An excellent place to eat, or to shop their bakery for that sweet item you are looking for, or maybe one you hadn't even thought of.
Everything looks great! I only wish Der Dutchman would add ham loaf to their menu even as a "special of the day"! :)

At first when this guy arrived it looked like a nursing home for the elderly, but upon going inside all the baked goods looks great & the buffet looks explicitly well with a good presentation.
Yes, we love their baked goods. They have a very good selection, and a lot of great things. They also have a restaurant behind the bakery, which is very nice.
I myself enjoy (and always have, always will) good, old fashioned Amish food.. I admire their cooking skills.. I once watched a lady peel 20 potatoes in 10 minutes.
Always go here when in Sarasota, a favourite of ours. Thanks for uploading....

Yes, this place is very large, and very nice on the inside. We always make a trip to their bakery, every single year when we're down here.
They have a restaurant and a buffet, as well.

This looks like a really nice place. I have seen several videos of Amish restaurants and bakeries but none were even close to being nice like this one. I was hoping you would get the Lemon Fudge, I would love to know what that taste like.
I did sample it, and it was actually good. Might get it next time, but those peach cupcakes were probably my favorite.

I havent found any amish or menninite,guy or girl, working at either of these restaurants!!
What is your issue with this place? Are you just wanting to try and stir something?
And if you think Siesta Key is free, I don't know what to tell you. We stay on Siesta key, and I've never stayed for free.
And it's "Mennonite".
not the same, unless you go to a northern state in the fall. Too hot and not Amish looking at all.
You'll have to take that up with them. We like it. Don't know what else to tell you. It's actually more Mennonite than it is Amish. They've still got some good stuff, it's a nice place. We are going to continue to go.
