I used to have an extremely simplified version of a spiky pomp (sides cut #2, back and top cut but front longer, slicked upwards in a ^ shape) but I've been growing it out and really admire the japanese pompadour style. Still trying to grow to a length for a standard pomp but I keep trying different things every day with product and different combs. Thanks for uploading
This fellow loves to put a lot of this greesy kid stuff in his hair every time I watch him comb his hair, displaying these products in the way and manner that he displays them.
Ngl I’ve been needing this for years. Every pomp tutorial or anything is always meant for white people hair, so for years I’ve just had too much product and flat hair purely because my Asian hair is so fine yet strong, so truly thank you so much for this❤
I am a barber by trade, and I can appreciate ANYONE who takes this much time, and uses this much product to style their hair! Rockin' that pomp to btw!! 😉
Yeah, but not to be mean here, however with all this greesy kid stuff and hairspray he piles and sticks in his hair, and he puts a ton of it in his hair, will he have his hair when he gets much older? As a barber, you should also know that when you do use these hair products, you use only a small application in your hair, as a little goes a long, long way, and with every other day hair washings only once a week applications of these greesy kid stuff products are all ya need. The wet head is dead.
@@danbasta3677 like i earlier stated, I'm a barber by trade, we love to "sell" products, not so much trying to shampoo and cut the hair w this much product in it. With all that said, i can still appreciate ANYONE who spends this much time on their hair! 🙂. Trends come and go , vanity hangs in there!😉... Oh, and rarely do you see an Asian dude that's bald, (not saying there isn't any...just sayin') and they have extremely healthy feeling/looking hair.
I‘ve been rocking a pomp since around last October through the help of your videos and I love it, but since spring came around and the weather got pretty hot my pompadour starts hanging down and my hair starts poking my eyes after only a few hours after styling. It really bothers me, since I would hit the perfect hair form just for it to fall apart. I have rather thick hair that can be stubborn at times, especially if it‘s getting longer than 11cm at the top. I use different products than shown in your videos because I don‘t like my hair looking too wet. The products I use are: - a spray to prevent my hair from being damaged through blow drying - hair wax for the sides and back of my hair - Strong hair spray for the front part of the pomp The way I comb my hair is with a roller and the heat of the blow dryer making some type of half cyrcle around my head with all of the frontal sides facing into the center of my head. No amount of strength of hair spray can hold my hair, I‘ve also tried using gel as some kind of hold from within the hair, but it doesn‘t always help since the hair would fall into itself again. I‘m sorry for the pretty long text, but do you have any tips regarding my issue?
Hah, I think I found my problem! I think you mentioned in your video not to blow your hair „into the skull“, but to to try to comb it into a semi-cyrcle. So, in other words, my problem really was that my hair would collapse under it‘s own weight, since it was not distributed nicely. If you‘re reading this, thanks for the video!
Hello, i have seen your instruction video on how to do a Rudolf Valentino hair style and i would like to know how to do the Hercule Poirot hairstyle from murder on the orient express 2017. I would realy apriciate it. By the way you make the best videos on hair products and styling on youtube.
now get your bomber jacket, your face shield and your baseball bat you and the boys gotta a biker duel with the red dragons down in old town tonight!.....i'm sorry i had to, great pomp btw, thinkin about doing one for halloween for a greaser costume, but my hair is REALLY curly, like, roman, cretion curly, like lancelot from the 2004 king arthur movie lol so it's hard to tame
Bro, it's fabulous. Gorgeous, but even. I commend you, but damn I don't know if I want THAT much product and time dedicated to my hair. But I will certainly take your tips into account next time attempt it. Tell Okuyasu I said what's up
Wow, that's such a life accomplishment, you deserve a medal. Seems like you don't understand the point of this video. This is the Japanese method which takes more time, and you seem to forget the fact that talking to my audience slows it down as well. I also don't think you've checked out all the videos on my channel yet where I typically style faster than you do ;)
Time to be probably beaten up by delinquents
Thx for calling me out
You know that’s right.
I lose half of my strength without my pompadour
Yep that's me
