I’ve developed an iron stomach! Nice to see you so happy! Very appropriate response from your wife. I think Hershey isn’t what they make it out to be. If you have children, it’s a great place to go. I was there years ago. It was okay. But the two of you make a grand time of anywhere you go. Plus it’s very expensive. But you make any place fun!

You can't expect much for the off season
It's too hot and crowded in the summer, we used to take the kids but soon realized it was not worth the money to wait in line for rides and overpriced generic park food.
Hersheypark’s food has come a long way since French fries and ice cream as some of its few food choices. My grandmother was one of Milton Hershey’s secretaries and my mom was a seasonal employee-a “Furry Tail,” long before dancing candy bars. It was nice seeing you cover this, Mike!

When I was a kid the tour was actually in the factory. You would walk by the big mixing bins, completely immersed in the chocolate smell.
BBQ chocolate sauce isn't supposed to be heavy on the chocolate, it's supposed to be a background taste because if it's too strong people didn't buy it when it was first bing developed
When I was a kid you got to walk through the actual plant along a walkway they had built for tours. At the end of the tour, everyone got a bag filled with all the candy bars they made! I remember they made an M&M type of candy which was not available in the Pa, NY, NJ area. It was an awsome special candy to get only after a tour
Everything looked so good now I'm hungry. The bass how flaky and delicious looking. The chocolate funnel cake is a must try for me. Thanks for sharing your dining experience with us.

Haven't been back to Chocolate world or Hershey Park in a while but that was definitely the place to go when I was a kid! Used to love the tour ride and theme song at Chocolate world! Although lol it looks like it changed abit since I was a kid. Food was also amazing at Hershey hotel the one time I went there! Glad you made it to Hershey! 😁

We just left the chocolate world and The Chocolatier! The wings and the cheese sticks were great! I loved the burger and the chocolate factory tour
They changed hershey park a lot and that little ally way wasnt there but thats for when people want to sit and eat their funnel cake! You should have gotten the reeses funnel cake more resses chuncks, peanut butter sauce and chocolate sauce with whip cream. During winter season limited rides. Season pass with all summer eat and drink plan is worth your money if you're planning on going there a lot through the summer. Should tride the crab pretzel and their fries with their cheese dip from chickies petey. Their fudge store is worth going in. You'll get your moneys worth in the summer time.

Yeah, PA amusement parks main season is really only until end of August, maybe September. After that the weather is cooling down and a lot of the staff working the parks is high school or college students that go back to school.
Well I wasnt expecting that, but that Hershey burger looks outstanding. Had to comment on that one.

If you are ever in the Lancaster/ Intercourse area I highly recommend going to Stoltzfus Meats and Deli in Intercourse. They have some great sandwiches! I love the Amos Super Melt and the Twisted Turkey.

Hershey park is the best but it looks like you went on Friday night during Christmas that is usually the best night to do all the rides during Christmas Saturday is when more food things are open
