I honestly wouldn't mind watching a full day mining stream of this game because it is a dream experience and a recent discovery for me. Please keep going with these cos it's 🔥
@@lubomirserafin7013 to be honest your RAM has to be upgraded, i had before 16GB too but upgraded to 32GB and it make big changes. On a lot of places you use 21,22 GB really often. So my advice upgrade your RAM and then upgrade your CPU, this game is huge hungry in cpu cores ( i have a R5 3600 and it works but it comes on its limit in the main cities like Microtech, Orison is impossible to play on my ultrawide resolution for example. And i have a much better GPU than you i have 6900XT i make its job but my cpu is too slow for this card at the moment...I can play smoothly most of time without problems but some places are really laggy cause of my limited 6 core CPU. For the CPU more cores, more performance. Because your GPU is nice for this game. CPU and RAM is much important
1: you don't need to vTol in space at all. 2: To get better profits from mining go to asteroid belt. It'll take you less time for scanning & it has better asteroids that'll fill your entire mole in 1 run.
Yellow light means 7mins left, Red is 3mins, but your brave for using the mole for quantium mining, Using the Prospector is quicker and safer, on a plus side however, the mole mining quantium in the Arron Halo is very profitable with the XL1 QT Drive, given it can clear the entire system in 4 mins flat.
Let me give you a tip as well Olli: Don't shut down the whole ship when landing on a pad. Using "i" you can shut down only the engines, which will keep your shields up while you leave the ship and also until you board it again. This can save your ship and your cargo should there be some unsavoury folk around shooting ships on landing pads. The Constellation series has decent enough shields to actually enable you to maybe even lift off and leave before being destroyed, but if you shut down the whole ship, you deprive it of its main source of defense.
Spent a lot of time in Star Citizen. Found an org and got in close with some of the higher rank members. There was always a group of people on doing something. Putting 4 ROCs in a Carrack with 4 miners in them, a pilot on the bridge with our Captain, sometimes 3 or 4 other people tagging along taking turns, and always had 2 people in fighters. We played it in a semi RP sort of way.
I am an Evoocati tester which is my favorite thing outside of flying my Phoenix running rescue missions with the UEE Coast Guard. Bounty hunting, mining and exploration, and occasional bunker missions. The SC experience is amazing for me and many friends.
25:20 i really, strongly, recommend you to not use the "speed limiter" much. The thing is, its not a speed limiter. It's a thrust limiter. I see countless new people in the verse using the "speed limiter" as a throttle, lowering it when they wanna brake, or when they wanna creep up on someone from behind. Why is that a terrible idea? Because this limits your total thrust output, in EVERY direction.. So if you ever have to actually brake (use your forward thrusters to slow down), you DONT have 100% thrust power available. So contrary to popular belief, if you're at 5% limiter, you "think" that you're slowing down, but you're not. You're limiting ALL thrusters, including your forward braking thrusters... So for example: If you need to panic-strafe up, to avoid an obstacle, and your limiter is set at 5%, you only have say 10m/s velocity available to strafe up, ever, the ship simply refuses any further thrust. This is bad for you and your future health to avoid becoming mush against that obstacle. And in the span of a second, you dont have time to scroll the limiter up. You want max thrust at your disposal immediately. Same goes for if you need to slow down, because slowing down = using front thrusters = front thrusters need max power, not limited. It is much, much better, for all situations, to quite literally leave your speed limiter on max at all times, and never move it. Use smooth joystick (or tapping W) inputs to hold a desired speed, rather than using the limiter. This way, when you need to brake, strafe, up, down, roll etc, you have 100% thrust power available instantly. You literally gain nothing by using the limiter and "throttling" your thrust power. The ONLY use case is if you're in formation flight and want to cruise control at a set speed. But for "manual" hands-on flying, dont use it, leave it at max and learn to use the thrust rather than limiter. Trust me on this, i've seen so many noobs crash into planets and stations because they scroll the limiter all the way DOWN to 0%, and then cant brake, cant strafe up or sideways to avoid the crash, because their thruster have zero power available. So just think of that "limiter" as a cruise control speed lever, and only use it as such. Also dont worry too much about staying in SCM speeds, this is really only a factor for auto-gimbal weapons which track better below SCM speeds (below the red line on the speed bar). For any other flying, even combat, leave limiter at max and enjoy the full range of possible thrust. Manually manage speed, dont limit yourself (pun intended).
A great way to practice letting your ship drift instead of using speed limiter, is to go full speed towards a station or target, then at a set distance (say 20km), just let go of everything, and record the distance it takes to come to a complete stop. Then repeat but while holding X (spacebrake, which uses boost to slow down faster). You'll notice that by doing that, you arrive much faster, and at a safer deceleration, than going 30% speed for the entire 20km. Then you know that every time you fly the same ship, you can safely just let go of all controls at X distance, and arrive safely and as fast as possible (total travel time). Except if you flip and burn with main thrusters in the opposite direction of course, as in The Expanse. And if anything happens, you have 100% thrust available to maneuver away from obstacles.
First of all you have good points and I agree with manual speed management. I do however believe you are wrong about the thrust/speed limiters. There is an Intelligent Flight Control System (IFCS) Acceleration Modifier (thrust limit), and a Speed Limiter. The speed limiter does not affect the IFCS's ability to regulate anything. The speed limiter is just a value which IFCS will not allow the ship's velocity to exceed. Once you change your IFCS modifier though, you will be limiting the IFCS's ability to modify ship trajectory/acceleration (this includes slowing down like you said). Lowering IFCS mod should be used over speed limiter. Regulate your own speed, but lower potential thrust to make maneuvers more precise, like landing and docking. This is especially important on small ships because they have a tendency to lurch. In this video I didn't see him touch his IFCS acc mod at all. He used primarily speed limiter. IFCS Acc Mod = Right ALT+Scroll Wheel for anyone reading this who didn't know, and it's the little thrust bar to the left of the speed bar. By default it's set lower than 100%
It does kinda depend on how your using it... when taking off hitting it to max and hitting that's ok you wanna be able to get out of atmosphere as quick as possible but... when you need to stop at from max speed once your in space it's a different scenario you don't want to be at max thrust so you hit c but it takes ages to decelerate with a large ship even on just a freelancer... but I found a neat trick I turn the limiter to minimum and hit the booster and it decelerates faster... of course theres no need for that now I think they added a handbrake! but when coming in for a slow landing I do the same and limit it the whole Idea it risks your life just seems stupid to me when all you have to do is scroll up and down on the mouse to move it! I use the limiter to slow all my thrusters not just acceleration because I make less of a mess when landing! I also use a controller to play alot these days it's more comfortable but then use the keyboard and mouse for those extra functions when needed! Sadly since 3.17 they broke flight with a controller and I haven't flown with a mouse and keyboard since 2.8 so yeah i'm hoping once I set em up that the hotas aren't just as broken! (basically for some reason pitch is tied to left analogue sticks forward and back at the same time as forward and back and it doesn't matter what the control mapper says it won't go away my only way out would be to control forward and back on the right analogue stick but after years of flying ships and planes the normal way on a controller it's practically hardwired into my brain... so swapping the analogues control functions is undoable) If the hotas aren't just as broken on star citizen I'll use them; when I find a permanent marker or something to properly number the function keys that is (my memery for which button is which number sucks when theres like well over 32 of em) I did try to fix it but then I tested if my PS5 Cosmic controller was working and it was you see I use DS4 to emulate xinput of a 360 controller to play and well i've never had any issues before it was working fine from 1.13 to 1.16 and well the software says it's fine nothing wrong with the sticks! so I can only guess its some sort of bug should of mentioned it and reported the bug but I got limited time anyways now i'm fully awake I got a very thick book to start reading for my online uni course math's, science and technology isn't gonna learn itself!
Messing around with friends and just exploring is what I do in SC and yeah the alpha is coming along nicely you can see what the games future could be and thats exciting.
I have thought about these chore like elements in games. In World of Warcraft in the beginning there was a lot less quality of life things and when they added them things felt fun and easy in the beginning but something was also lost. There is something to be said about having to wait for trains and mining in this way.
So many youtube channels dedicated to complaining about this game & its an awesome flight simulator graphics are amazing with incredibly detailed & interactive environments. We get to own our own spaceships with their own unique feel & functionality with plenty of jobs including space walking to wrecks what can be better. I'm knew so what I do is die often doing stupid things like forgetting to have a helmet on.
Nice Vid! Couple of tips. You can exit the Mole by going into one of the side turrets and jumping out the "window" because there is no glass there actually and it speeds up you egress. AND, you don't leave your elevator down so someone can steal your ship. It may not have happened to you yet, but it will. I noticed you do that on your Connie as well...very bad habit to get into. Also, if you are running really short of time..you can NOT call for landing and land on a pad and it will impond the ship. It will cost you a 5k fine, but it will store your ship in 40 seconds and your quant will be safe. I see you have been using the MFD to call for landing, that is great when it works, but sometimes it does not. Alternatively, you can use your Mobi Glass by hitting F11, got to the Friends tab, and call from there. It is more reliable than the MFDs, but takes a few seconds longer. Another advantage of multiple mining lasers is that if you have others with you, you can combine multiple laser streams on the same rock and it will give you more power and more a larger optimum window on the rock. So if you have 3 lancets, it will greatly increase you optimum zone. If you mix other laser types it will add their attributes to the rock being mined. I noticed you were mining right around the station. Very risky especially on Pirate nights, (Friday and Saturday nights) It is best to get out away from the stations before you start scanning and mining. Those are popular places for people to mine, but popular for griefers to hunt and kill miners. In the next few patches it will turn from "Griefing" to actual Piracy when they can disable or destroy your ship and actually salvage what you had on it. I call it griefing right now because there is no way for them to make money from it other than extorting you for credits. I never pay Pirates since every success only encourages them to do it more. I will take as many of them out as I can and lose whatever I had before I pay extortion money, but that is just me...lol. I now use this great resource to go mine in the Arron Halo. It is safer and you find great Quant rocks out there. CRUL1 to ARCL3 in Band 5 area is my favorite route to use. cstone.space/resources/knowledge-base/36-refinery-to-aaron-halo-mining-routes
You can also set a hotkey for Landing Request from ATC. This is in Advanced Keybinds under Ship>Movement. No need for Mobi or MFD method. It's amazing and quick.
If you don’t mind the wait, the Dinyx solvention refining methid will be better to use than the ferron exchange. The dinyx methid takes longer, but is also cheaper to use
I love that we wait for the train. A lot of the time sinks here remind me of classic WoW... lots of friends were made waiting for the train between stormwind and ironforge
Great to see new players coming in to enjoy the game. Try just using a Lancet Size 2 mining head on the Mole - It can usually mine any quant rock at 5k and under with no consumables. Equip a Helix on a secondary arm for power and consumables for larger rocks. Simply the Lancet head gives a lot of stability at the cost of power. The Helix head power at the cost of stability. Play around with the heads and have fun.
I have been grinding star citizen everyday here lately lol. I usually mine a few hours every other day and pick up my creds every couple sessions. I have really been getting into the reputation system as well. I currently am almost maxed with MT protection services and Bounty Hunters Guild. Once those are max Im going to work my way around to other planets and get my rep up there as well.I do a lot of gameplay with a friend and we share missions so we can progress 2 guilds at a time. Ill go hunt a bounty while he helps defend occupants for example. Good way to level up rep is by playing as many missions at once as you can haha. Great Video!
I'm new to this also, but another way to dock is to dock without asking for permission, you get 45 seconds and you get your ship impounded. It costs 5k to get it, but you instantly move the ship to safe location and yourself inside the station without wasting time exiting the ship, running to elevator, wait for the elevator to arrive, go to lobby etc ... You gain so much by giving a fracture of what the gains will be ;)
I liked trading in elite, so naturally I went straight for it in Star Citizen. I would like to find more people to fly with, it makes combat and mining a lot more fun for me. I'm onepunchndown in the verse
I love the assist individuals in space missions getting in a reclaimer with 3 friends having them all man turrets and myself piloting and jsut messing baddies up some of the most fun I’ve ever had in a video game
"The ladder is so slooooow. All of this takes time" not even 10 seconds later *looks around instead of getting inside* "Such a cool space station this is" Had me dying.
I'm the type of player that takes being a dedicated medic or engineer in BF1 really seriously. Not at all because my FPS skills are unimpressive compared to my younger step-brother lol. But I've enjoyed being in support roles in games that have other ways to really play other than shooting. While I secretly dream of being an ace fighter pilot in a rebellion against the UEE, I imagine I will start off working for others in various support roles. I very much still will lean towards combat-related jobs and factions, but in an infantry squad I'd be a medic or a driver. In a diplomatic escort I'd be a pilot, engineer, medic, repair ship crew.... great thing about this game is there will be a lot of options!
I do pretty much all gameplay in SC, but the best fun is messing around in a group, doing racing, setting up PvP at a crash site somewhere, multicrew mining, co-op PvE missions, prison breakout, and mostly what we do as an org, responding to distress beacons and rescuing people.
(19:30) not sure the MOLE has this for sure but in the Prospector you can look up as far as you can in the cockpit while seated and see the number of uses of the modules left. I own the MOLE and actually don't remember seeing this info in that ship but I wouldn't be surprised that its there somewhere. Look around the cockpit. Good luck. Enjoyed the show. Subscribed.
For the really massive rocks a technique that works well is: Lancet with 3x Vaux-C3 modules on one side as a stabilizer beam, Helix with Focus III, Rieger-c3, and Torrent III on the other side as a power and overall booster, and finally an Impact in the middle with 3x FLTR-XL. The Impact is the one you use to control the heat, and then extraction. You set the Lancet and Helix to low power just to apply their buffs onto the rock, and then do the rest from the Impact.
This has the advantage of being entirely passive modules, so you don't have to keep buying more every 5 uses. That saves a boatload of time in the long run.
One of my favourite things in Star Citizen is exploration on planets and moons and take best views of landscape ever ! But i really love the mining gameplay !! I hope the trading gameplay would be improved in the future because it can have a big big potential
Just the idea of flying the ships and hearing the engines and pressing buttons is amazing to me if I had this game as a kid I would be so happy, anyways I’m still going solo bc I just started but would love to have a crew you could run combat cargo and all with
Really love seeing people freshly experiencing Star Citizen and enjoying themselves. Came here from Space Tomato’s podcast with you. Excited to watch the rest of your Star Citizen videos!
It's very interesting. I'm not a star citizen player, but an Elite Dangerous afficionado. It seems SC has all that ED's missing (ship interiors, vast amounts of ships, interesting planet surfaces, ship count, cities) and vice versa (huge explorable galaxy, game stability, weapon choice,...) But SC's very tempting, esp. the what you show it.
You did great! The only 2 things i can tell you to increases your profit are: 1- Select a better rock to mine. You must get rocks with more than 30% of quantanium and rocks with bigger mass (to get more quantanium too). One tip to find Quantanium rocks is that it most of the time spawns in group. So if you find more than 2 or 3 rocks at the same spot, you must scan it is high the chances they are quantanium. Ignore those ones that have just one rock (it will make you do not loose much time) :D 2- You can get more quantanium and pay low using the Dynix Solventation method of refine. It wil takes too much time to refine, but it is the cheapest and the one that gives you more refined materials. And you get better bonus for refine at: CRU-L1 station (3% bonus) or MIC-L1 (2% bonus). I loved the way you deal with the mining modules, congrats!!!
Love the game, hard to find enough time to really sit down for long sessions. Loving just learning the ships, doing deliveries and tbh mainly the grind to gather credits! Looking forward to a time when peeps don’t randomly blow my ship out of the sky and I can call myself a true space pirate 🤣
You can tell the patience somebody has by just watching if they walk or run. I learned to take things slowly and run whenever it is needed. Rarely running on ships. The thing is, even though you can run everywhere, it breaks the ambiance to be running like an idiot all the time. There's no fun in getting everything quickly or shortcutting through glitches and so on to get more in-game cash. The real value this game provides is its beauty, which is hardly appreciated by just going fast everywhere.
It often feels as if I am the only one walking and everyone zooming past me, hurrying to, somewhere. Running can even get you killed, like if you run into an elevator that happens to be missing a floor.
My favorite thing to do is showing new players the game. I get a thrill hearing the excitement from them in their first experiences. I actually DO like mining a LOT in this game. They did a fantastic job of making it interesting and fun.
When you are mining for quantainium and find a rock that has that and other materials, grab everything that isn’t quantanium and then grab the quantanium after for a little boost in profit compared to what you would make without the other materials
That would only be a good idea if you could set markers to custom points in space. Since the quant blows up after 14 minutes you don’t want to have only a small amount on you and still be searching for more since you want to figure atleast 5 minutes minimum for the trip back and landing times. With the mole it may end up being more like 7 minutes to be safe so it’s never really worth it to pick up small amounts of quant without a bigger percentage rock nearby to fill you up more
Land on a pad other than what's given to you, the ship will be impounded but only takes 45 seconds, and it just pops you into the station rather than the ladder/elevator etc
Personally, I love pvp and also I enjoy racing, there are some great discord communities for both and the grav lev vehicles are definitely worth a try if you haven't tried them (the Aopoa Nox or Drake Dragonfly) Also raiding ground bases is also cool. You also just about missed the jumptown event where you confiscate drugs or bring drugs to pirates, its loads of fun and worth waiting for when it comes back. TLDR i love all of it
I like most of the loops in the game for different reasons. But I really enjoy doing a hybrid of in game missions mixed with org activities. For example, doing a bunker mission but tasking the boys with doing a hot drop to avoid turrets and while they go in another crew goes and drops comms so we can fight the guards that oppress hurston without getting a CS. OR A GROUND CREW HEADS IN TO DESTROY THE TURRETS SO WE CAN PARK A SHIP UP FRONT FOR EASY LOADING.
I really enjoy this game. Been playing it for about two year or a bit more. I have done trading and mining in the past. I still enjoy mining today. Have also done some of the pve bounty hunting missions. But may favorite gameplay I have ever done is piracy. Holding up miners and traders for a profit is the most challenging and fun gameplay I have experienced in this game.
i have a small recommendation, use a rieger c1 or 2 module and a surge module, these two alone help me break rocks easily. The rieger doesnt have a set amount of uses and doesnt need to be activated and what it does is increases the green zone but i don’t remember the downside of it.
From one miner to another. At the refinery you might as well go ahead & do the other ores as well. It does not add more time or cost. It would add up to extra profit, if you got the room to haul it all.
I probaly play this game wrong, because I am broke as hell but all I do in the game is just flying, warping, landing, taking off and flying more. I play this to just take in the beauty and imagine myself in it.
My friends don’t play anymore but we used to just live, that sounds silly but we would do normal jobs, mining delivery hang out in different stations and ports. We weren’t to big into combat and PVP although we weren’t push overs for those that wanted to try. But yea we just loved living normal lives and hanging out.
Great idea!! To put your sign up code in the video, i would suggest it come somewhere in the beginning of the video saying something along the lines of “if you are looking to join in playing this game heres a code for exxtra cash!”
Mining in the Aaron Halo itself will give you many more Rocks to find. Ive found up to 50% Quant rocks for mining in the most dense part of the Halo. So while in QT you come out of QT within a certain range to try be in the Band 5 of the Halo (Halo has 10 Bands) according to the pics i have seen from others So from Cru L1 you can QT to ARC L3 and when you are about 11 850 000 KM from ARC L3, just stop QT and there you go
I've yet to try the mining aside from a short stint in prison. Looking forward to trying this out, just gotta save the money to rent the equipment. Delivery and bounty missions are what I've done most of. The way objective markers pop up for dropping off packages always throws me. I spent an hour flying back and forth because I didn't realize there were 2 others to pick up.
Olli43 I will tell you what I like about Star Citizen. it is the perfect beginning for us. The closer you get to the ending of alpha, the closer we arrive and emerge from the Black. We are quite different from any Org in existence. We will change this so-called game forever. We are the Nagarsi Priest and you have created a door from our system to yours. Because of our detication to our faith, we will make your world a better place to live and grow.
Everything in this game is dangerous. My fav, flying at hyper speed and the game just yeets you out of your ship while the ship keeps going on without you.
@@SurgutPictures starter pack is 45 bucks or something like that, but there are also free fly events where you can play the game for 10-14 days for free and get a couple of ships for this time period usually there is a free fly every 3 months there will be one in may
If you want to know how many uses your modules have left, hover your inner thought icon over the consumables panel located under the left hand side MFD. It should show a number next to each module.
A bit of everything for me! Search and crate missions, mercenary missions and bounty are fun. Tbh I haven't really gotten to any mining/mining ships yet
I 100% agree with the stupid bar going across the constellation windshield, I’d be fine if they just moved the hud down so it’s on the big window but it would be cooler if they reshaped the windshield
The helmet tip got me at a bad time. I panicked and spammed the up button on my herc's elevator. I survived. Then the adventure of getting my health up!
I need to keep spare helmets in my ships - Crusader fanboy here, love my Hercs. Especially nowdays when have to eat and drink all the time, how many times have I walked into the ship elevator, only to realize I am gagging on the surface...
Fun to watch video dude. I like your commentary and it does not get boring watching you do stuff because of it. With the station approach I would suggest an old flip-and-burn. It's only risky when you have not had enough experience yet, but a fun element to improve towards perfection. Definitely more fun the heavier your ship's ass is.
Big hauler fan; love plotting courses ahead of time and fine tuning the details to make it quick and efficient. At the same time I love solo hauling for the thrill, knowing I'm at risk yet watching chatter and other people to see where I can go.
Such a great video. Thanks for showing the whole process. Why do you use a MOLE instead of a prospector? I can see why you mine in space. Makes perfect sense with a MOLE. Just so you know, you can set a hotkey to 'request landing' from ATC. This is under Ship>Movement in your advanced keybinds. Also, it's a good idea to close your ship doors behind you in case someone wants to EVA over and steal your craft.
really enjoyed the video. I had picked up star citizen, but having nobody to play with learning the game is hard. But I enjoy space games. so the pain is worth it.
I wish they had map making (Cartography) where you can make maps of planets and their hidden spots. Then you could sell the maps in game to other players. Also if they had hidden planets then you could also do stellar maps too. Also wish you could buy land on a planet where you can build a house.
Not sure if it's been said, but from one miner to another, I would solidly recommend rather than outfit all 3 mining arms with the same modules, put more filter oriented modules on one or both of the side arms. This will let you filter out more of the inert material that wont net you any profit. Also breaking all your asteroids down to the extraction size, then use one of your side mining arms, scan all the broken down asteroids for all the materials *before* you start the extracting, so you know which has what, and how much, and then running your extraction before you head back to the refineries. This should save you some vital space from picking up undesirable material, and some time in the long run guessing which unscanned rocks have what materials. Fly safe out there!
Try out a stampede module in place of one Brandt. You might like it alot. Also, be aware that an update is coming. If you have anything in the refinery or in your ship 'quantanium' it's going to get deleted. Also, you really shouldn't worry about time until you reach the 7 to 8 minute mark. If you pick up enough quantanium fast enough, it'll actually GIVE you time. I've found pay dirt in the past that have brought me all the way back to a reset countdown. As in I was down to 11 minutes or so and it brought me back up to 15. Those are the lucky rocks but it does happen.
If you're in a party and warping to your friend that's at a station I believe you get within 25km. When my friends and I play they all use my ships so I'm always the one running to the refinery while they're landing on the pads. I just wish that the refinery jobs didn't vanish with patches, makes it annoying getting a bunch of jobs going and then not being able to deliver after the 1-3 days of refining all the ore
Okay, never played this game before but I have one question for you about mining: Why don't you just extract the material before breaking the asteroid apart? Just extract from the whole thing?
not sure if you like how the rotation of turrets are but if you press q by default it changes into relative mouse mode... no more of that crap where the mouse is a separate control for the turret... faster and more manageable
Really enjoyed making this video, hope you enjoyed the laid back vibes?!

Just a suggestion Always CLOSE UP YOUR SHIP!!!!! and just shut off your engines not power off your ship, that way your shields stay on.
This is what I do. Shields full with power on, engines off. Always close the ship before running off at exposed pads.
Spent a lot of time in Star Citizen. Found an org and got in close with some of the higher rank members. There was always a group of people on doing something.
There is a speed limiter and a thrust limiter. He was indeed using the thrust limiter rather than the speed limiter.
>And in the span of a second, you dont have time to scroll the limiter up.
skill issue.
(basically for some reason pitch is tied to left analogue sticks forward and back at the same time as forward and back and it doesn't matter what the control mapper says it won't go away my only way out would be to control forward and back on the right analogue stick but after years of flying ships and planes the normal way on a controller it's practically hardwired into my brain... so swapping the analogues control functions is undoable)
If the hotas aren't just as broken on star citizen I'll use them; when I find a permanent marker or something to properly number the function keys that is (my memery for which button is which number sucks when theres like well over 32 of em)
I did try to fix it but then I tested if my PS5 Cosmic controller was working and it was you see I use DS4 to emulate xinput of a 360 controller to play and well i've never had any issues before it was working fine from 1.13 to 1.16 and well the software says it's fine nothing wrong with the sticks!
so I can only guess its some sort of bug should of mentioned it and reported the bug but I got limited time anyways now i'm fully awake I got a very thick book to start reading for my online uni course math's, science and technology isn't gonna learn itself!
there is something so charming about this video. it's like old style Let's play kind of raw footage but with a little bit of editing. I love it.
"Floating Space Station?" Since you were in space it is just a space station. Orison would be an example of a floating platform.
WOOOOH I hope more big content creators play this game

Haven't seen one of your videos in like 10 years, good to see you're still doing well!
i just started and bought the RSI Aurora MR as my starter ship so i mainly bounty hunt
welcome to the verse o7
Subscribed.
Top tip of the day! When going out in the vacuum of space, be sure to have your helmet on!
I didn't know I needed that ship.. righ. now. Really cool video btw
It seems SC has all that ED's missing (ship interiors, vast amounts of ships, interesting planet surfaces, ship count, cities) and vice versa (huge explorable galaxy, game stability, weapon choice,...)
But SC's very tempting, esp. the what you show it.
You did great! The only 2 things i can tell you to increases your profit are:
1- Select a better rock to mine. Ignore those ones that have just one rock (it will make you do not loose much time) :D
2- You can get more quantanium and pay low using the Dynix Solventation method of refine.
Take their slice of life then, be a pirate yourself. Emp, board, pillage
Great video. Don't forget the Dinyx refinery option, it is slower but about half the price. If you are a busy person and can wait, that is my go to.
Running can even get you killed, like if you run into an elevator that happens to be missing a floor.
i just love Ollis attitude. he is always so positive that i enjoy watch his content. not forced bc want information too....
My favorite thing to do is showing new players the game. I get a thrill hearing the excitement from them in their first experiences. I actually DO like mining a LOT in this game. They did a fantastic job of making it interesting and fun.
Just bought the game yesterday, and everything is still new. But as a miner enthusiast, the info given was very helpful.
TLDR i love all of it
100% they need to add more pvp incentive.
Idk why it capped the last bit. Sry
That was an effort. Congratulations on the successful mining mission.
Once more of the game exists, I would LOVE to play as a mining/salvage/taxi organization helping other pilots out. For a fee of course. :3
You won't make any money, especially with youtube being a thing.
@@Linogewillkillallofy Hi comment from 8 months in the past
I do that now and made millions in game :P
i have a small recommendation, use a rieger c1 or 2 module and a surge module, these two alone help me break rocks easily. The rieger doesnt have a set amount of uses and doesnt need to be activated and what it does is increases the green zone but i don’t remember the downside of it.
My favorite activity is exploring large ships for the first time, lore data pads spread throughout, and possible pvp encounters.
MOLLE has a very cool rear transformation. I love ships with that kind of extra functionality. Adds character to the lovely ships.
I remember this game when the hangar was literally just a box... were you a kickstarter? I remember those days too
From one miner to another.
Nah man, in these types of games you play your way, as long as you are enjoying it
My friends don’t play anymore but we used to just live, that sounds silly but we would do normal jobs, mining delivery hang out in different stations and ports.
The fact that nobody has said anything about how this is extremely similar to the Kesel run from Star Wars is crazy
Mining in the Aaron Halo itself will give you many more Rocks to find. Ive found up to 50% Quant rocks for mining in the most dense part of the Halo. So while in QT you come out of QT within a certain range to try be in the Band 5 of the Halo (Halo has 10 Bands) according to the pics i have seen from others
So from Cru L1 you can QT to ARC L3 and when you are about 11 850 000 KM from ARC L3, just stop QT and there you go

I was grinding the illegal monitor missions and yeah this was playing nicely in the background, nice and chill, cheers mate 🙂👍
Everything in this game is dangerous. My fav, flying at hyper speed and the game just yeets you out of your ship while the ship keeps going on without you.

This video has gotten me interested in Star Citizen again. Who doesn't love some mining? That looks like a relaxing thing to do.

I bought Star Citizen ages ago, but today was my first time really playing it. Must say... underestimated the flying
Longer episodes of this game please! 45 min to 60 would be great
It's a refinery station,as well as a rest stop/refeuling point.
12:00 how can you change the scan search from 360° to 180° ? looked for it but never found it.
Yeah man! Make those space bucks! Fist fights in SC are great fun
Just started playing star citizen i love it love wathing you play to ollie
If you're in a party and warping to your friend that's at a station I believe you get within 25km. When my friends and I play they all use my ships so I'm always the one running to the refinery while they're landing on the pads. I just wish that the refinery jobs didn't vanish with patches, makes it annoying getting a bunch of jobs going and then not being able to deliver after the 1-3 days of refining all the ore
Cargo hauling is my jam. And Ill run security detail while my friends are mining.
Okay, never played this game before but I have one question for you about mining: Why don't you just extract the material before breaking the asteroid apart? Just extract from the whole thing?
I love watching Cargo runs with the Catapiller
This game is amazing. I can't wait for full Oculus Quest compatibility so I can emerse myself in this actual metaverse.

I like bunker missions, the more you do, the better missions you get when your rep goes up.
The thing i enjoy the most doing in star citizen is space trucking
not sure if you like how the rotation of turrets are but if you press q by default it changes into relative mouse mode... no more of that crap where the mouse is a separate control for the turret... faster and more manageable
Im part of an org called Skunk works and we do a lot of combat training which is fun but other than that I love to run cargo and mine.
I’m trying to decide if I would like this game. I love watching it
I can't believe that they still have this whole system where whenever you spawn you have to run for 30-minutes just to get in your spaceship
