BMK's concern for fellow musicians is exemplary. I recall how in the midst of his concert in Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi, someone reached out to him to whisper into his ears. BMK paid a brief and dignified tribute to Pandit Kumar Kumar Gandharv who had just passed away, and resumed singing after a minute of silence.

No words to describe the melody and spontaneous apt response to each of the songs especially srujana jeevan khamas. Every time i listen to it it sounds to me a like a new khamas and new kirtana

Endaro - makes us totally intolerant to any other rendition of the same by any other musician...Meru Samaana is just the ultimate piece with BMK agmark sangathis ....to be savoured leisurely... Khamas Alapana is soaked in sweetness ... A great weekend feast!

Agree 200%.When people sing Endaro.... at super speed, it makes me sad.. As many greats have already said, BMK displayed the greatest respect for the composer in his singing and nobody could match him in bringing out the saahithya bhava.
