I loved Legos and C64's! I got rid of both when I was 15. My dad had a heart attack and I didn't know if he would make it. So I decided I had to grow up right then and there. I sold all my trading cards and my hot wheels at my yard sale too. Today, 20 years later, my dad is still around and I love to see what I missed out on through these videos. Thanks!

C64 and Lego combined is like.. wow.. We are so proud of Lego here in Denmark.. LE-GO -> LEg GOdt -> Play Well... Interestingly, “lego” is also a Latin word meaning “to gather or collect”, which is somewhat fitting, given what their most popular product ended up being.

What a world we live in where we have virtual Legos now! I actually really like the idea-- unlimited pieces, none of the hassle of finding that one piece among the rest or stepping on bricks in the night-- but then, that was part of the nostalgic Lego experience, wasn't it? Kids these days are gonna grow up having never stepped on a Lego XD

I'll have to confess that I did long, wheezy, old man laugh at the 'number 9 dilemma' as a Lego veteran having encountered it in the past as a kid. I love Lego and enjoy the fact that my daughter likes it too so it's another chance to play with it!!
Epic project tho and would've love to have been able to do something like this in the mid/late 80's when I was heavily into Lego but probably 80% of the custom pieces available today didn't even exist.
I was rather fond of the transparent pink for some reason and I'm not one for favouring colours.

Oh My! As a kid in the late 70's lego was my pride and joy - I loved it to bits! So much fun and imaginative play. My sister was taken to Australia on holiday with her best friends family and as "compensation" I went on a week long computer camp hosted at a University in my city. I learned BASIC on a BBC Model B... Some months later, having gotten a love of computers (and maybe due to some pestering) my parents bought the family an Atari 600XL... of course I became it's primary user and ultimately I think they got sick of the clutter in the living room and it found a home in my bedroom (and I got to have a TV in there too - also VERY amazing as a kid in the early 80's)... My collection grew and of course one of my pride and joys was my C-64. Ataris hold a soft-spot as what I cut my teeth on for advanced learning and use but the power of the C64 for graphics and sound (and gaming!) was superb. In the meantime I did get into Technics lego too...
Long story short - the things I held dear as a younger child and early teen were lego and a C64... and here they are combined in this video!
Thanks for yet another great piece of content - those weeks of work were thoroughly appreciated by myself and I am sure I am not out of place in saying... thoroughly appreciated by many many others too! Well done that man!

I see you're aiming for a specific colour, but what about visiting a flea market and picking up a shoebox or two of random lego parts? Just for testing purposes, you could go crazy with knives and pliers, scratching a prototype is more acceptable when parts get stuck, and it would speed things up with final build. I think people would dig mishmashed colours too.

Just chatted with Lego customer service online. Asked if they would do new molds for keycap reproduction. It will help so many vintage owners. And perhaps they can make a line of sets called "Vintage Computer" or something like that. I gave a link to this video.

If anyone one could sell me the ultimate in lego computing it is you with that voice. It was an amazing video and honestly think an outer shell in the same style should be made as a replacement for aging systems because it looks both retro and modern at the same time.

Add a extra mini 64 inside that mini lego 64. Then you have the 64Ception
