Thanks for this. I didn't watch it on time, but have bought all the digital-only kinect game before the store shutdown. On my mind, non-kinect games eventually will be well preserved under Xenia, but is highly unlikely the Kinect will ever have some sort of implementation there. It doesn't help that 360s are going to get "red lights" and every time an unit dies, harder the preservation of the Kinect library will become. My unit died yesterday, so even in my attempt I may never play those game again.
Yea as sad as it is I think the Kinect is going to be forgotten to time, thanks for checking it out. I plan in the future doing deeper dives into the digital games so people can check it out and it at least preserves it in a way
@@Shnickerman Agreed I think many missed out on it as it’s a Kinect game and wasn’t on sale. I think you said in your video that Kinect games are not planned for emulation so double whammy there. I prefer playing the games on a retail 360 myself. If there’s anything from the sale I really wish I had it’d be Remember Me. At least I got a hard copy, just wish I had it digital and that sale was pretty unbeatable. Everything else like Haunt and other games I have had for a long while. My friend is getting me Fruit Ninja Connect as he has a copy installed on his console.
My Fruit Ninja Kinect only works online, when I go offline it goes to demo mode. I have can't have it hardlined the whole time, any tips? I own the full title & my daughter loves it.
@@Shnickerman Dang oh well... too bad. 1. I have made sure it is saved on my hard drive, not in the cloud. 2. Created a Kinect ID for offline play, it scans your biometrics to sign in using you and the cam. This was a major suggestion by the community forums a few years ago. 3. I can't connect it via Wifi 6, but it works hardlined with the the ethernet cable. I've heard people have to buy additional hardware to make it connect to wifi 6. I have an Xbox 360 E, so IDK. Do you run your Xbox 360 on wifi? If you have any tips, ideas or resources. I'm all ears. I'm mostly using this console for my daughter's starter and she loves Fruit Ninja Kinect. I own the Xbox One as well and working on getting the Xbox One Kinect and buying Fruit Ninja 2, so she can play there. Too bad my 360 version goes to like Demo mode offline. Oh well Thanks for your Kinect videos, saw them all and enjoyed!
Xbox 360 digital games get 1 offline license for every purchase and it gets attached to the first 360 console to download it. It might still be stuck on your old 360 from back in the day. If the 360 you're using doesn't have that offline license, the profile that owns the game needs to be logged in to play. The good news is that you can move that offline license to your current 360. On the 360 dashboard, go into settings-->account management-->license transfer. That license transfer utility should move things over for you and allow you to play offline. Hope it works for out you!

Haunt is probably my favorite of the Kinect games as it's mainly walking around and shining a light for direct.
It's sad that people can't buy it anymore

Mini Ninjas Adventure and My Body Coach 3 are both on sale right now. Kinect Sports and maybe some others have DLC worth picking up as well.
Yup I just picked up mini ninja adventures, I think more will be on sale soon!
You should also look into Double Fine's Kinect Party not to be confused with Kinect party in motion a casual game and Mars Rover a free title.
Yea thanks I just found out about that one recently as well!
Can i play kinect games on pc if i buy xbox one kinect with pc adapter
