Matt, i just wanted to say that towing companies have always had a bit of a negative image to the public, but you and the crew are doing so much to turn that all around for the better. What a great group of people you guys are.

Thus these franchises have a set price for any regular tow - like getting your car unstuck from snow still costs you 200€ if you're paying it yourself. Joining a franchise is practically a life or death choice for any towing company, so they can't have their own prices unless the customer calls them directly. The end result is that tow services are expensive and they're called when there is absolutely no other option. Also some wrecker drivers think that they can act vile because the customer can't complain if they want their car out of the ditch. How much of that stems from customers treating us as trained monkeys, is another thing... Luckily majority of my work is collecting cars for recycling.

I can see how the kids and dog's respond to Matt he's alright in my books. It just seems like being in the life and death situations you show up for in remote areas with bad weather at times it sure would be nice to have a family with dog's and a bad azz jeep and plenty of smiles and I'll bet hugs at times. Someone’s boss is not happy. We use a 7/8 x 30 bubba rope with the soft shackles. Works every time. At times a pull pal for self recovery when nothing to anchor winch to. Love ur videos, keep em up!
Been really binge watching your videos the last few days. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and wondering how I would handle the various situations that you find people in. I won't try to second guess how you actually do it because I'm not there. I'm sure there are things I can't see that effect your decision. I'm just glad you do what you do. Keep up the good work!
I did that too! Wasn't a scout then though and was only 2 people backpacking. Pretty area. I lost it on that lava flow and fell down, landed in marshy area with stinging nettle. Camped on the cliff edge looking down on Zion, winds 50-60 mph over night. Headed out super early and did Angels Landing, then down into Zion..
@@trellend We had a lightning storm come in and quickly set up camp down off the ridge, but a rainstorm and small flash flood washed a couple of tents down the hill a ways. Everyone was fine but it was a scary time.
And don't believe everything a GPS tells you, no matter how sexy her voice sounds,, my wife says that they have us so well trained if a sexy voice saying drive off a cliff we do,,, ha
I think GPS stand for Get People Stuck! Same thing almost happened to me, GPS was taking me down a fire road but pulled out an old paper map and realized was way off from where I needed to be.

I needed you today, Matt! Got my super duty stuck in a leach field. Took an old school Dodge Ram and a Duramax to pull out the truck. Buried to the frame.
first trip last oct to Utah did Arches, Canyon Lands, Bryce, Zion had a vrbb in Hurrican then to Sedona love the scenery you film Matt. That Jeep of yours is truly amazing, I guess its the yankem ropes as well, oh I must say your driving has much to do with these recovery's too. Way to many to count I suppose. The one thing that you do is travel quite far sometime, and much or most of it is not on paved roads but the things they call roads in Utah, so travel is not real fast. I would not want to be the people who return their rentals in quite different shape than when they first picked them up. Usual rental you drive thru and they take pictures of the vehicle, but they must also record the underside as well. keep up the good videos of the predicament people get themselves into.
Legend has it the glass company was out in the desert looking for a low cost way of making glass, because they heard the sand was made out of the same stuff.
So I was at Sand Hollow today. Never been there before. We were cruising along in our side by side and we see this rock that Matt almost got stuck by. We start talking about it and then I almost get stuck and my son says sweet maybe Matt will come and pull us out. To funny! Sure love the vids. I did want to see the Banana. Keep it up.
