The only problem is, South east asian wants economic partnership while US want to have Military alliances.
And I think South east asians knows what will bring prosperity to its people, business or Wars.

Hard to say. SEAsians grew up brainwashed by Hollywood, altho that's everyone, but specifically they're very brainwashed and West-worshipping. Their leaders are smart tho, but the average person loves whites too much

@@dunzhen Ya because the average person does not know that the privelage and life standard the west are having is at the cost of the well being of the rest of the world.

You are right there. Majority of SEAans are brainwashed by the west. They think west is superior and look down on their own culture.

@@dunzhen Those that are brainwashed by Hollywood or the media to hate China are often losers in real life. They worship the West without seeing the decline.
Good news is that those losers have no say in politics or governance. Economics and pragamatism will overcome whatever those losers got to say.

Money talks. No money no talk. Everybody values and respects their Biggest client and largest Customer. Formerly, this was America.

"Come back with an economic game plan"? What economic game plan? The USA can't even build HSR in their own country, nevermind in SEAsian countries. If the USA really wanted to develop SEAsia, it would've already done so in the 75+ years of hegemony they held over this world after WW2. Even if the USA used the excuse of the Soviet boogey man to explain why they couldn't develop SEAsia, they still could've started SEAsian development from the 1990s onward when the Soviet Union fell and China was still dirt poor, but the USA never did. Instead Laos' new HSR comes from China, not the USA. The fact of the matter is that the USA doesn't want to develop any country, because how else are they going to remain the hegemon, if not by keeping everyone else dirt poor and underdeveloped?

what do you mean professor.. when you say the US should invest in Asean.. a few months ago you stated the US just talk and talk and really does nothing.. the US is struggling to keep the pretence that they have real money.. they don't.. they are technically bankrupt.. get over it..

    • @fungames24

Why can't they print some more money and invest them? Their paper money is as real as everybody else's and has a greater credibility than the rest.

    • @danh_dang7912

@@fungames24 USA do print more money . But they use this green paper on something else. USA did return back to south east Asia but with her strongest military navy only, not their money.

    • @CalvinK300

That’s exactly why Kishore is urging US to do actual investment rather than ‘talk and do nothing’. For one, join the economic pacts. Compete with China economically otherwise countries will have no choice but pivot towards China. Oh yes, one last thing, it is supremely naive to think US is technically bankrupt or have no real money to invest.

How can America invest in South East Asia ? It's already in $31 trillion Dollars in Debt. Unless you want Americans to export guns and fentanyl cuz I hear they have alot of that.

How come according to Li Keqiang ( 李克强 ) there are still 40% of Mainlanders living bellow USD5.25 per day?

    • @walid7885
      @walid7885 2 ปีที่แล้ว +17

That says a lot about how much room China can grow. And they are growing. The Chart trajectory shows no signs of stopping. The west in the other hand is stuck and look like in decline collectively. The US is a mature economy that has peaked and can really benefit from a boost from taking advantage of east-Asia and China growth.
But they won't. This why China will be number one soon.
