Great video! Thank you so much! It was very helpful! However, the one screw that makes you say naughty words wasn't on my fuse box. There were 4 screws holding it in. One under the dash and 3 in front where the side panel goes. Don't worry though, I still said a few naughty words just not for that one screw.🤣🤣🤣 It was pretty easy actually. The hardest part was getting it out after it was loose. Thanks again!
Hey great video, I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty and it just rained and some how water got in the car but only on my drivers side where the fuse box is and I can’t roll down my windows, when I lock my car it used to make a sound so I can know it’s locked and flash the lights and it doesn’t do that anymore, but the light flashes now so i guess it’s drying out but how would I fix it
I just bought a liberty with a bad BCM, this video helped me remove it from my Jeep. You mentioned in the video that you were repairing this BCM. Do you have a video on that by chance? You do have some good facts scrolling, they were a little distracting to me though. I was reading them instead of paying attention to what you were doing. Haha
Yeah sorry mountain man I put them fax in there for just that reason it’s unfortunate but it actually increases my numbers on my channel we only make about 2/10 of a cent per view so you have to get people to watch for as long as you can. Personally I do like the facts they come in super handy in social situations especially when you don’t know anybody you have something to talk about. So really trust me if you remember any of them they are very helpful And yes as far as the BCM goes I do have video of it I have not edited it yet. And I have not put it up. It’ll probably be a week or so before maybe even longer before I get it up but I can tell you this from taking it apart it’s pretty simple you look at the little tabs on the side and you gently take it apart you may find what your issue was on the inside. If you subscribe welcome to the channel God bless have a great day I’m glad to hear the video helped you
@@sharpcarco thanks man, I will definatly subscribe. And I figured the facts were a ploy to get more watch time clocked. Haha it worked for me, had to back up several times and rewatch.
No more than likely it is the accordion between the drivers door and the aaa A pillar Open the drivers door pull the rubber back and you may find a broken wire more than likely you will from the door opening and closing so many times over the years. Hope that’s helpful welcome to the Channell have a great day
Well there’s like 18 wires inside there so even though some of them are working properly other ones are not I say it’s worth a look it doesn’t cost anything it might not be the problem it just sounds like it’s possible generally BCM’s don’t go bad like that I would probably look elsewhere at some thing that could wear out overtime
I think there’s a manual down in the description of this video that will show you how to do the flow of diagnostic. I don’t know off the top of my head or I would tell you it is quite possible.

My dome lights does not turn on with opening the doors or with the knob. Could it be BCM ? All fuses checked, steering knob replaced, lumps are good.

@@sharpcarco Thank you for the fast reply. I will search for a broken wire. When i open all doors and trunk too I get a message DOOR OPEN.

I have a 2010 jeep liberty and the alternator will not charge
So there was no need to reprogram it..correct? What year jeep. Thanks
This was a 2006 , no programming
Very easy to remove that fuse box (congratulations to stupid Chrysler's engineer)
I know what a pain in the arse!!!! At least your corn store don’t hurt and you can fill good you did it yourself
I have a 2002 jeep liberty, my headlights, wipers, radio, interior lights and locks dont work would that mean the bcm is bad?
