I have been a barber for 12 years and never get bored of trying to learn new techniques, this guy is a very good barber, he can adapt to cut many different styles and isn’t just all about fades, I love watching him work and have learnt a lot 👍
I never thought I would watch the full 30 minutes but this is just so inspiring! What a work of art! This is a free online masterclass. Also really cool how you emphasised the importance of using a traditional oil based product. It's really essential to the look and the old school experience. Investing and learning how to use those products, and thereby dismissing the convenience of a washable product can be a struggle but it also builds character and is really satisfying.

You do great work as a barber, but the haircut took way too long. The haircut was done along time ago. You kept going back doing this and that. Not necessary. Get the guy out the chair already lol

Your thoughts on the Pomade usage was very helpful as well. I‘m in my last of three years of apprenticeship in a male clients only hairsalon in Germany and honestly... your videos and pictures of men’s haircuts made me pick this craft. I hate coloring and perms, nails and make-up but in a few months i‘ll „graduate“ and it‘ll be cutting only for me! Thanks for helping me find my talents and thanks for all the inspiration! Yes! We want barbers who know the arithmetics of sectioning hair, who say they want the customer to look as masculine as possible, and who are doing better pompadours than Elvis ever had! We do not want hair dresser salons, gender-neutral haircuts or hastly done cuts.
I don’t even know if this technique/cut/style is something you can effectively teach or if this is something you can only learn organically over the course of a long, illustrious career. This barber is so in tune with his client’s hair, style, look and what needs to be done to get the look he’s trying to achieve that he makes it look simple. It’s not. It’s just NOT. He’s a master.

I dig, good job. I’m trying to decide on barber school or cosmetology. I have short hair and I love the 50s styles and a lot of the current stuff like fohawks. I can never find a salon or anyone for that matter to cut my hair the way i want and I feel like a lot of the women I’ve tried are not up to date with the styles these days and I feel if you want something done rite you gotta do it yourself lol but honestly i love hair I love cutting and coloring . I need a career and I feel like I can provide what these young cats want these days. So I’m leaning towards barber more after watching this video. My friend Brandon actually sent me this video cause I was asking him what school he went to and what he learned and he sent me this to watch. It was great and its inspiration for me. I liked and subscribed my dude.
I was happy when my client walk inthe salon today and show me simular or it was maby the same hairstyle on his fone of this haircut. I try for the frst time it came not so bad 😅 But it’s fantastic haircut and the sistem how you explain the section etc. I can use to a different time of cutting also I loved it ❤️❤️
