You have nailed the carbon filament orange glow from the electric lamps! Well done!!
Exactly! 👍
*tantalum filament, it was warmer and reddish than “modern” carbon

I remember a woman (little girl in 1912) interviewed and she mentioned you could smell the new paint.
Some 2nd Class passengers mentioned about the fresh and WET paint over the ship.
@@PauloVictorAlves1920 indeed the ship was docked in Southampton and worker would go in the ship finish last details
*Lead paint 💀
@@blakegriplingph thats not a problem unless you start eating it
@@ketaminepoptarts you're telling me after all these years I shouldn't have been snacking on paint chips????
It's crazy to think something this beautiful was sitting on the bottom of the ocean looking exactly like this for some time after the sinking.
In a perfect world, but there is a possibility of much of it being mangled from the impact at the bottom as that is what did in much of the other parts of the
Stunning. The sensation of the ship moving as well as the sound effects changes the vibe completely!
She truly was a beautiful ship; such a shame that she never got to fulfill her purpose as the ocean liner she was meant to be..
Must be the return voyage to get such a sunset :)
How would there have been a return voyage?
You're right :o Nice catch!
How about the delivery voyage from Belfast to Southampton!
Sea trials & delivery voyage very likely from Belfast to Southampton.
@@jpenca09That’s exactly what I thought!!
There really are no words to truly describe this. Words like "stunning" or "incredible" are gross understatements, but I don't think there's even a word for this, so they're all I have to offer.
So true.
Expensive stateroom
Here's why the Titanic's story will never die: (1) she was the largest movable man-made object of her day, (2) she excelled in luxury appointments, (3) it was her maiden voyage (of all voyages), (4) there were many celebrities of the day on board, (5) there was already a lot of talk about all her features before she was ever launched (including the whole "unsinkability" talk), and (6) the Titanic is considered the first ship in living memory to be sunk by an iceberg. The Titanic shall always be in our minds despite herself; unlike the ship itself, the story remains unsinkable
Also, it makes an excellent allegory about pride, so people repeat it even when those original context elements have faded. People may not remember the celebrity passengers, but they will remember the story of the largest ship in the world, deemed unsinkable, which sank on its maiden voyage.
Well it was Olympic that were the famous one before the sinking. Titanic was just the copy with some tweaks.
Songs : Londonderry Air and Over the Waves
Isnt it also called danny boy?
@@saidend3393 yes.
Unreal, yet beautiful.
Love this suite! A lot of people think Ismay stayed in it, but it was actually the Cardeza family. Ismay stayed in the port side suite.
These private suites were beyond beautiful. Wow! So much lavish attention. Amazing. Titanic was a really beautiful ship. She will never be forgotten. I'm a big Titanic nerd.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh my days! This is just simply stunning. Can’t wait to sit & watch the sunset from the private promenade… loving demo 401.2 … I just can’t put into words how grateful I am for bringing us to Titanic .. such a beautiful experience to wander this grand steamer. You should be so incredibly proud of your work. Pure perfection ❤
I liked that the reflection on the glass from that portrait looked like those old glasses that distorted the image a little bit.
This is Beautiful. I got a similar feeling like I did walking through Mt. Vernon in 2005....VR is definitely going to make history not only alive again but it is going it safer.
I am SO looking forward to the full release of Project 401 on Steam! This looks, and sounds amazing! Thanks for the look.
😮😢😢😢😢😮
OH if only things were beautifully still designed like this!!
This is astonishing wow!
This simulation keeps getting better and better! But the more realistic it gets, the more some earlier artifacts now stick out. For the next round of improvement, can you please do something with the flowers (and the dining room napkins?). The floral arrangements look like they're made of painted tin; (and the dining roomnapkins look sharp enough to take out an eyeball).
Jealousy is a vile trait
The attention to detail is truly amazing
Ι have dreamed thousands of times to be in that suite on that trip (but saved from the water after heroically assisted other people to get to the boats).
Simply amazing. Gorgeous. Just outstanding. Can't wait to see this in vr one day.
Thanks for this tour. Lovely rooms.
Nice to see the starboard side Parlour Suite, previous expeditions always looked at Ismays B52-54-56.... Starboard side got barely looked at if at all. $4350 paid in 1912 money by the Cardeza Family (Charlotte & son Thomas).... Big spenders, compared to the Astors who stayed on the cheaper - by comparison - C Deck 😎
Question: Did Ismay have to in fact pay for passage to travel 🧳 I always figure since he was managing director he could travel 🧳 for free on his ship's? 3:17
@@jamesfracasse8178 I'm sure, being Managing Director, that was comped & he didn't pay for travel. I think he got the suite by default, believe JP Morgan was going to travel but was ill & couldn't make the trip....
The lighting and reflections are a HUGE improvement.
I found these stats here quite interesting : Col Gracie was the first adult survivor to die (December 4 1912), Lookout Reginald Lee was the first crew member to die (August 6 1913), Joseph Boxhall was the last officer to die (April 25 1967), and Michel Navratil was the last male survivor to die (January 30 2001). Then, of course, the very last survivor to pass away was Millvina Dean (May 31 2009).
👍👍Spectacular lighting and details! Can't wait until TH&G adds realistic engine sounds. Of course, the crème de la crème will be adding life to the ship. Even having a few non-interactive passengers strolling about or enjoying a meal, along with some crew members going about their normal tasks, would add the next dimension to the already stunning experience.
Perfection.... These details!!
As always, ABSOLUTELY magnificent. I had to go to full screen so that I could experience true grandeur in its' proper glory. I bet using those VR glasses with this would feel like you were actually stepping around the ship at the height of her glory.
I have to wonder: the 2 embarkation doors - were those for the "special and personal use" of the occupants of the suite? Where they could board and disembark directly to\from their accommodation, an extra little bit of special and exclusive treatment to separate them from the "common, ordinary" first class?
I also wondered the same thing about the embarkation doors. I've never noticed them before.
Absolutely great! But maybe include the other rooms of the suite too?
Looks beautiful! Good work.
This is absolutely stunning!
Absolutely amazing.
Now this, i like!
Amazing work!!!
Beautiful music too, and the sound design is very evocative
The lighting, shadows, and reflections in this are near perfect. I always felt the lighting in Demo 401 was too bright and too high in the light spectrum.
I agree! I found the best exposure on demo one is -1 at high contrast for the interiors.
Derek is an ARTIST
That's the Cardeza's sitting room and private promenade deck.
I know, I wish it was Ismay’s. His was on the other side.
Cardezas’.
@@abcdeshole But I wish it was Ismay’s. Especially since it was the sitting room of Rose in the movie.
@puterboy2 he has that room on the port side of the ship.
THG going all out yet again! 🙌🌟💯
Beautiful
Amazing work simply amazing detail
The level of details are just...STUNNING!!🙌😍♥️✨
Beautiful! But, where's the rest of the suite?
Well!
This is where Dawson should have drawn Rose.
Looks brilliant
wow, this is incredible
The fireplace was famously filmed by Jim Cameron in his 1995 expedition of the wreck (footage of which ended up in his Titanic film). I don't believe Cameron went back and explored the suite again in 2001 (or 2005). He did go into Ismays suite on the opposite side of the ship from the Cardezas.
This is why I'm a Patreon
A quite interesting story I've heard about Ismay is that around the time "A Night to Remember" was released in November 1955 Walter Lord got a letter from someone in England about the remarkable finish at the 1913 Derby in Epsom Downs. Craganour, the favourite, crossed the line first and was escorted to the winners' circle. Then, without a protest from anyone, it was placed second to Aboyeur. Craganour, Lord's correspondent said, was owned by Bruce Ismay, and I guess it doesn't really need saying that the horse racing establishment would never let his horse win the hallowed Derby after what happened. Walter Lord then went to check the story. Everything turned out to be accurate except for one important detail. Joseph Bruce Ismay didn't own Craganour. His brother, Charles Bower Ismay, did. Still, Craganour remained placed second to Aboyeur. The reason? Craganour's original jockey had been replaced by an American one, Johnny Reiff. I don't know why that was but the move was regarded as immensely unpopular, and at the end of the race during discussions the judges had a golden opportunity to discredit Reiff. Walter Lord, though, said that he still got letters afterwards still linking Bruce Ismay and Craganour together
I might actually cry when the full thing comes out
Very cool! I think the wood plank floor has too many scuffs on it for a ship on its maiden voyage, but otherwise spectacular! I read the other day that tickets for this suite cost the equivalent of $133k dollars. The info I read may have been several years old too, which would make it a decent chunk more than that.
Ticking clock sound and lighting 👍
That's a lot of furniture in the private promenade deck. Were the occupants planning a party?
will B52- 54- 56 be released soon?
This is amazing
I wanted to see the bedroom!
This is heaven for me
This is amazing. How did you research or find out how the engines sounded? You can understand how jarring that would be when they suddenly stopped
I bet my ancestors would’ve preferred this over the “coffin ships” my gg grandmother described to my grandmother.
3:58 The heating is useless out there, I think.
I didn't know there was a door on the outside wall. Was this for crew use?
If I recall it was for private access onto the ship, Instead of entering through the main foyer. Remember these suites were the most luxurious & being the most expensive they’d have been intended to be occupied by the rich & famous who may have wanted a discreet entrance to their rooms (no different to todays elite).
I’d love to walk around on this boat in VR
Las dos Parlour Suites del Titanic 😍
Is “Oh Danny Boy” playing?
Would be funny if you could see a guy with an old video camera from the reflections of shiny surfaces and mirrors
Perfect.
I wonder if it was possible as an occupant of the parlor suite to board the ship directly through the doors on the private promenade.
I'm curious... Would the clocks in the cabins have ticked? They were all electrically driven by he master clock in the Chart Room.
They definitely would not have made a sound like the one heard here. The internal movement received an electrical impulse from the master once each minute. That's all.
This is so wonderful….I wish it was Ismay’s sitting room. We need it.
When will this game be released on steam ?
I'm gonna cry
amazing.... guys i want the whole Titanic explorable in VR . Just do it on ps5 and i'll buy you the experience 😍 top
The sunset 😭💔
Nice 💯💯💯
I'm amazed at how realistic this is and also that we can see something that exists only in digital format. Does anyone know if the artwork on the walls is based on documentation or just styles of the time?
I swear, i didn't see one single fingerprint! The cleaning crew needs a raise!
Is ray tracing going to come back in the final game? I remember the old demos had it and mirrors looked AWESOME.
Scary real... Whoa...
Looks more realistic than my house.
Rio Grande do Sul is going through similar moments here in Brazil. May God help!
The maid can sweep up those dead palm leaves.
Now please do a video of the potato room.
With Al could you recreate the people that actually used this suite?
When is sunset Mode and night time coming out
in project 401, which release date hasnt been announced, you can search for demo 401 v.1.4 which has a night mode
Couldn’t have been steaming for New York yet. If they were, the sunset would ALWAYS be In front or ahead of the Ship. Heading West to the USA, The Sun always sets in the West, so they’d be facing the sunset!
En route from Belfast to Southampton, or possibly outside Cherbourg?
I think one day we could use VR and walk through the Titanic and touch things.
Touch maybe in 20+ years, some kind of sensor receptors on fingertips
So what is the paint smelled new .does wet paint smell really nails reason of purpose that one should pay too dollar suites for just wet paint.? Its weird if u ask anyone ordinary
it almot looks like someone travelled back in time to film this.
When can I play this?
Hey Honor and glory crew. When the game is ready can I visit all cabins?
And open and close doors

Fun fact the 1st song actually played in the 1952 titanic 2 times in the movie. It is one of my favorite titanic movies and not trying to be rude. It's a lot better than james cameron's version

Such a beautiful ship sad it is deteriorating
