Curious to know if you have found any difference between different brands of fuel ? I always run 98 and have five since new, hasn’t had any thing else. I usually use 7/11 fuel which is mobil. On freeway cycle it generally sits on 11.6/11.8 that’s at the pump calculations. Mine is stock except tow bar, brake controller and a sports muffler in place of the factory muffler, just the muffler no other pipe work was modified. Last week we went down the coast around 90 minutes each way. No luggage was just a run for dinner with friends, I filled it with 98 bp never used bp fuel before. There and back it ran 10.9L per 100, I’ve never ever got that since day one, it’s never been under 11.4. Fluke, one off or does bp fuel have some thing in it the others don’t. I’m towing the van the first time at Easter so I’m going to take note of economy, what brand fuel, etc etc and see what it returns. I didn’t buy a near on 3T brick on wheels for economy but I’ve been impressed how good it is for its size. My old hsv statesman we had used on par with this thing on a long run, slightly less around town, around 2 to 3 litres better then the patrol but it also weighed around a tonne lighter to
2023 Patrol & endorse your results. Tyre pressure makes a significant difference as well.
Our ‘22 uses 15.1L/100km on the Highway and 15.9 - 16.2 in the city .. that’s running 98
Rock solid 15/100 on 35s fully loaded sitting on 110. Calcilated, not the screen.
About 17-19l/100 stop start
That’s not bad at all for a 3 ton v8 petrol
