- WE DID IT!!! My 2011 Ariel Atom @PFIBrent built the new engine for made 550HP on the dyno! Before it was maxed out around 475hp, now it's built to hold way more power and we're staying conservative around the 550 mark. Apparently the new engine build could hold almost 900HP if we do all the supporting mods. All I know is I'm so excited to drive it and hopefully make some monster 1/2 mile pulls again. Huge thank you to Brent and the team at PFI Speed for making this monster a reality.

That is death trap levels of insane. The power to weight ratio is the same as having 1500hp in a 3,000 lbs car. Needless to say... I think you would have been fine on 91 octane gas.

Bit of advice
Put r spec tyres on it all round for the road
Keep the rears for the strip!
I have a turbo westfield that is very fast and wont go out without decent tyres! When the turbo hits it needs bulk grip at 600 kgs.
Put bloody good grip on it and you may live through it!
And enjoy bloody good fun!
Slight improvement from the initial 184 hp. 540. Looking forward to seeing how it does all strapped in and lit up!
