A graphic detail, which cannot be shown with that character because of the hair: in Fallout 76 you could see the translucent effect of the cartilage of the ears.
I can tell a lot of features and details needed to be cut or changed due to 76 being an online game. So here's what I know/think happened: -Since 76 is an online game it makes sense for VATS to not have slow motion. (I think it's still good though, it's adds to the tension) -Power Armor falling from heights may have been removed to prevent colliding with players/NPC's and staggering/damaging them. -I think 76 having trees with leaves was a good choice style wise (I know it conflicts with there being radiation but it's still sci-fi fiction in the end) -NPC's can't be hurt as they may be needed for other players to interact with -This is a guess but I think the reason that no bullet shells fly out of guns is either for better performance or it's because the initial animation required visual trickery which 76 can't pull off as it's online and people could easily see the bullet fly out and then despawn mid-air when the animation finishes. -Weapon and other effects are either the same or somewhat improved (Makes sense due to same assets) -Power Armor disappears in 76 most likely to prevent data usage and lag in servers -NPC dialogue in 76 is so much better than 4's (Thank god)
Offline games will always be better graphics than they would be if they was made for online . Online games need to be limited as not to cause lag with people on poorest connections . It's common sense . You can only send so much information down a line depending on your bandwidth .
Dont get me wrong, I love both games. But this comparison is completely biased. Fallout 76's world is far better than 4's, but you also have to remember one game is 200 years after the bombs dropped and the other 25 years after. Fallout 76 will have mor foliage and color because Appalachia wasn't as heavily bombed as other places as it was mostly untouched. Also, Fallout 76 also has water explosion effects, just like Fallout 4. I'm not sure why it didn't show there. Vats in 76 is not slowed due to it being online. You can also target individual limbs with a perk card. The muzzle smoke looks like it's coming from behind the gun in fallout 4. In Fallout 76, it looks like it's coming from the muzzle, like it's supposed to. At 5:33, you labeled the footage wrong. Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 are both great games with their own pros and cons. Your video was good, but clearly, you favored Fallout 4, which doesn't make a fair comparison.
76 has a more varied and much larger map. "Better" eh... not so much. 4 has a much more densely packed map with meaningful questing content, MUCH more atmosphere due to better lighting, textures, performance etc. Especially after NG update. But 76 is online and has to sacrifice a lot to keep up. Both are good. It's just 4 is better. :P
@EQOAnostalgia Honestly, I don't even think both games should be compared. They're completely different. One was built for a single-player experience and other was built for live service. It'd be like comparing skyrim with eso.
Might want to redo the molotov test with the same level of light in both games. The difference in lighting between inserts a variable that is not being accounted for. It's like that optical illusion where two blocks of the same color will appear to be different when they have different backgrounds behind them.
@@GameLight Oh, there is indeed a difference in the lighting quality overall between the games, but you did one test in the day and the other at night. That's more than just an engine difference, that's also literally the difference between day and night. Like I said, it is introducing another variable that is not being accounted for.
Can someone convince me to play fallout 76 as someone who played it at launch but I didn’t stick around as you guys know what launch was like. Is it worth getting on it and starting from the beginning
They have more difference. Building, crafting, lvl up, perks, mechanics and other. For example in F76-deseases, indicators of hunger and thirst, bonuses for your MP, no time stop in Pip-Boy, Pip-Statue active bonuses, lvl locks, about 5 types of currencys, different ammos, click on VATS wastes your stamina, different types of medicine, different foods, some specials things like serums. Then u can build the tradebox with your own costs, every day bonus, another individual currency like Atom(to buy some supply, furniture for your base, fences, to change texture and characteristics of your build material(iron walls, concrete walls, brick walls). Interesting customize of your territory(posters, statues, traps, flags, thumbnails on map). Availability of special equipment, presence of outposts, construction and strengthening of facilities. Also, more loyal colliding objects are possible to build end-to-end non-connectable objects. The lack of balance is disappointing, there are a lot of donations even for basic things, as well as 2 game modes with the sub on Fallout-1st . Why the hell is this subscription? Bethesda was clearly not making a game, but a cash cow. Pay to win is on it....and uncomfortable ping(delay of 0.2 to half sec. Its uncomfortable)
I noticed in 76 mutated enemy npc's may attack the player but not necessarily other human npc's. The main quest the Thorns ignored the son when he took me to Atlantic City, and attacked me right in front of him mid conversation with what's her face, but when his father took me, they attacked us both, but at least he fought the Thorns alongside me.
I think the lack of details in the game is due to the fact that it is multiplayer, to handle the amount of players that can be on a server, either that or Bethesda is lazy, which wouldn't make sense since it was just about getting everything what is in Fallout 4 and put in 76
No, either can ruin the industry Look at what recent half assed 60$ single player games have been made and online games can improve the industry like Left4Dead or team fortress 2
I get they're basically the same game with some of the same mechanics, but you're comparing a single-player game to a pseudo-mmo. It's like comparing Skyrim to ESO.
@@GameLight this is sold separately because the original core of the game is not designed for multiplayer lol, and let's be honest, it's still a separate part, not just a 4-part map, but in network mode.
Both game for idiots, not even finished products... its sad your generation playing this kind like trash and call it a game...... And NO nothing to comparing here... VS series of Fallout
if you both played f4 & f76, f76 is far better than f4. unless you're just into mods, then f4. vats in f76 works like an autoaim. no slowmo for obvious reason. npc are essentials. again for obvious reasons. crafting & camp building in f76 are easier. also, f76 has the biggest & most beautifully designed map from all fallouts.
I don't care about the multiplayer aspect of 76 whatsoever. So for me, 76 is just a game that has been compromized for zero benefit. And there is a LOT that is actually compromized, much more than just some smoke and decal effects.
Actually, each vault has its own suit for its own tasks.... The residents of 111 shelters do not need elaborate costumes as they should have been in cryogenic sleep. Yes, good graphics for a network game is good, but even with such graphics, the game does not work very stably with a large crowd of people.
3:44 I hate to have to defend 76, but the smoke in FO4 doesn't exit from the muzzle, so I think it looks better on 76. And now I'm going to take a shower, because I feel filthy for having to actually say something nice about 76
I like the Fallout 76 Vats as it keeps you flowing with combat as vats beforehand felt like a sudden hault to the gameplay flow. Take that from someone who has played every 3D Fallout game
Hello, how do you get the pistol weapon harness from the fallout 4 video or what is it called and how do you get it? If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.
Everything that was in fallout 4, got horribly nerfed in 76, I’m not even going to mention what they did to the “assault rifle”, as if it wasn’t bad enough already(just to let you know I’m talking about the looks of 4’s assault rifle, 76 messed with the stats of the gun and it’s modifications)
It's basically the same, BUT with some obvious adaptations for an online game. The heaviest difference for me is F4 can be modded extremely, contrary to F76.
76 has way better bullet holes. It makes total sense for it to pierce the thin metal of the car. Also what a letdown they made such great bullet water effects then completely ignored grenades.
Fallout 4 will probably remain one of the best Fallout games personal opinion. I love 76 as well. I feel like 76 has the best world map and the enemy variation is insane in comparison to every fallout game. I still run into things I never fought before in fallout 76. If you don't have a series X then it will most likely play terrible though.
Comparing these two is weird. One is single player only and one online only. Fallout 4 is more immersive, Fallout 76 for those of us that got bored alone lol.
What bothers me about fallout 4 compared to fallout 76 is that the vegetation and plant life is sparse and dead compared to 76. I may not be a scientific genius, but I'm pretty sure after 200 years the trees should have leaves and not look so pale and dead. It's one of the reasons I install mods for fallout 4 to began with.
Power armor system is far way better in 76 than 4. I don't like having to drop my armor and not being able to save it in my inventory... Everytime you want or need it you have to come back to it
Kinda unfair since 76 has to sacrifice graphics quality over stability for online gameplay, while 4 has access for graphical improvements via updates or preferably through mods.
It's not unfair... it's the reality of the situation lol. Offline games can have more packed in, online has to sacrifice. That's not "unfair" that's just the way she goes.
fallout 4 is fine for a single player experience but 76 is a whole online community, its a survival game youre literally living in the world of west virginia.
Fallout 4 has better environmental details, by that I mean the roads, the ground, the rocks, the water, even the tree's, especially with mods. While 76 tree's have leaves, the tree's only look good in 76 close up, if you're a 100 meters away or something like that they just look like triangular shapes, and I have my graphics maxed out so it is not my settings. Fallout 76 environment feels like it was made in Java script while fallout 4 looks more genuine. Even the NPC's look better in fallout 4. Where 76 excels is the item and object details, that's about it, otherwise fallout 4 looks better in every other way. I don't know what version of fallout 4 is being played in this video, but when I shoot an NPC all other NPC's attack me straight away.
Honestly all of this is great and while it’s very apparent they downgraded fallout (while claiming otherwise but whatever) the only thing that makes fallout 76 a “bad game” is the forced subscription of you want the full game experience. Also the fact that it’s priced the same as streaming platform subscription is moronic, it should half that at least. Like 76 was so close to being a perfect multiplayer fallout game, they fixed the dialogue options from 4, (speech checks with more than just charisma, or four just four response options all revolving around basically saying yes but maybe with some extra dialogue) and it seemed to be a really good game after they listened to the fans and added human npcs and whatnot, but fallout 1st is really what shows they only care about money.
To be honest it doesn't make sense comparing Fallout 76 with Fallout 4. Fallout 4 is a singleplayer, you can even play without internet while Fallout 76 is online multiplayer and of course you can't play offline because it's online only, like Diablo IV. And not only, like Skyrim which's singleplayer and Elder Scrolls Online which's online multiplayer only. But Fallout 4 wins, you know why? Modding. You can mod Fallout 4
Its absolutely critical to compare the 2 games because if one doesn't do this, they could potentially be jumping into 76 thinking there is some sort of fun leveling and progression system.
Ur comparing a online game to a single player game somethings are smaller and not in fallout 76 to prevent server lag fallout 4 is single player so doesn’t have server lag

-Power Armor falling from heights may have been removed to prevent colliding with players/NPC's and staggering/damaging them.
-I think 76 having trees with leaves was a good choice style wise (I know it conflicts with there being radiation but it's still sci-fi fiction in the end)
-NPC's can't be hurt as they may be needed for other players to interact with
-This is a guess but I think the reason that no bullet shells fly out of guns is either for better performance or it's because the initial animation required visual trickery which 76 can't pull off as it's online and people could easily see the bullet fly out and then despawn mid-air when the animation finishes.
-Weapon and other effects are either the same or somewhat improved (Makes sense due to same assets)
-Power Armor disappears in 76 most likely to prevent data usage and lag in servers
-NPC dialogue in 76 is so much better than 4's (Thank god)
Ive played 76 for 3400 hours and just notice that you dont have a 4 way character movement animation like FO4.
Only if Fallout 76 had a story mode and it was Single player this could of bean better then fallout 4 but i saying fallout 4 is better
1:14 Is this Harness from a mod ?

@@EQOAnostalgia stop seething copeboy
@EQOAnostalgia Honestly, I don't even think both games should be compared. They're completely different. One was built for a single-player experience and other was built for live service. It'd be like comparing skyrim with eso.
Song playing during video?
I rarely got time to play fallout 4, does that safety harness you have is part of mod or ingame feature?
Fallout 76 ❤ fallout 4 ❤
Might want to redo the molotov test with the same level of light in both games. The difference in lighting between inserts a variable that is not being accounted for. It's like that optical illusion where two blocks of the same color will appear to be different when they have different backgrounds behind them.
I would say there is a big difference between the lighting effects between these games. Look at the costume lighting between Fallout 76 and Fallout 4.
No.
it is only online serves, it is not full game, empty space, booorning when you got 70-100 lvl or maybe early...NO POINT PLAY IT AT ALL
I never played it at launch but gave it a try recently and now I'm addicted, well worth a try
I think the lack of details in the game is due to the fact that it is multiplayer, to handle the amount of players that can be on a server, either that or Bethesda is lazy, which wouldn't make sense since it was just about getting everything what is in Fallout 4 and put in 76
I will always support single player, online games ruin the industry.
No, either can ruin the industry
Look at what recent half assed 60$ single player games have been made and online games can improve the industry like Left4Dead or team fortress 2
I get they're basically the same game with some of the same mechanics, but you're comparing a single-player game to a pseudo-mmo. It's like comparing Skyrim to ESO.
Actually catrige cases can be seen in Fallout 76, or at least in most of the weapons
I noticed that the character shape in FO76 Kinda nerfed than FO4.
Agree
Thats like comparing GTA V and GTA Online 😅 Same game, but with multiplayer
Well, you can say, at least GTA online wasn’t sold separately like it was with Fallout 76
GTA online is a GTA V dumb
@@GameLight this is sold separately because the original core of the game is not designed for multiplayer lol, and let's be honest, it's still a separate part, not just a 4-part map, but in network mode.
Both game for idiots, not even finished products... its sad your generation playing this kind like trash and call it a game...... And NO nothing to comparing here... VS series of Fallout
if you both played f4 & f76, f76 is far better than f4. unless you're just into mods, then f4. vats in f76 works like an autoaim. no slowmo for obvious reason. npc are essentials. again for obvious reasons. crafting & camp building in f76 are easier. also, f76 has the biggest & most beautifully designed map from all fallouts.
pero tiras una granada y los npc's del restaurante ni se mueven jajajajaja me parece lamentable, juegos sin detalles=caca
I don't care about the multiplayer aspect of 76 whatsoever. So for me, 76 is just a game that has been compromized for zero benefit. And there is a LOT that is actually compromized, much more than just some smoke and decal effects.
Most of details would look way better if they used Fo4 detail.
Especially, vault suit look so weird for me
Actually, each vault has its own suit for its own tasks.... The residents of 111 shelters do not need elaborate costumes as they should have been in cryogenic sleep. Yes, good graphics for a network game is good, but even with such graphics, the game does not work very stably with a large crowd of people.
The effect of falling is different with/out jetpack 💀
3:44 I hate to have to defend 76, but the smoke in FO4 doesn't exit from the muzzle, so I think it looks better on 76. And now I'm going to take a shower, because I feel filthy for having to actually say something nice about 76
Mention of which fallout is not visible enough in the upper left corner specially when the background is lit.
Fallout 76: Better if want to play multiplayer
Fallout 4: Better if you want to play singleplayer
That's... fkin deep bruh! 🤯

Whats the song?
I like the Fallout 76 Vats as it keeps you flowing with combat as vats beforehand felt like a sudden hault to the gameplay flow. Take that from someone who has played every 3D Fallout game
Hello, how do you get the pistol weapon harness from the fallout 4 video or what is it called and how do you get it? If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.
Its not in the base game (as a obtainable item) if your on console you can mod it in most likely same on PC
@@deetheottsel hi i play in ps5 you now the name of the mod ??? For to search
2:04 fake, diamond city is the biggest point in the game and it can't happens
I have different result in my vids it seems your Fallout 76 graphics is not max out or at least running optimized for graphics output.
Water effects isn’t rights your pc is lower quality?
How can this be compared?
Why did you show Fallout 4 at sunny weather and Fallout 76 at night?! It's a bad comparison.
Some of these are more due to the online nature of the game. I really liked the draw distance in 76, it’s a huge improvement over 4.
Who people to think the power armor dissapears, this stacks on your inventory
76 has way better bullet holes. It makes total sense for it to pierce the thin metal of the car. Also what a letdown they made such great bullet water effects then completely ignored grenades.
Fallout 76 has lesser detail to save resources as it is an online game
basically 76 has the visuals, 4 did everything else better tho
You also have to factor in that Fallout 4 is a single-player game, and Fallout 76 is a Multi player online game.
The smoke effect is more in F4 because hoy are using ángel automatic gun (i think)
you didn't even use an RPG for water physics in 76
Fallout 4 will probably remain one of the best Fallout games personal opinion. I love 76 as well. I feel like 76 has the best world map and the enemy variation is insane in comparison to every fallout game. I still run into things I never fought before in fallout 76. If you don't have a series X then it will most likely play terrible though.
The fact that logic trees still have Leaf in 76
Appalachia was spared the worst of the nukes apparently, it's a nice change to see some greenery in some areas IMO
The fact that it was already explained is what makes comments like these hurt so much.
nice bro you should try the tv show to compare if you can
It would be cool, but they’ll take me down for copyright 😄
Comparing these two is weird. One is single player only and one online only. Fallout 4 is more immersive, Fallout 76 for those of us that got bored alone lol.
76 definitely has the most varied and interesting map, even compared to the older games.
Idk how long fallout fks things up but Apalachia got off easy, Boston got smoked.
Playing 76 over 900 hours. Still can`t get enough. 4 has very different mechanics, impossible to compare. It`s like Homeworld vs Stellaris. Cmon
Power armor system is far way better in 76 than 4. I don't like having to drop my armor and not being able to save it in my inventory... Everytime you want or need it you have to come back to it
I hope they bring an attention to detail update someday.
card perk system in fallout 76 is sick. I just love it design and functionality.
it's not brainer when you compare a single player game with an MMO
They took the cake away from my character 2.5/10 it just didn't give 0 because of the rest of the game
There is no longer a whole bakery 😄
Fallout 76 feels very stiff and fallout 4 is more fluid and lively with the movements
Absolutely. With mutations it's even worse. You move fast af and jump high without the animations to compensate for it lol. it's super stiff and ugly.
video could've ended at 40s
who is better? the one wich VATS stops time.
0:32 uuuuh it's normal... F76 is a MULTIPLAYER game
Idk why but time slowing down to shoot a enemy is like dead eye in the rdr games
Treea and weather are more conditioned in fo4 because the bombs didn't impact appalachia as much as Boston
at 1:10 the power armor physics are swappe the better one is fallout 4
fallout 4 is fine for a single player experience but 76 is a whole online community, its a survival game youre literally living in the world of west virginia.
the jumpsuit on 76 is one of my favourites so far
It is comparison within fallout 4 rules
Time doesn’t slow down because if Someone had glasses that showed that time wouldn’t slow down it’s realistic
To be honest both games are really nice equal
If one is online and the other is not... thats the end of the comparison... they aren't equal... period.
Ur comparing a online game to a single player game somethings are smaller and not in fallout 76 to prevent server lag fallout 4 is single player so doesn’t have server lag
You can take advantage of the fact that vats doesnt slow time in F76, making a hell of a damage in short time.
