Is there anyone else who would rather jeff reacted to the music videos before the stages and dance practices? I feel like he misses a lot of key details from lyrics and context that would help him understand why a choreography is a certain way or why the stage is decorated in that way. Also because that way he can completey focus on vocals before dance!
Examples are Seventeen's home and recently Straykids' god menu. He didn't notice the door opening move in the choreo in home or any of the food and cooking related choreo in Gods Menu. Of course thats okay to miss somethings we are all human and not wired to compute every second but i wonder if he saw all the cooking and doors in those music videos he would understand the choreo better?
Now that you mention it, i think this is a really good idea. I believe this is mainly how other channels do it too?
Yeah I’ve been asked this before. I know what you’re talking about. I will reflect on it! Cause the meat of my channel is the choreo aspect I feel like so I want to start with it right away. It’s rare that the choreo is very specific to the stuff in the video -from what I’ve seen anyway.

A Heavy Metal live performance? I am intrigued. I will have to look that up. I know Kai performs the Scream in the the Korean version and Kris did it in the Mandarin version though not as well as Kai did. Screaming can be really hard on the throat if it's not done properly.

If you want to see more from Baekhyun's dancing, I would recommend watching a live of his solo song Psycho, but also the special stage of Monster where he has a solo dance break, and it is also the case for a special performance of Tempo!
This was the era where Kai officially became my main bias wrecker. His dancing is too much. And that red suit is just 🔥

As with most of EXO's songs and MVs, the song and the story in the MV are two separate things. There are two messages that the story tells in the MV. Yes, the story in the MV is loosely based on the lyrics of the song,, but the main point of the MV is mostly to tell another part of EXO's story and to help explain what they are doing here on Earth as part of their mission.
Part of EXO's mission is they are constantly fighting against and battling the Red Force for control. The Red Force is thought to be here on Earth inflicting their evil agenda and corrupting humanity and causing all the bad things that are happening in the world such as war, hate and destruction of the environment, etc. While on their quest to locate and protect the Tree of Life, EXO is also tasked with trying to fix everything the Red Force has caused. And because EXO is trying to undo and prevent the Red Force from accomplishing their goals, the Red Force is also trying to take down EXO by capturing them, corrupting them and standing in their way, etc.
In "Love Shot" I'm not sure why they first ended up at the gas/service station or the cinema/movie theater, but the story in this MV is all about how the Red Force is trying to corrupt and control them. You really need to look up fan theories of this MV to understand what is happening because, for example, supposedly, most fans agree, that Xiumin may have been captured and cloned by the Red Force. If you notice Xiumin is squaring off with a group of guys with guns, but a few seconds later we see someone with a mask and when the mask is removed you see that it's Xiumin. And when Chen is sitting in the theater watching the film, you see what fans agree is probably Suho, as the leader, trying to protect the members and prevent Chen from watching the film which is thought to probably be the Red Force trying to control EXO with whatever is playing on the screen, etc.
The members are fighting to discover who has been corrupted by the Red Force and who may not be who they say they are, etc. so they are very suspicious pointing their guns -- which are filled with alcohol -- at each other. (Get it? the song is called "Love Shot" so it has a double meaning: Love Shot like a gun and Love Shot like a shot of alcohol. :D) This whole MV is part of EXO's origin story and it is a big part of their storyline.
The flowers have two purposes, one is they represent Love and EXO is collecting love, but also the flowers are a big part of EXO's storyline. There has been a flower theme that continues throughout all of EXO's MVs. The flowers are thought to be something that EXO is collecting and trying to get rid of to prevent the Red Force from being able to control people, etc. They often collect the flowers and then burn them, like you see in "Love Shot" and "Hey Mama." Blue roses also have some sort of significance, but I am not sure what yet -- we see EXO with a blue rose in their concert performances of "Lightsaber" and we see Sehun with a blue rose in "Love Shot." Some of what happens in this story is explained by past MVs and other parts will hopefully, be explained as the story continues in future MVs.
You might not notice Baekhyun a lot, but he is actually one of the main characters in EXO's storyline so he is featured a lot. He is often the one that stands alone or is highlighted in the story of EXO's MVs. If you watch their "Power"MV then you might notice that in that MV Baekhyun has been singled out and is sort of separated from the other members. Which seems to suggest maybe Baekhyun is the only member that hasn't been corrupted by the Red Force. So that is why in "Tempo" and in "Love Shot" we see Baekhyun standing on top of the building looking down on the rest of the members, almost as if he is observing them from another dimension or from another time period. Baekhyun is often the main character in a lot of EXO's storylines, who is going behind the sense to help EXO. For example we see him disguised as a member of the police to rescue the other members from the back of the police van in "Monster," etc and we see Baekhyun facing off with Xiumin when Xiumin removes the mask in "Love Shot."
:D If you want to see more of Baekhyun dancing then you need to check out more from EXO-CBX.
But you should also know that no one really knows for sure what is happening in any of EXO's MVs. There are well known theories and storylines that are accepted within the fandom which we think might explain what is happening in each MV. And there are theories about how each MV is connected and where each falls within their larger storyline, but nothing is set in stone. As we have discovered with EXO's latest installment of their story with "Obsession," fan theories are constantly evolving and changing with every new piece of the puzzle. For example, now that we know about the X-EXO members -- which were introduced in their most recent "Obsession" MV -- it has completely changed what we thought we understood about EXO's "Power" MV. Everything that has to do with EXO is just one big mystery that SM has been crafting since the group's conception, more than 8 years ago. It's our job as fans to try and piece it all together. We only hope that someday SM will reveal what it all means so we know whether our theories were anywhere close to being correct.
Unfortunately, to make it even more difficult to understand, each part of the story is not necessarily in chronological order, so we as EXO-L (EXO's fandom) have to become detectives and analyze every aspect of all of their teasers, MVs, song lyrics, albums, choreography, sub-unit projects, solo projects, concert VCRs and even live performances and piece it all together to understand the story behind it all.
To help you pinpoint the powers being used in their MVs and live performances here is a list of the members and what their special power is.
EXO-K
💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeo) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. That's why as the leader of EXO, his stage name is Suho)
💡Baekhyun is a main vocalist and his superpower is the ability to control light
🔥Chanyeol is the main rapper and lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control fire and his spirit animal is the phoenix.
🌏D.O. (Do KyungSoo) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control earth (dirt) which gives him strength/force
☄Kai (Kim JongIn) is a main dancer, lead vocalist and sub-rapper and his power is teleportation. (Kai means door or gateway in Korean so his stage name symbolizes his role within EXO's storyline.

🌪Sehun is the youngest member of the group and he is a lead rapper, lead dancer and a vocalist -- his power is the ability to control wind
EXO-M
❄Xiumin (Kim MinSeok) is the oldest member of the group and he is a lead vocalist and lead rapper and his power is the ability to control snow/ice (frost)
🦄 Lay (Zhang Yixing) is the Chinese member of the group, he is a main dancer, lead vocalist and rapper -- his power is the ability to heal anything.
🌩 Chen (Kim JongDae) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control thunder/lightning/electricity
(As you can see, Xiumin and Chen were given stage names that sounded more Chinese so they would fit in better in EXO-M because they are the Korean members of the Chinese group)

🐉 Kris was the leader of EXO-M and he was a main rapper and vocalist -- his power was the ability to fly and his spirit animal was a dragon
💭 Luhan was a main vocalist and his power was telekinesis (The ability to control things with his mind)
⏰Tao (Z.Tao) was a lead rapper and vocalist and the martial artist of the group, so he did the flips and stunts in the group's routines. His power was the ability to control time
Exo always perform live (and end up being more amazing than the studio versions hence why I listen to live concert albums more lol) and very rarely rely on the backtrack. And yes, D.O had hair in this era. 😭😭😭

You never experienced the excitement of the group members being all together, of waiting for comebacks or the heartbreak when members left ( we literally cried) I love Luhan a lot. I understand why he left but I was really sad. And although the remaining members tried to be strong you could tell it shook them. It was hard to watch. I haven’t attended any concerts yet but still the excitement is just awesome relating with other Exo Ls. But it’s ok, you can catch up by watching all their shows and interviews. It’s not the same I know but it’ll connect you with them. You’ll be able to see their transformation and how they got to be where they are now.

Kai in that red suit went viral in Korea and every dance cover had to have someone in a red suit and also around that time a lot of idols started wearing red suits in their mvs. I'm proud that Kai have that type of influence in the kpop industry not the fist time and definitely not the las time this gonna happen also everyone please anticipate Kai's 1st solo album
