Steve I think your channel is the only one I watch that gets the audio levels right.

Hey Steve. These are nice looking on the outside. However, the dash shape seems a bit overdone in my opinion.

I have a fully loaded Ultimate Santa Fe that is 2 years old and I see they didn't do the biggest update they needed to do, add Nappa leather, that is their biggest faux pas, it is literally the number one reason I wouldn't get one again. I'm also ticked off they won't update mine and add Apple CarPlay.

Nappa leather? ITS A HYUNDAI DUMMY! And apple CarPlay basically came out in 2017, they cannot just update your software like that. Like please do not say these things because they are stupid.

Do you prefer this Hyundai Santa Fe or its cousin Kia Sorento?

I like the Sorento better but the Santa Fe is a little bit bigger

I wonder what the carplay issue was.

When my phone was connected via USB, the system wouldn't let me listen to the radio...only music on my device. It would glitch like it was switching sources until I unplugged it and plugged it back in.

It was redesigned fully for 2013 and got a refresh for 2017, thats average for the auto industry.

Grow to 8 passenger and get a new name... Sounds more like it will be discontinued and replaced with a new larger vehicle. Don't they already have a mini-van that can do 8 passengers? Seems like a segment they won't do well in. Hyundai's are the cheap smaller alternative vehicles whose prices have been slowly creeping upwards.

YODAddyLIVE Hyundai already tried selling a larger SUV than the Santa Fe a few years back called the Veracruz and it was a flop. It will be interesting to see if the new larger SUV succeeds or not.

      2018 Hyundai Santa Fe
The popular Hyundai Santa Fe is going to be moving up the scale, and will become a full-size crossover that seats 8.
It will be given a new name so that there is no confusion between this one and the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport.
The latter of those two will also be larger and adopt a look more in keeping with a Jeep.

      Hyundai B-segment SUV
2018 Hyundai SUV model rangeThe first vehicle, a B-segment model, should hit the market in 2018, and may be given the Intrado name, which was used for a concept model a couple of years ago.
The yet unnamed small Hyundai SUV has already been spotted testing in the US and Europe, and we expect it to reach the local Hyundai stores sometime next year, labeled as the 2018 model.
      Hyundai A-segment SUV
A smaller A-segment model would follow sometime after, but since this is a new announcement, the details are non-existent.
      Hyundai Tucson SUV
That will leave the Tucson right in the middle of the range, although it too will get a little larger, although probably not for a few more years.
      All-electric Hyundai SUV model
Hyundai also plans on delivering a 200-mile SUV, and a Tucson fuel cell vehicle.
The plan is to have this line-up in place by 2020, which is the same timeframe for a total of 14 green vehicles Hyundai has planned.
Many of the green vehicles will come as the new crossovers are introduced, and new generations brought in.
