Sharing my installation experience and using the XP-420B for the first time. Although the printer is commonly used for printing Air Way Bills and such, there is no stopping you from printing other things such as a personalised sticker label, fragile label, and whatever you want to create.

I’m trying to set up the printing shipping labels 100x100 on iPhone, but for some reason, I’m getting bad print quality when printing from iOS (the bar code and text are a bit noisy).
When sending the same label from windows computer - no issue. It feels that on iPhone, it sends pdf in worse quality than on PC.
Also, I have to change the print label height to 100.
Could someone help me to fix these issues?

If you watch at 7:52 I experienced similar lower print quality results from printing using the Bluetooth from the iPhone. You can see and listen to my conclusion, disappointed.

PS: I'm printing via wi-fi
For 1st user , after install your paperz u can click on button (red) so its running to the actual position . If you are always changing the paper size , you have to calibrate once change . Just push on the button untill it running and stop by it self
Then just rearrange the paper bck to normal before use .

hello juan wei, I have problems printing label using windows. nothing comes out. i believed the printer is set properly, when i click test page the printer response. but what apps can i use on my laptop running on windows to print my labels?
I’m not familiar with Window. I think the printer should work with most apps/programs once setup as it should just like a regular printer. I hope you find a solution.

What size u use for print waybill when u use iphone..
It’s 4x6 but I’ve decided to not print from my iPhone and print from my desktop (iMac) instead which is quicker and more user friendly

I couldn’t find a fix. Anyways, I’ve decided to print from my desktop, the print quality is better compared to using the phone too. Hope you find a solution.

I personally don’t use the app when printing from desktop, just directly from whatever I’m working on and select the xp-420b as the printer
Eventually i found the drivers in English on a site called seagull and got the printer working from my laptop via Bluetooth but it was a nightmare. Thanks for your video @JuanWei @@JuanWei

How can i print from Microsoft Word?
I’ve not used it with Word but after you install the printer driver it should be just like printing from any other printer in word, select File>Print>select printer and print/okay.

The Xprinter is terrible and support is worse! The light stays pink (ON). The printer will not reset by pressing the button and switching on the power. Is there a way to reset the firmware?

There are better printers out there, but this printer has so far performed as expected of it.
You actually need to get into the software back > before this you install 'USB' right? > Now select 'Bluetooth' (BT) instead > Install the BT software.
You shall find 2 XP-420B (or more). Which is (1) USB and (2) Bluetooth (probably renamed to XP-420B_BT).
Reason you fail to use BT on mac, maybe because u didn't install driver for 'bluetooth'.
Thanks for sharing the information. However, I do not understand entirely what you meant as I cannot locate any 'bluetooth driver' to install.
