For as long as I've loved the Titanic, roughly thirty years now, it never occurred to me how fascinating the mechanical areas and crew spaces would be; accessing the crows nest, the anchor chain workings, main engineering, the rudder control mechanics and so on. You've taken faded old blueprints and grainy black and white photos and literally brought them to life, so vividly that you can practically smell the shellac and fresh paint, the machine oil and coal smoke.
The term "masterpiece" doesn't quite describe what you've accomplished here. Work this epic can only be called "historic".

HOORAY! I am absolutely jumping up and down! I have worked as a docent on two great ships - RMS Queen Mary and USS Iowa - and I KNOW what I am looking at. Everything, everything, EV-ER-Y-THING is there. I recognize these machines. For "below decks" types like me, this is (yes) vastly more exciting than the Strauss cabin, the Lounge, or any of that...partly because these are spaces we have NOT seen in photographs. I am absolutely beside myself. As an artist and animator, let me add the art direction and technical execution is spot on. Also: while we are waiting for B deck in the Alpha, this goes FAR beyond. Clearly, there are vast areas of Titanic that have been realized; this is a breathtaking revelation of just what THG meant when they said "everything". They meant everything! The joyful Irish music sounds the proper tone, here; I am ready to hoist a glass, dance, and sing. I am so pleased, and so proud of all of you for doing this service to history. For the love of Pete...just...HOORAY!!!

Having spent (quite a bit) of time in the previous demo, I have no idea if a compelling game is forthcoming, but this incredible model of the Titanic, and the ability to experience, from the inside out, an Olympic class liner, makes this work historically very important. It’s one thing to see pictures, or watch it depicted on screen, but it’s entirely different perspective when you can connect the passageways and see the design of the ship as a whole. When seen, even if only virtually, from that perspective, it drives home the true scale of the tragedy. This is an important development effort that’s more than a mere game, it’s the recreation of a place and time, allowing us to see what they saw, connecting us to event in a way that was impossible before this work.

WOW!!! that is stunning, I never even thought that below decks was anything as complicated and organised as this. It gives a whole new dimension to the ship.
It's not all glamour and mahogany , it's pure hard work and sweat, and men working together to achieve something amazing.

I played around with this demo for a few hours last night. Very cool, but I do have one little bit of constructive criticism. The devs seriously need to work on the optimization. My PC has an i7-10700 processor (8 cores/16 threads); GTX 1660 Ti (6gb VRAM); 32gb RAM; and M.2 NVMe SSD. I can play Red Dead Redemption 2 at 1080p resolution with High graphics settings and maintain a steady 60 frames per second. And I can play Doom Eternal at 1440p resolution with graphics settings on Ultra and maintain a consistent 60 frames per second. But my PC seriously struggles with this demo - even at 1080p resolution and graphics settings dialed down to *LOW* .
I mean no disrespect. This demo is amazing. It just needs a lot of work with optimization.

Every time I'm astonished by your work on this ship, I find another video which shows something I haven't seen yet. In this case, the coal bunker interior, the anchor mechanics, the ladder to the crows nest and the coal bunker fire. I also was wondering how the spiral staircases looked like which were used by the firemen and also by crew members investigating the damage shortly after the iceberg collision, in order to not set the passengers in panic by running on the Great Staircase.
Whenever I saw some photograph on the net which was comparable to your game, I compared them and found every detail is correct. E.g. the clock (or what is this round thing) at the back wall in the Swimming Pool room sits in the upper right corner, like on the photographs taken on 10 April 1912 by newspaper reporters, and even the font on the depth gauge up to "6 ft" in the pool is the same). Now it has come to the point that whenever I want to know what a certain area of Titanic looked like, I use the Honor and Glory as a reference, knowing that I will not find a better and more historically accurate source on the net.
Ah, and by the way: without viewing the Honor and Glory videos (and some other videos on Titanic), I would have no real clue of the ship. In the meantime, whilst not knowing thousands of details, I would be able to walk through this ship (if it existed as a museum) and have at least a notion on where approximately I am - and what is still to explore. Honor and Glory is sort of a compass and map which helps us to really experience the ship, much more than by just the movies (which are great but of course much less informative).

Two good ideas for the game: 1.) after the iceberg collision, the player gets the option to convince the captain to use collision mats. These are used on military ships to stop leaks and, in an emergency, mattresses can be used that are lowered to the ship's side with a rope attached. 2.) The player gets the option to close all open portholes as well as to close the opened D-deck door. By doing so, the player delays the flooding of the ship and the sinking is prolonged - perhaps long enough for the ship to remain afloat long enough for the Carpathia to arrive. Then the player helps to ferry the passengers with one of the boats. In my opinion THAT would be the most exciting game, the most meaningful from a human point of view. That would be what I would have tried myself on that fateful night.

I've been obsessed with Titanic since I was a kid and saw 'A Night To Remember" back in the 60s. I wanted to build a model and simulate the sinking in a swimming pool. Here I am now.

Thank you guys, for have shown us this part of the Titanic! I never found images of what kind of accommodations, or other sort of things inside the bow castle of the Titanic! It was always to me a mistery! Thank you so much for this video!
And a funny thing: The Hawse Pipe of the Titanic, since I first watched the movie, got me so many curiosity to know what was that, and I came to find out, only in 2020! And today I saw what were the things which were underneath the bow castle! Awesome video!

I hope there will be some kind of free roam camera. its great to walk around Titanic but having an ability to capture of view like youre laying on the floor looking up would be grand like a staircase 😁

I had my suspicions it was related to the forward crew area (the secret area), but I didn't think such a large area of the ship would be added in full (more or less)

This is the most modern looking part of the ship, because it's undecorated- just utilitarian surfaces.

Good Soundtrack, Respect! Nice too, by the Noise at the End. Boilerrooms from Game Titanic Adventure Out Of Time, a Great Game. I like the Omarge.
