Thanks Chris I wrote it down step by step... Hopefully tomorrow I can pass my last assessment ..The Diad v training . It was so hard...I just gave up. But I know I can't start training until I pass this.
Chris I'm really focusing on your videos.. but I failed it again.... I feel like giving up but I know that's not an option.. I can't start driving without passing this.... I sat on that computer for two hours...The diad training is really long... I'm better at hands than looking at the computer...I'm going to keep trying.. do anyone is it some kinda practice written diad test online?
Keep making videos, do you still work at ups? Im a new driver would love any advice and tips for the diad!

How can take lunch from 11:00-11.30 and break from 11.00-11:15? How is that possible?

How’d you even get to that screen. You should start with the Diad off. So people know how to get there.
That screen is what is left after all your packages have been delivered in your EDD screen.
Thanks Chris on that punch out video, when you get some time can you do a video on how to do a prerecord on multi stops but one drop location. Your videos r so helpful!!!

Wow so after punching out it basically shuts down or restarts? I thought I messed up when I did this.
Another question: did you actually return to building at 17:21? If not, that could be considered falsifying. Don’t know a single driver who can do a complete turn-in in 4 minutes. Post trip alone takes longer than that!
I wanna know where he delivers where he returns to the building at 5:30.

I’m in Intregrad and after four days in class I’m still as confused about the Diad as I was on day one. It’s the most un user friendly hard to understand piece of crap equipment I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I’ve passed everything else but if I fail the course tomorrow it’s because I can’t remember the time wasting steps to do the most basic things like punch in and out. At my old job it’s as simple as entering your employee ID then tapping a icon to clock in to start getting paid. If I fail the test tomorrow I won’t have any regrets for not understanding it. UPS should teach the Diad the same way we practice and learn the Five seeing habits and ten point commentary. Teach you two to three steps and repeat that a dozen times, then add a few more steps then back to the beginning and repeat and add more and more and keep repeating it without all the long stories in the web based training. If I could rate the Diad on Amazon I’d give it a negative five stars if that were possible.
Preach! Seriously, fuck the DIAD. Amazon drivers have a very user friendly motherfucking smart phone that does the scanning. It's a no brainer to use. Why can't UPS spend the money and ditch the sorry ass DIAD (Orion as well)?
XxGyromancerXx hahah I hear you. Orion sucks. I'm actually a loader not a driver, I'm not of age yet but the 3 drivers I load for have all been at UPS for 30+ years so they all just completely ignore Orion and as a result so do I. I load the trucks based on the street address which drives my sups mad but makes the drivers very happy 😂

I just finished my DIAD & computer training for package driver and I'll be flying out from Knoxville to Atlanta for Intergrad training on Oct 28th-Nov2 and I am nervous as hell about memorizing my 5s(word for word) and 10s...any suggestions!?
@@upserlivinthedream unfortunately I'm horrible at memorization, I got them down being in the safety committee and asking/correcting Q and A.

Katie Crumley Weaver I’m at the La Vergne hub also in Tennessee. You need to have your 5 seeing habits word for word not the 10 point. The 10 point bold is word for word but not the paragraph beneath so you can shorten it. You will also need to demonstrate the 8 Yard Rules, 8 Lifting steeps, and 5 backing rules. I’ve been studying for two weeks and will be going in the middle of November. Good luck.

There videos are for people who have had experience with the board and with these videos I expect you to have watched my prior tutorials.

Because wrong info into DIAD purposely is considered “falsification” and a reason to get fired. UPS knows everything. There are over 200 sensors in a UPS truck and DIAD is basically a daily OJS and if you input info that doesn’t match, a red flag goes up. You’re not doing anyone a favor by trying to make #s look good if you’re lying about it. Simply do the best job you can- an HONEST day’s work for an honest day’s pay.

My worry is he’s showing the wrong way to punch in info. Students suffer when a teacher fails.
@@linozovich4840 I have worked for UPS over 5yrs(going to Intergrad next week) and I agree about UPS knowing everything. However, it's the package driver's choice to follow his(Chris's) methods or the UPS work methods they teach us concerning safety and the DIAD. If you make poor choices, you get poor consequences. If you make good choices, you get good consequences....It all boils down to not believing everything you see. Follow UPS work/safety methods and you won't fail. Integrity and honesty is everything where I'm concerned, especially when it comes to my UPS career. I have always said ,what others do is between them and God but in this case it's between them and their career at UPS. I choose to follow UPS's safe work methods and using my DIAD how UPS trains me. If others choose to half ass their punches, then that's their own shit.
I hope you don't take my comment as being a bitch, bc I don't mean it to be. I just think people should know right from wrong .

EXACTLY! UPS pays us and we have to follow their methods, not make up our own to make our #s look better! For what? A pat on the back from Supervisor? More work and less allowance? Same guy patting you on the back will be kicking you out the door for not using their methods.
100% right, girl! Use their methods and you will NEVER, EVER have to worry about your job!

Why aren’t you putting break time in break/lunch screen? Why is it other work??
Just ensures that it makes it into timecard.
Doesn’t make sense since lunch shows up on timecard, why wouldn’t break? Same screen and same report.
Lino Zovich you don’t have to do it like he did. I just put my 1 hour lunch on there 14:00-1500. Most of what he did is confusing to new drivers. There’s a simpler way .
