    If I'm not mistaken, that is actually the builder's model for RMS Britannic. At some point, it was modified to resemble Titanic, but the B-deck windows are a dead giveaway.

      Yeah the yellow line below c deck as well.

      That's why the model used in the movie "A Night to Remember" has a lot of features from Britannic, they used builder's model as a base

      as I understand it, this is the original shipbuilders model and as such has represented all three ships. As a result it has features from Olympic and Britannic, although when renovated it was of course restored to look like Titanic.

      @@mccpcorn2000 so its a designers hodgepodge that most likely had the advanced lifeboat dropper modeled onto it, that is now lost as its been restored to look like the ships originally were

      @@joelanteri414 that's actually on the olympic, or was, you see it in her last video when she's getting sent to the breakers, with the ship that was commanded by the guy who was in charge of the carpathia behind it, the one who risked his neck to save all those people despite the danger to everyone onboard, himself included
      like he was asked to send off his ship one last time, and maybe command it to the scrappers, and what was infront of it
      the olympic, the sister that survived all that time, plus getting torpedo'd and ramming a Uboat in WW1
      as I remember the stripe and wondering when did that get added?

    Did you visit the old white star line offices in Liverpool? Where Bruce Ismay had an office? Or the old Cunard offices? It’s only a short walk from the museum, less than 5 minutes.

    Hi just seen the video , I'm from Liverpool and still a seafarer today , as has been mentioned by others , don't know how much shore leave you had , but yes Albion house the white star headquarters at the time of Titanic was about 3 minute walk away still an impressive building .
    In front of that on the strand at the pier head is the magnificent former headquarters of the Cunard line who obviously merged with white star line . Also a 15 min local train ride from the city center is Waterloo where you could of gone into Captain Smiths house , then walk along Marine crescent to Thomas Ismay founder of the white star line beautiful house .
    But glad you enjoyed my home city . But regarding the Titanic connections there is so much more . You really where spoiled for choice being a big Beatles fan and being a entertainer

    I am planning to write my own Titanic Story about these two ten-year-old cousins who sailed on the Titanic and both survived the nightmare of the shipwreck with their own courage and witts and their broken friendship but with great cost obviously meaning they survive but their parents and older siblings did not and the sinking of the Titanic brings the two cousins together.

    I sure hope when it comes to touring outside and inside the titanic I like to see the turbine and electrical engine rooms on the very bottom of the ship where the propellers are that would be cool.

    Yeah don't take it the wrong way but I subscribed to this channel for updates on the game I backed-up.
    Not for personal vlogs or political views of the members of the team supposedly still working on the game.
    So either please move these to your own personal channel or make it clear that this is the path the channel is taking so that I can unsubscribe and look for updates on a game I increasingly doubt will ever be released somewhere else.

    • @throughthelookingglass5973
      @throughthelookingglass5973 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A lot of videos on this channel are not video-game related. Even when Tom Lynskey was still on board. In addition, they use this channel yearly to replay the Titanic's sinking on her anniversary. So I don't know what's the big deal.

    • @mesittinhere

      @@throughthelookingglass5973 I think the big deal is that we were told last year the alpha would be released in Q4 of 2021. We are now halfway into 2022, I've donated money, and we still don't have a game. Now, we see more videos of trips being taken. I think it's fair to state things like this now.

      @Rybanez120 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      As a fellow supporter, you and everyone else that’s been complaining are welcome to unsubscribe and check in when you care to if you can only want to see status update videos about the game. this is a volunteer based project and donations are welcome, not required. People have lives, and did you know that two things can happen at the same time - as in someone on a volunteer project can take a work trip for their real job and the other members of the team could still be working on the project in the meanwhile? He has said countless times that he is working on the ship that has enabled him to take this once in a lifetime trip. He has shown video of him doing so. Learn to appreciate the journey not just an outcome. Sometimes good things take a while, especially labors of love. I appreciate hearing about the stories behind the creators and the path to creating this game. If you don’t, go outside or play another video game.

      @@Rybanez120 Thanks. That pretty much summons up what I was about to say.😉

    • @___David__

      @@Rybanez120 if you're talking to me, you completely missed the point. My point was simple: this channel is for Titanic and the game we've all financed.
      These vlogs are just about one random guy in the team and his life. I don't give a flying flamingo about his work on a cruise ship, or his "personal journey". This isn't his personal channel. That's what personal channels are for.
      If the THG channel now serves to fuel the private vlogs of individuals in the team, I'd like to be told that with clarity and honesty.
      I've been tolerant enough with this game team. But I don't want to give ad revenue to the personal projects of individual members of the team. It's that simple. At least Tom had the decency of opening his own personal channel for this kind of stuff rather than use the main channel.
