    Nice to see another Malaysian M2 Mac Mini owner. This machine is so hard to get. I ordered mine on 22 Feb the day it was officially opened for the local market and got it only a month later shipped from China. Mine is the 16GB 512GB version. This machine is a speed monster in rendering video.

      Yours would be the M2 Pro Mac mini right? Great choice!

      @@JuanWei no not the pro. just upgraded the ram and storage. to go to the pro would burn another RM1600 in my pocket, Been using it for simple video editing and it serves the purpose way way better than I expected especially rendering time.

    Great video mate - thank you so much. Hard to find a decent monitor for the Mac Mini M2 that is in my budget but this looks perfect. May I ask, why did you buy the 8K HDMI cable later? It really sucks that Apple don't make an all-in-one 27inch iMac any more. I would have bought it in a heartbeat to replace my 2013 iMac! Thanks for the awesome video review!

      Happy to hear you found the video helpful! I loved my iMacs too but the older ones were just getting too slow. The M2 mini on the other hand is sooo much faster. I bought the HDMI cable later basically to free up the USB-C port for other use but on hindsight I didn't really needed to.

    • @JuanWei
      @JuanWei  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! I tried 4K resolution but everything became too small for me although I get more screen real estate with that setting. The 2560 x 1440 works fine for me as everything is sharp and crisp and beats the 21.5” iMac 4K Retina display I was using before.

    Have you tried having the power delivery feature of the Dell monitor to your Mac? I have the same monitor and it does video/power/data in one cable to my Lenovo laptop, making it very convenient, but wondering if the macmini supports that as well.

    • @JuanWei
      @JuanWei  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve not tried that. If I remember correctly, it will not provide sufficient power to the Mac mini.

    Hi Juan. I've 2 monitor like this(exactly same model), connected to same mac mini model. After two months, sometimes one, sometimes the other starts to flicker. Have you noticed anything like this?

    • @JuanWei

      I’ve not experienced that. But during initial installation I did have a monitor go off and I discovered I did not fully plugged in the connector behind the display. Perhaps you can check your and make sure you push them in fully. Good luck!

    You know how the iMac screen is really sharp and crisp (I believe Apple call it Retina display) - is the Dell the same? Or does it look flatter / duller? Thanks!

    • @JuanWei
      @JuanWei  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The iMac screen is gloss whereas this Dell monitor is matte which I actually prefer as there're no glare and reflections. I'm also aware that this may be a personal preference to some people. After getting this monitor I actually had a tinge of regret not going for the 31" model instead, so perhaps you should consider that for the extra real estate screen space.

    So, Does D2723QE need a 8k cable only to connect to M2 MINI or can I use 4K Cable itself ?. Will wireless keyboard /mouse work with HDMI connected monitors?

    • @JuanWei
