Thanks! The interior wiring is killing me right now but… I’ll keep going till it’s done. I’ve also got an 85 C10 that I’ll need to do at some point in the future.
Great information. I work alone on my projects. Very helpful how you get through all these "never done this before" tasks. Same here. I do plan on changing a fuse box on a '79 Pontiac. Mine is a little crusty. I will be sure to look for that screw. Thanks for sharing your efforts.
I know the feeling! Well, keep following along, if you can. I finally finished the rewiring project and all videos are up (except testing everything and troubleshooting any problems!) Thanks for watching
I was screaming, uselessly, about the center bolt for the fuse box. I bought a kit from another company, but i have been completely unhappy with it. Constate Hot wires were not, and Ignition wires always hot. I'm pulling it all out and trying again.
Ha! Yeah, as soon as I started editing the footage… there it was. But I’m almost done with the interior and it’s getting better. Been pretty happy with Painless so far
I'm not completely positive but the 57 does not have a fuse in the headlight switch do have one with the fuse and it did come in my 55 Also the 57 dimmer switch wires stay on the inside. I have done 57 chevys I'm doing a 57 now..
Interesting. It might also depend on the kit you get? Not sure which one you have. I bought the Painless Performance 10102 Harness with 21 Circuits. And that one did come with the book.
Re-wiring my 70GranSport soon… Im glad I found this! Thanks!
There are more videos! Completed the entire car and I’m about to test it out and troubleshoot next
im about to start the wiring for my 85 c10. very helpful videos you made here!!

@@Rustrevivalgarage youll probably have no issues with the c10 after finishing the Pontiac. Good luck with the interior and i look forward to the vid!
Nice job! I’m learning a lot from your presentations. 👍🏻
Thanks! Not sure I’m a good teacher but if you can learn from my mistakes… awesome! 😂
you have been a big help i am wiring a 74 chevy P 20 in MN ,,thank you
@@StepvanDan You’re welcome and good luck! It’s not always easy but it can be done. I’m a little more than halfway through the interior.
Brother! I am so impressed with your willingness to just go for it!! I go into panic attacks just looking at the wiring in my 93 jeep yj. Stay strong!
Yeah it’s still not easier but… one wire at a time. And thanks much! Starting the start/charge wiring this week!

Thanks for the content, I’m installing the painless wiring kit on my 89 mustang
Awesome! I'm finishing the video today with the engine wiring and the start/charge system. That will be on the channel this weekend!
I love wiring... LETS DO THIS!!!! Great video!!!!
Can I fly you in to do it for me?! lol Thanks. Like I said, passed the point of no return...
@@Rustrevivalgarage Dont tease me like that, cuz I would to escape the summer heat of Arizona!!!
@@ArrowheadGarage I've lived in a dry heat in Cali. You don't know fun until you're sweating in the shade from the humidity!
Im a wiring guy too lol.
That's the way to do it brother just dive in and get it done
Yeah, going to be a challenge. I thought the fuse box would be the easy part! Ha! But I have to do it now!
I was screaming at you, trying to let you know about that bolt between the engine bay plugs but I guess you couldn't hear me....
I think I heard so much screaming from so many people, all the voices were drowned out 😂. But I gotta learn the hard way sometimes
I’m at the same point in my wiring replacement. And still waiting on parts…

I was going to mention the bolt but you already cut it all.

Apparently painless no longer offers the that nice looking book your using for the rewiring all they sent me was a pdf 😢😢
