@@jrexx2841 contemporary music can be classical too.

Check IMSLP.org on nutcracker suite, opus 71. Look for arrangements -> single piano, arrangement from Tsjaikovski
Waltz of the flowers is the last piece from the suite
The end is majestic ✨️
