- I bought a 240sx! And its a pretty nice one too. But there's one big problem... it can wake the dead with its loud as hell exhaust.
We experiment with silencers and we make a custom exhaust.

I took off the open air cleaner on my 68, the original air cleaner quieted the sound great. I want to put non headers dual exhaust, but totally silent. You can have 2 mufflers on the same line or a shorter less effective muffler on too, I hear.
I cut muffler too, now the sound is killing me when driving on the high way
Hey man for the rattling so u don't have to make two holes. Just get a paper clip bend it into a U shape then bend the end of the U 180° and it will clip in and act like a spacer. Worked for me and it's on the top of the top so u can't see it unless u lay down and look up.
Ive got a 2" size exhaust and a 2" muffler with a 3" exit. The exhaust is a front bumper exit. It over all sounds great but when i shift now i get this raspy sound. 😢
Hey bro . I have 4 inch exhaust . So do I Order 4inch silcener or do I go smaller and order 3.5

None, those 4" tips usually only have 2.5" pipe behind them anyway.

why the rattle? did you buy the 3.5 and had a 4" opening?
You gotta put copper dish washing scrubs inside half way while using a metal clothes hanger hold it in place
You should of got 2 resonator and it will lower the sound of ur car. The best resonator you should get vibrant performance
My silencer has insulation around the small exit pipe and two bolts holding it it... Love the comment about using a paper clip. How hard is it to drill a hole lol. Tin foil spacer these guys have pretty poor Fab skill

All that work to make that car quieter. It was really freakin loud with the 3 inch straight pipe that it had on it when I bought it.
