Thanks for the tip about taping over the terminals.
Mine was arcing through the throttle cables & shocking me through the bars.
I thought the coils were faulty, but after taping over the terminals, it's all good.
No more sparks & no more shocks. Cheers.

Thanks for the video. Good to see a few solutions you came up with. I had a question regarding the Dyna coils: mine have come with out a mounting bracket. Did you manage to re- use the original mounting?

Hi I did but it was a very tight fit, I will double check over the weekend as I do recall it was not easy to use existing coil bracket.

Were these actually Dynatek as I suspect they're a slightly different brand?

Did you put the wires facing down? I put mine facing up and the intake isn't going in well.

HT Leads facing down, to avoid any rain getting in etc, you have to cut the air intake feed pipe about half way. The airbox pipe that comes out is large and it wont fit well like you say if you have these coils. The air box pipe is long for one reason, it stops the bike sucking in water if the radiator cap pops or boils over.

@@shammon1 thanks for the quick reply! I didn't want to cut the intake if it didn't need it, but I suspected it did. Might get creative with a guard for the rad cap, but cutting is quick enough for now.

Did you find it ran better

@@dell5338 Yes, it starts better and smoother, wish I had done it earlier. Transforms the bike totaly runs so much better.
