When we want a slice we put it in the microwave for 1 minute on power level 4 (your microwave may vary)....perfection.

Gloria, I try to do for my viewers what I'd want done for me. I hate having to chase around looking for someone's recipe. I realize it's to drive people to their blog or website in order to make more $$$. I just don't see any sense in making you jump through hoops. It's takes a good bit of time to type it all out and these are all recipes I've tested many times, some of them are years in development. I have to write every, single recipe. I don't copy and past them from some other place. I'm also VERY picky about how my recipes are written. I see how other people write their recipes and I shudder. I wonder how anyone can read them and get the dish to turn out right. I'm want to be very clear and precise so you have the best chance of making a delicious product that comes out exactly like the one I've shown in the video. Thanks for mentioning this. Your Blueberry Banana Bread was a big hit! Not only with my family, but also with my boss who wants your recipe ASAP! She said she has never tasted bread this good and this moist! I went to stay with my brother in Virginia for the family Christmas party. He turned down a cooked breakfast for a slice of your bread. Needless to say, the bread never made it to the party. LOL! You can make it ahead of time if you like. It freezes great. Not more than an hour ago, my husband took a slice out of the freezer, popped it in the microwave to warm nad had it for his p.m. snack. He said it was fabulous!

I just made one regular loaf and a small bundt pan “cake” and they turned out so gorgeous!…they smell amaaazzzing as I wait for them to cool a bit before turning them out! I chose to leave out the cinnamon this time and since I had some turbinado sugar in my pantry, I sprinkled a little of that on top and they are over-the-top beautiful! I just started following you a few months ago Katzcradul and even though I’m in my 60’s and have known how to cook for most of my life, I am learning so much from you! Kathleen, thank you so much for your comment. I try all the time to make my channel better without spending a lot of money. Right now, we're using Prepper A's old cast off android phone to video. It doesn't have cell service but the camera is better than what I was using, so we keep it charged up and are using it to make my videos. I want to get an external mic but that has to wait. We were putting A's phone in a piece of foam rubber I rigged up with a rubber band on top of a tripod when A was still working the camera. When Palladin Prepper took over videoing responsibilites, he said that set-up was totally unacceptable so I just order the actual piece we need to ligitimately attach the phone to the tripod. I hope it keeps my cameraman happy.

You just *make-do* with what you've got. 33,000 subs can't be wrong ;) When I couldn't hear every word you were saying, (and that was not just with your videos), I invested $100. in the best speaker system I could hook up to my laptop. So, it's not entirely your fault that I could not hear you. ;) I just knew that you have valuable information to teach me, and my old ears weren't cooperating. I hope you didn't take that wrong, because I would NEVER say ANYthing to hurt your feelings. I have never thought of buying the prepackaged fresh berries and freezing. What a great idea. I noticed you froze them right in the original containers. Since they have air holes in the containers does that cause any issues?

Sinking berries are not too much of an issue when the batter is this thick and the berries are frozen. You will notice, before I cut the loaf, that blueberries are visable on the surface. Thanks for watching and commenting.

If you're going to add lemon, ditch the cinnamon sugar topping and drizzle with a thin lemon/powdered sugar icing. Add the zest of the lemon too!

You just *make-do* with what you've got. 33,000 subs can't be wrong ;) When I couldn't hear every word you were saying, (and that was not just with your videos), I invested $100. in the best speaker system I could hook up to my laptop. So, it's not entirely your fault that I could not hear you. ;) I just knew that you have valuable information to teach me, and my old ears weren't cooperating. I hope you didn't take that wrong, because I would NEVER say ANYthing to hurt your feelings. I have never thought of buying the prepackaged fresh berries and freezing. What a great idea. I noticed you froze them right in the original containers. Since they have air holes in the containers does that cause any issues?
No issues. They're fabulous! You're going to love the conveninece of freezing blueberries this way.

If you dust your blueberries with a little flour first, they won't sink to the bottom of your loaf. 😊
Sinking berries are not too much of an issue when the batter is this thick and the berries are frozen. You will notice, before I cut the loaf, that blueberries are visable on the surface. Thanks for watching and commenting.

OHHHH EMMMM GEEEEEESH!!!! Kat!!! This is BEAUTIFUL! It looks sooooo good! Can ya tell I'm excited? LOL Have Mercy!!! Bananas and blueberries are my FAVORITE fruits! You'd think as long as I been baking I'd have thought to combine the two and I have not. I am also a cinnamon sugar nut so this recipe just made my LIFE!! This would be lovely served for holiday breakfast. I'm like you, if I'm making a bread, I'm making two! I just made my yummy zucchini bread last week. A girlfriend of mine has never had it and I tell you, I think she almost wet her pants with joy! Hahahahaha She thought it was a savory bread because of the name. LOL Believe me, she refused to leave without the recipe.

This looks so amazing, I can't wait to make this, Do you just put your blueberries in the freezer in the original container or do you put the container in a Ziploc bag?
I put the container directly into the freezer. No need for a Ziploc bag. The blueberries stay perfectly plump.
