It felt so good to hear you say your baby cluster feeds non stop! No one believed me when I said that about my baby, everyone thought I was just a tired new mom! Nursing baby upright helped my boy a lot too
omg this is mostly what’s happening with my newborn! so glad to hear this. it’s just heartbreaking and frustrating not being to alleviate baby’s discomfort ☹️🥺 not to mention im a first-time mom. in our case, baby also has silent reflux.. sometimes she’d wake up in the middle of her sleep with the urge to throw up something ☹️ when we got to the doctor she advised us to cut out dairy products except for plant-based ones and try side-lying and laying baby on her stomach for a few minutes before fully laying her on her back at an inclined position. she also advised me to pump a bit of milk before nursing baby to avoid the mild choking..
Try to see if he has tongue tie or lip tie our pediatrician miss diagnosed him but a lactation consultant said that he had severe lip tie and that helped enormously once we had it revised
hi guys, the greatest info that ive had was with the Fergs Treatment Crusher (i found it on google) - definately the most helpful method that I've tried.
Thanks for this video. I've been really struggling with helping my baby with her reflux. The doctor put her on medicine, I cut things out of my diet, eventually switched her to hypoallergenic formula and she's a little better but still has reflux so at her 2 month appt I'm going to ask the Dr to put her on something else or increase her dose or something. Poor girl is even uncomfortable when she's sitting upright. I also find it annoying when people say "oh just you wait this is nothing" well you try settling down a colicky newborn for hours and hours day in and day out. It's not easy.
We had the same problem with our baby boy. Initially my wife went on a VERY restricted diet to "clean up" her breast milk, but it didn't help. We went on a hypoallergenic formula at that point (around 3 months old). Starting and upping meds definitely helped a lot. Eventually ours was on Esomeprozale (Nexium) twice per day, Famotidine (pepsid) once per day, and Mylanta as needed. Adding oatmeal (1 tsp per oz) to his bottles helped too. All this was under the supervision of our GI, of course. IF you haven't been to a GI, go. Pediatricians are not equipped to handle the special requirements of a reflux baby. It really was just a waiting game, though. He seemed to start getting much better around the time he started sitting independently (which for us was 6 months). As a consequence of his reflux, he fell behind on some developmental milestones since he HATED tummy time. We ended up seeing a PT weekly and that helped a ton! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you so much! Everything you’ve said is exactly what I’m experiencing with my 4week old. I saw the community nurse and all she said was, “he’s a boy, it’s normal.” 😡
I know this is an older video. Its important to note that with dairy free, you have to be DF for at least 2 weeks, and then another 2 weeks after that for their guts to heal. My twins are both super sensitive to dairy, but still having issues. So, I am cutting caffeine and citrus now to see if that help.
Oh, thank you for sharing. This sounds like my 14 week old. It is frustrating and sad to see him go through this. And he wants to comfort feed but I know it won’t make it completely better and will make it worst. I’ll have to talk to his doctor.
My baby (5 weeks) just yesterday started with reflux like symptoms. Like you said, he doesn't spit up but while feeding or holding him he arches his back and cries a lot. Not for a long time but he does like little high pitched cries, like in pain. I have a doctor's appointment coming up so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for sharing your experience, it really helps other moms going through the same thing, you worry a lot about your little one and when u see other babys at 7 months that went through this it keeps your hopes up.
@SantoRedentor He got so much better. I honestly don't really remember now. As time went on we also learned he's just really hot tempered... He just really likes everything ASAP. XD Although I don't know if his personality was present even back then.
Wow, we’re not alone in this struggle! Everything you said sounds like our situation. I stopped eating dairy yesterday so we’ll see how it goes. Fingers crossed 💕
You mentioned that your baby needs to be nursed frequently to soothe his reflux symptoms. My baby seems to have the same issue. Do you recommend letting him nurse or just let him cry it out since overfeeding could worsen the reflux?
same problem here..My older son has reflux, and any excessive cry or overfeed would make him vomit or spit up. May I ask what's your choice and how did it go?
This is super helpful! My 8 week old's reflux is SO bad. Our eldest also had it and we cut dairy and put her on nexiam which worked. This time around it doesn't seem to be 😔 definitely gonna cut caffeine too! I also didn't realize that lactose free wasn't completely dairy free 🤦♀️thanks for sharing!
I’m also facing the same problem I’m a first time mom he has CMPA and Lactose intolerant. He is 4months old now can’t Anel to sleep on his back I have to hold him in upright position for sleep though he will wake up and cry again I have to bounce him some time squats. I used nexium but no change. Can you please help me at which month your baby get better with sleep on his back. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@pnaveenareddy1994Did you see any change with your little one ? Sane here my baby has the some problems I tried every thing nothing helps also try lactose free formula didn’t work 😢😢 she is 5 month 2 weeks old . I dnt know when she will grow of it being sick after every feed😢
@@ladyboss4227yes I saw the changes after few days of trying (I used probiotic drops and simithicona) by 5th and a half I saw a lot of changes in him completely different baby I looked By the time it will heal don’t worry soon it will be over
I truly hope that you get to have a happy, sleepy newborn experience too someday. My first baby also had reflux/colic and when the sun went down I would get so depressed because I was so tired, but knew I wasn't going to get any sleep. It was one of the hardest times in my life. I feel ya for sure! We have three kids now and both of the others were dream newborns. I am so thankful for that. The good thing is that you know what to do to help the next one if you need to, but I sure hope you don't have that experience again.
That's exactly what I'm going through with my twins, absolutely no sleep from 9to 4am is so hard there's always one of them awake you get no sleep&get depressed so fast and exhausted.
This has been my experience with my LO. I have so much anxiety by the evening when I know symptoms will flare up at their worst. It's very isolating and exhausting. How many months before you caught a break?
Oh my thank God I'm not alone... Right in this same spot right now. Getting depressed when sun is going down cause I know I won't get any rest... Poor baby is crying out of pain whole night because of the reflux 😩😞
Rachelle Speer has it gotten better? I have a 6 week old and she’s always spitting up, fussy - I sometimes have anxiety when she cries and can’t get comfortable
Even 3 years later I am so grateful to see this post, my baby girl is almost 6 months and I thought if she was colicy than she would get better and feel better and that hasn’t changed. I have so many questions.
I'm so happy i came across this. My baby just turned 3 months and the reflux just does not seem to get any better. Cutting coffee and dairy is something i will try. Thank you for sharing.
This was so helpful. I am loosing my mind over this with my one month old baby and it breaks my heart to see her in pain. Did you stop all caffeine including green tea and black tea?
Its because the black and white Holstein cows were forced to produce so much milk they now have a mutation in the milk protein. They have a1 protein instead of a2 like humans and others mammals. cows and goats etc. do. So you can try to switch to gost dairy or a2 (heritage breed( dairy including cheese etc. It shouldn't be any different than your own milk protein. A baby can get too much lactose though if they get more foremilk than hindmilk so its good not to switch breasts too quickly also
Cows milk proteins can stay in breast milk up to 3 weeks. My daughter had cows milk protein intolerance and my other daughter has acid reflex. I’ve cut everything out of my diet except chicken, plain dairy free bread and applesauce, shes is still on a ppi. Food does effect the breastmilk. Both my kids have seen a gastroenterologist
If dairy is suspected, for some, you really need to cut dairy for 4 weeks to really notice a difference, because dairy proteins last in the mom for 2 weeks, and then it takes about 2 weeks for baby to rid their bodies of the dairy proteins.....at least according to my sisters pediatrician (all her kids have dairy allergies)

Hi thank you for this video. I think my baby has the same symptoms. And we are debating about cutting out dairy. How long was it when you saw improvement in your baby after you cut out dairy?
Hai can you answer your question it’s been 3yrs I’m a first time mom by baby is not sleeping on his back I have to hold him in upright for sleep though he will wake up then I have to bounce sometimes squats Can you please help me at which month your baby got better 🙏🏻
Hi@@pnaveenareddy1994. I have a 4 week old behaving exactly the same way. Has reflux and also would not lie on his back. At all. Can you please tell if this got better? If yes, what helped and at what age?? Thank you!
@@haniamoiz5320Hai it got better by 5th month I saw a lot of changes from 4th month. I took out dairy, nut, eggs. After taking out it took me 3weeks to observe an improvement. Don’t worry it will be fine as time passes first mother should be relaxed so get help from others to hold the baby.
Note: one additional thing that we’ve found soooo helpful is to hold our baby up for at least 20 minutes after feedings. Yes, time confusing but so worth it. And you get more time to bond with them. It will get better! This story sounds very familiar but luckily I spoke with a nurse after a month that gave some helpful tips as it was sooo rough. I also cut out dairy and caffeine. My baby was also having gas pains. Doing the things you mention plus holding upright at least 20 min really has helped. Persistence. We never had her sleep at an incline tho as it just worried me too much to not keep her flat.
@@nitika1111 when you say get rid of it i'm assuming you mean get it under control? it's been long enough now my memory of it is a bit foggy but i think symptoms of my baby getting painful reflux symptoms greatly reduced within two weeks of holding her up after each feeding plus taking care to not overfeed her as I had been. it was time consuming each day but so well worth it! as she's gotten older i still hold her up but just so she doesn't spit up and make a mess. she's almost 9 months and seems to have grown out of much of the reflux and gas that would cause so much pain before.
Hi!! Thanks for the video. Was it just caffeine or the actual coffee itself? I have tried cutting so many things out. I drank decaf for at least a week, with no dairy or soy in my diet for the longest time, and he still has issues ! Maybe its coffee in general?
Same exact symptoms for my baby at 5 weeks and he is not 2 months old. At what month did you realize it go away? My baby is on alimentum formula milk. Most sensitive milk
What is your breastfeeding diet I have a two week old that has uncomfortable reflux it’s horrible I changed my diet last night by what I can find on the internet
Hey Holly, you mentioned you had a faster letdown which led him to gulp and choke. My baby has the exact same symptoms as yours did. But I think it’s mostly because he’s swallowing too much air while feeding due to my heavy letdown and he’s also constantly burping and full of gas. Do you think I need to change my diet or just try different feeding positions first to help slow the milk? Please help!
I had this with my son too I can relate to this sooo much i read that it takes two weeks for dairy to leave your body then two weeks to leave baby’s body so really u should be waiting four weeks after cutting out dairy to see if there was a difference... so maybe you can have caffeine? There’s something about this issue where doctors and other ppl for that matter hate believing it’s true and that it’s the actual problem. There is a difference and you can tell. I cut out dairy for my daughter and realised that she didn’t have the same issue as my son I think she just may have reflux as a mother you know your baby
Um Rayhana I’ve heard people say that but we noticed a difference in just a few days! But yes it took a couple of weeks for it to be completely better. I have tried having coffee after months of no dairy just to see but it always gives him reflux unfortunately 😩
Holly Homebody ah yes I tried eating foods that I had cut out just in case he wasn’t intolerant because I felt like everyone doubted me. In the end he would end up reacting again. Its all worth it, doing what’s best for your baby
hey ,if anyone else wants to learn about treatment bronchial tube irritation acid reflux try Panlarko Amazing Reflux Planner (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my co-worker got amazing results with it.
Literally had so much dairy yesterday during the day and coffee in the night. Baby has hardly been able to sleep today cos he keeps spitting up and is fussy obviously due to the discomfort☹😭 Thank you sooo much for this. I'm quitting dairy and caffeine with immediate effect.
All my 4 babies had this. They go on hunger strike at about one month and turn from angels to always crying and angry babies. Had to always wear them up right. Had same problem, really fast let down. And the more I nursed, the more milk I got. Medication is the only thing that saved us. In 6 weeks our doctor suggested to stop the meds and it worked, our 4th one didn’t need the meds anymore. I tried to eliminate foods etc, but nothing helped. Thanks for the video though! I am glad you figured it out much faster than us😂
Thank you so much for this video. My doctor actually did say my diet. I was the one like no I don’t think so. Lol because I love food. So I’m definitely going to try the no coffee and dairy first for 2 weeks. Gas drops did not work at all so it has to be acid reflux
interesting points ,if anyone else wants to discover treatment acid reflux disease try Bablim Rapid Heartburn Booster ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my colleague got great results with it.
There are several components to treating heartburn naturally. One place I found that successfully combines these is the Fergs Treatment Crusher (check it out on google) it's the most useful blueprint that I've heard of. Check out all the super information .
Hey my baby has reflux as well and struggles to sleep on her own on any surface inclined or not. She seems to only be happy sleeping on my chest inclined (which I know isn’t safe). How long did it take for your little one to sleep on his own at night for any time period?
Your story is almost identical to mine - my baby is one month today and I’ve been wondering if I should cut out caffeine and dairy! Sounds like it’s worth a try! Thank you for the video
@@alm1720 I cut out coffee, unfortunately my living situation doesn’t allow me to cut out dairy rn, but no coffee is HUGE!!! She’s so much more comfortable and she doesn’t spit as much
Hi, Thanks a lot for making this video. My daughter is extremely cranky (35 day old) from last 3 days and especially during the nights and all symptoms were related to acid reflux. My wife has stopped coffe n milk during pregnancy but she has started consumnv the same one week back and today just to get to the root cause of it she stopped coffe n milk and the results are visible, today my little one slept peacefully... I have taken her to doctor as well and as u mentioned , he didn't spoke anything related to diet but one good thing he has prescribed is "bio Gia protectic" drops for 21 days basically to increase the healthy gut bacteria. Keep doing the good working, keep smiling, take care !
@@anishatembhurkar7558 for a few babies it will take a bit more time for the digestive track to form completely and around 2 months my baby started doing well till then she used to spew milk in the form of curd and she used to have reflex problem as well and we used to make sure she always slept in 45-degree angle but now it's all ok
Thank you so much for this video I have an 11 month old( just turn today) and she fits this to a T! She arches her back screams tries to even jump burps out and it is very hard to see her in that manner and not be able to do anything. We have been to the hospital two times and both times they did the same thing her pediatrician was already doing in her pediatrician is very short and listens to every other word I say, so she doesn't have a good grasp of the magnitude. she downplays the situation, and says she's not hurting she's just in discomfort. I literally believe this is happening because she is a biracial child black and white and we are one of the few minorities in the office and we are on Medicaid. I don't know if it's just me but she's been going through this for at least 6 months and it's getting harder and harder to burp her. Thank you so much for posting a video like this I've learned more information from you than her pediatrician and your first step (with Zantac/ prevacid) was like our fifth step that her doctor recommended, so it really shows when doctors are holding back. this gives mothers Justice when the doctors fail because at the end of the day it's not their kid it's the mothers.
Our little girl is formula fed (bf didn’t work due to medical issues) and she’s silent refluxing terribly. Our pedi said try cereal for a week. It’s only getting worse. Pedi said next might be Pepcid. I’m convinced it’s going to be the formula, but I don’t want to chase the issue around by having too many variables. Our first wasn’t this bad. She didn’t sleep, but she was happy. This one... ugh. Thanks for sharing your story! Hopefully we’ll figure this out sooner than later.
@@itszoura3394 we had gone all the way down to Elecare which didn’t help at all there was zero improvement and her bowels were bad. We ended up using Alimentum and dealt with it. I have no idea if it was connected, but she turned out to have a lactose issue. She’s 2, thriving and on Ripple Milk Kids. Pepcid helped, but is very weight sensitive. 30 day supply gave us really only 20 days of improvement. We were put on Omeprazol but didn’t go past 1 day bc the reflux spiked so much worse. I held that baby almost 8 months to help her get sleep. Advocate for your child. The Pedi won’t. They will question you about your experience when you research and raise concerns. We pushed for a GI consult which did help understanding, but we were lucky with the severity. She was bad, but I’ve heard of way worse.
How did you wean him off of Zantac I want to do the same since a new study has found it is linked to cancer. I’m also going to cut out dairy and caffeine.
Diana really?? that is scary! I was wary of putting him on it in the first place but the dr assured us there was no risk (the study probably wasn’t out yet). Ugh. it wasn’t doing much for him anyway so when I noticed an improvement from my diet changes I just stopped giving it to him. 🤷♀️ didn’t really wean
Please please please ask a professional before spreading false info...the OTC Zantac is being recalled (made by Pfizer) not the prescription liquid Zantac!
Donna Kay I was actually talking to Diana specifically about the Zantac study. I wasn’t trying to be mean, there’s just a lot of information to sort through and many of us don’t go the extra mile to fact check, I know I typically don’t. But this one was personal to me so I did some research as my baby was on Zantac and I was a nervous wreck about it
Our son is 3 weeks old and he has reflux so bad I was changing his diaper an hour after feeding him and within that little time he was on his back, he was choking on his spit up. If he’s not eating or sleeping he is crying. Was this how it was with you as far as the amount of crying your son was doing? It was a cry like he was in constant pain 😞 (we are bottle feeding)
I’m going through this exact same thing right now with my 6 week old 😩. He’s also bottle-formula fed. I’m thinking we need to change his formula - he’s currently drinking Enfamil Gentlease
@@kame9470 did you ended up changing formula?I'm going through the same thing with my 3 week old. The only thing is he doesn't vomit but he's cries after almost every feeding. My baby has same issue, she doesn’t like to lay on her back. I am worried that how she will learn rollover and other Motor skills if they don’t lay back. In which month your baby rolled over and started crawling?
We aren't alone in this. My baby doesn't sleep on his back, I've to make him sleep on my chest in an up right position and needless to say it gets tiring. My baby had colic too so together with reflux he was in too much discomfort. I too have got a carry cot but he doesn't sleep in that either. Do suggest what can be done.. he is currently three months old.
My baby girl had acid reflex and was colic too. I did the exact thing that you did and held her all the time and I was very exhausted. I'm starting suspect that she has a lip tie. You should look into that to make sure your baby doesn't have that. It can cause lots of issues.
@@arthihema7554 Not a quick solution. My doctor gave us something to help with her stomach cramps and we made sure not to lay her down after eating. We waited 20mins which helped. She grew out of it, thank goodness🙏
I haven’t found what is bothering my 5 weeks old son. He’s having this reflux and so annoying, he sleeps very good but the reflux just don’t let him do anything!!!! I’m breastfeeding exclusively and I don’t eat dairy or caffeine at all 😢😞 this is so frustrating!!!
Very good information; now it all makes sense to me, and I finally understand why my first baby didn't like the swing. Also one note on diet. My friend who is an Indian didn't have these problems but guess what; they don't drink coffee or cows milk
Cows milk is the most consumed product in India. We consume cottage cheese (paneer), milk, ghee (clarified butter). All these are staples in all the Indian households.
Does cutting out dairy and caffeine means your baby can't have those foods when they got bigger?? New mom going through exact same situation and confused between to cut out dairy or listen to my Dr.( saying my diet is not a concern). Also please tell can I have goat milk instead?

Same thing is happening now a days with my one month old daughter... Plz help me what should i do... She cant lie on the bed, within minutes she gets really very painfull hiccups or spit up n cant even play even for a short while.. Plx anyone help me plz
Thank you for sharing this. We've been talking about the reflux with our GP, midwife and and osteopath and none of them suggested to eliminate coffee. Moreover, there's so much information out there about reflux and breastfeeding and I have not seen anything mentioning elimination of caffeine before I started target searching for the combination after watching your video. I feel like there is a lot of theory nowadays which is far from practice and medical professionals are basing themselves on it alone, but as a mom you quickly discover that in reality things work differently and you are forced to look up stuff on your own.
I find that my baby doesn’t sleep well during the night and also doesn’t nap due to his reflux. Did yours do that? How old was your baby when you got your diet in check for him? Everything you’ve said is EXACTLY my baby... it’s been 10 weeks like this now and I’m worried it’s been not properly treated for too long.
My son is now 8 weeks old and he has these symptoms too. He also didn't nap during the day, crying almost all day long and having a very anxious sleep at nights. I'm now dairy-free for like 4 or 5 weeks (the detoxification need up to 6 weeks) and he takes the nexium medicine for 5 days now. I can see some improvement but all these depends on the baby. It's hard for a pediatrician to diagnose if a baby has or not a silent reflux, i'm not quite sure if mine has too. But as parents, we try everything :) Don't worry about your child, he will be ok in time and he will not even remember it. It's as the mums that gets the most pressure from all of these.
Hi holly! This video was so insightful because it seams my bubba is going through the same thing... I have one question though.. was your baby’s stool liquidy/frothy? That’s the only thing my baby has that you didn’t mention, so I’m trying to narrow things down! 😭🙏🏼
Hi Marlie, I haven’t! I’m gonna get him tested for allergies when he turns 3 months. His stool is still the same and I have been off dairy and red meats and even eggs! I am also giving him Zantac, which his fussiness is better but that’s about it! Work in progress I guess
MeiLynn Soto are you breastfeeding? Frothy usually means your hind and foremilk are off somehow like the way your pumping isn’t for a fully cycle to empty out your breasts?
So will decafe be ok? I am going through this right now and am desperate. He wont nurse he wont even try and now i feel my milk going away. Thank you for your video.
you can get a visit t secretsoftea.com to learn about "babies magic tea", its an herbal tea designed with organic ingredients for babies suffering from colic, wind, or reflux. you can add the tea in baby formula and give it to the baby. this tea is evenly effective for breastfed babies as the mom can drink it and pass it through breast milk.

I know this video was posted two years ago lol but did your baby stay on the Zantac or did you take him off of it? Was it a combination of diet change and the medication or just the diet change??
Our reflux caused our baby to choke and stop breathing and I had to rescue her and take a trip in ambulance. Keep an eye on your newborn if they experience reflux.
Good to hear that you went the diet route. I have acid reflux and Zintac is terrible, diet change is definitely the best thing. I am going to try to get the diary out of my diet, my lo start to get the same symptoms these 2 weeks, and I think that about the time I started to drink milk. But I think my lo has mild colic, which also can be affected by mom's diet. My lo likes lay down and we tried colic remedies and they worked.
The problem with us mothers is that we feel we r to be blamed... Or our diet. My baby has exactly the same symptoms but wen I tell the doctor they say don't diagnose ur baby on basis of google
Thank you for this video. My son spits up a lot but he is gaining weight because he does eat alot. Lol. I hope this works for us so he can just be a happy baby.

Let me know if you have any questions.
no medication worked for us only time...

I have a boy he doesn't have reflux my daughter does
I know this is an older video.
How was in the end? Did your bevy get better? Ours is 4 weeks and we are going through this right now...
@SantoRedentor He got so much better. I honestly don't really remember now. As time went on we also learned he's just really hot tempered... He just really likes everything ASAP. XD
Although I don't know if his personality was present even back then.
Hey, thank you for doing this video, sounds so much like my 3 week year old. How quickly did you see results with cutting out dairy and caffeine?
Thank you SO much for sharing this!! It was so similar to our experience. What were the best breastfeeding positions you found with Charlie's reflux?
Wow, we’re not alone in this struggle! Everything you said sounds like our situation. I stopped eating dairy yesterday so we’ll see how it goes. Fingers crossed 💕
Please tell me how it went? I just stopped dairy. Didn't know about caffeine but stopping that immediately as well.
Hi! It worked? I've started yesterday 😢
did it work?
Did it work?
Omg! You are a savior! I am going to try to reduce or stop taking in dairy and see.
Girl idk 😅💆♀️ it was rough. I wish I knew the best thing to do
This is super helpful!
Aww good luck!!

@@ladyboss4227yes I saw the changes after few days of trying (I used probiotic drops and simithicona) by 5th and a half I saw a lot of changes in him completely different baby I looked
By the time it will heal don’t worry soon it will be over
I truly hope that you get to have a happy, sleepy newborn experience too someday.
No sleep here as well. Feel more bad that baby too not able to sleep more
This has been my experience with my LO.
Finally i found someone related to my experience. Thank you for your tips
Hi my baby is just 3 months now and we’re experiencing the same. Did cutting out caffeine and dairy help yours?
This is all sounding very, very accurate for my three week old.
Has it gotten any better?
Same! This is EXACTLY what I’m dealing with. So heartbreaking.
This was so helpful. I am loosing my mind over this with my one month old baby and it breaks my heart to see her in pain. Did you stop all caffeine including green tea and black tea?
Have you found any solution because we are also suffering from that?! 😑
A baby can get too much lactose though if they get more foremilk than hindmilk so its good not to switch breasts too quickly also
Excellent offering. Thank you⭐️
Cows milk proteins can stay in breast milk up to 3 weeks. My daughter had cows milk protein intolerance and my other daughter has acid reflex. I’ve cut everything out of my diet except chicken, plain dairy free bread and applesauce, shes is still on a ppi. Food does effect the breastmilk. Both my kids have seen a gastroenterologist
Cows milk actually caused her colitis and acid reflex
Through my diet while breastfeeding
Mine has reflux , right now. He is one month old and sleeps best on his stomach.
Agreed. This was true - nearly to the day - with my oldest.

Hi thank you for this video. I think my baby has the same symptoms. And we are debating about cutting out dairy. How long was it when you saw improvement in your baby after you cut out dairy?
Hai can you answer your question it’s been 3yrs
I’m a first time mom by baby is not sleeping on his back I have to hold him in upright for sleep though he will wake up then I have to bounce sometimes squats

@@pnaveenareddy1994 thank you so much for replying! This gives me hope. I have already cut out milk, and nuts. Will work on eggs. Thanks again.
Hi .. how long did it take to get rid of reflux?
@@nitika1111 when you say get rid of it i'm assuming you mean get it under control? it's been long enough now my memory of it is a bit foggy but i think symptoms of my baby getting painful reflux symptoms greatly reduced within two weeks of holding her up after each feeding plus taking care to not overfeed her as I had been. it was time consuming each day but so well worth it! as she's gotten older i still hold her up but just so she doesn't spit up and make a mess. she's almost 9 months and seems to have grown out of much of the reflux and gas that would cause so much pain before.
Well understand, leave milk & coffee. What about tea? Does it causes reflex too?
md. Shafique tea has caffeine too.
What about coke cola?
If the tea has caffeine such as black tea, green tea, Yerba Mate. But not all teas have caffeine. Herbal teas don't usually have caffeine.
Hi!! Thanks for the video. Was it just caffeine or the actual coffee itself? I have tried cutting so many things out. I drank decaf for at least a week, with no dairy or soy in my diet for the longest time, and he still has issues ! Maybe its coffee in general?
My doctor said eggs and meat can do to it
That's a good question. I'm wondering the same thing.
My baby has bad reflux too. Did anything end up helping you?
Omg this is my life right now!. We have him some type of reflux medication but I'll have to try cutting out coffee & dairy 😩
I received your insta message and responded there! xo
Hi .. I have same issue... Pls suggest what you did and for how long? Mine is 8weeks old...
I have the same problem and I don't know what to do. It's so frustrating. My 3 months old is refusing to breastfeed when it happens.
I had this with my son too I can relate to this sooo much
i read that it takes two weeks for dairy to leave your body then two weeks to leave baby’s body so really u should be waiting four weeks after cutting out dairy to see if there was a difference... so maybe you can have caffeine?
I’m so happy you shared this because I’m going crazy with my refluxy newborn. I feel so sorry for him I will try no caffeine I’m already dairy free
Literally had so much dairy yesterday during the day and coffee in the night. Baby has hardly been able to sleep today cos he keeps spitting up and is fussy obviously due to the discomfort☹😭
Thank you sooo much for this.
Dairy and caffeine bothered my son when I was breastfeeding. I was so sad I couldn’t have coffee! 😳 We make lots of sacrifices as parents 🤪
Jenna yes we sure do! Haha but they are so worth it.
the greatest results that I have ever had was with the Fergs Treatment Crusher (just google it) - definately the best idea i've tried.

It so nice to know a person isn't alone.
Can I ask how quickly you saw an improvement after cutting out caffeine? Was it instant?
Whole New World pretty much - a day or 2 probably
Our little girl is formula fed (bf didn’t work due to medical issues) and she’s silent refluxing terribly. Our pedi said try cereal for a week. It’s only getting worse. Pedi said next might be Pepcid. I’m convinced it’s going to be the formula, but I don’t want to chase the issue around by having too many variables. Our first wasn’t this bad. She didn’t sleep, but she was happy. This one... ugh. Thanks for sharing your story! Hopefully we’ll figure this out sooner than later.
This is happening with my first baby. Do you have any formula recommendations? My baby is getting fortified feeds
I know it is scary! Yeah it’s not doing much for her anyway thank you so much for replying so fast! I wasn’t sure if I could just stop but thank you!!

Donna Kay I was actually talking to Diana specifically about the Zantac study. But this one was personal to me so I did some research as my baby was on Zantac and I was a nervous wreck about it
Our son is 3 weeks old and he has reflux so bad I was changing his diaper an hour after feeding him and within that little time he was on his back, he was choking on his spit up. My baby girl had acid reflex and was colic too. I did the exact thing that you did and held her all the time and I was very exhausted. I'm starting suspect that she has a lip tie. You should look into that to make sure your baby doesn't have that. It can cause lots of issues.

How long after cutting dairy did you see a difference?
Very good information; now it all makes sense to me, and I finally understand why my first baby didn't like the swing. Also one note on diet. My friend who is an Indian didn't have these problems but guess what; they don't drink coffee or cows milk
Cows milk is the most consumed product in India. We consume cottage cheese (paneer), milk, ghee (clarified butter). All these are staples in all the Indian households.
And coffee is a staple too. We drink filter coffee.

Thank God I found your video. God bless you and little charlie ♥️
Literally same exact stuff that happens with our baby. Its very hard to deal with .
To all mamas here, does this effect babies capability of digesting dairy when they start solids?
Did you continue with the meds?
Thank you. Will try cutting caffeine!
Hi holly! This video was so insightful because it seams my bubba is going through the same thing... I have one question though.. was your baby’s stool liquidy/frothy? That’s the only thing my baby has that you didn’t mention, so I’m trying to narrow things down! 😭🙏🏼
MeiLynn Soto you figure out your baby’s issue yet?

The problem with us mothers is that we feel we r to be blamed... Or our diet. My baby has exactly the same symptoms but wen I tell the doctor they say don't diagnose ur baby on basis of google
Your baby is so cute!!!
Hi I’m going through the same thing😔 it’s really hard. Did your baby outgrow the reflux now and does he have any allergies?
Merve he is 15 months and he has finally outgrown it :)
Thank you SO very much for this information!! Out daughter is going through the exact same situation with her new baby boy. I will send this to her.
Thank you for this video. My son spits up a lot but he is gaining weight because he does eat alot. Lol. I hope this works for us so he can just be a happy baby.
Do you know why my baby cries n gets uncomfortable while eating n to a point where he can't eat sometimes?
For a moment I thought you are narrating my experience with my baby right now. I am 1st time mom so it is quite frustrating to see your baby in constant pain.. Hope it will get better with time
