@@Bluedrake42 I'm always here man, lurking from the shadows ;-). Been following OHD for quite some time and I think it has some true potential. Just gotta see it as a bigass sandbox game that you can turn into any kind of shooter. As time goes by and more stuff gets developed, you end up with a base game that's fun as well as unlimited mods that are fun for many others. Hang in there, together with your team and go after this dream of yours (and many others for that matter). It'll be rough and there will be plenty of bad reviews, but you gotta look further than what you see on the screen. Seriously, this has great potential 💪🏻
@@AfterDune You're such an awesome dude man. Thank you so much for being who you are. I've always appreciated your influence on the Project Reality community and beyond. You've been a guiding hand for so many of us for so long. Means a lot to me that you're here to see us launch.
@@karmens831On DayZ you're less likely to encounter cheaters on community servers BECAUSE the community polices their own servers. This is the new reality if you arent a multimillion dollar company. The only downside to the game right now, is having to listen to these kinds of complaints. I guess since DayZ is working better now, there's nowhere else for peopl like this to go and whine.
You can tell the old school FPS players, because they would absolutely love it. No achievements, no ranking system, no battle passes, no lootboxes, no storyline, just fun. This is what CounterStrike was like in its golden era
I think we are slowly in a time were a new generation is getting old enough to buy and play games for themselves - and they grew up with battlepasses, skins and live service, the dark era of gaming. I am 27 and I still long for the day of games like paraworld, rise and fall or even the older need for speed games. Just a CD, no bullsht, just a finished game. Your game is different but it still holds this feeling of being a genuine game of passion. I respect that!
Same and you are right. Kids today will never get to experience all the good games, couch co-op, movies, shows, etc... that we did. Games took a wrong turn about ten years ago.
"Dark era of gaming" well put. The kids think thats how it has to be. Made me quit lot of gaming more than 10 years ago. Battlepasses are crap. Lootboxes are pure poison. I will check this game out, seems to be more in my street.
Yeah, the "Desire for BattlePass" really is the result of a stunted FPS player base. They seem to like the fact that there is timed access to certain things, which is a broken mindset when it comes to gaming to begin with... I congratulate the OHD Team on building past this insidious money making scheme. Keep up the great work!
I completely agree with this. I couldn't imagine having played Final Fantasy X and feeling the same connection I do with the game if I had to keep buying DLCs, skins and battle passes and Square Enix online subscriptions.
This is what we need. The community stepping up thanks to the tyranical nature that the AAA companies have adopted. I will support you and people like you forever. Just don't lose track this.
It's not really tyranical, they ain't forcing anyone. It's just that people still support/ed it so they keep doing it. Once more games like this one come out the companies will have to adapt. Nothing tyranical about this. Just supply and demand and competition at work.
@@baph0met People don't "support" those types of games, it's the fact that there isn't anything else right now. People are looking for new games, a lot of people don't just stick to 2 games and never play anything else, the causal consummer isn't at fault, the misrepresented, over promised and "We'll fix it later" mentaility is what's killing games right now. Theres a large difference between support and doing something because there is literally nothing else that specifically suits what you want.
Had the privilege of testing it, while the game lacks some polish, it is beyond phenomenal especially for free, the modding environment, and community than came to help bring this to life also is a big part, I've spent hours already, and am ready to play some more!
Depends on how much creative freedom you have like Skyrim for example, it's very big like i think you can mod every aspect of that game now and pretty much Bethesda games in general. CD Projekt Red is working on it but i don't think there's much modders can do with that game without their brains exploding coz i heard its really hard then theres Rimworld, Factorio and modders had a fun time making those coz i remember when Rimworld was in development and there were modders already and Tynan gave them the green light to expand and it did "i remember Tynan's selling pitch is he was one of the devs on Bioshock infinite something lol, he made a gem though so madlad of him". Minecraft, it was slow for that one but then it just expanded exponentially out of nowhere and i don't even know how it started coz i played Minecraft when it was on beta :D good times.
Oh i forgot about the FATHER of all Modded Games WARCRAFT. The idea was simple, game modes. Alot of the games today are inspired and born there like Dota which gave birth to DOTA 2 and League of Legends, Tower Defense "Like every tower defense you see now" and lots more "Not totally sure if they were born there but thats where i first found such games. So they all have one thing in common, the creative freedom you can do with it and how friendly the game is to be modded. Edit: Just so people that read this have an idea how long its been is i played Dota when my country only had Dial Up Internet and and we played Dota on LAN only where we trash talk each other in person "Yes, alot of fights started from that game. I remember getting hit by a flying chair once and threw one back and yeah we were banned from that cafe and my bois and the enemy team we just laughed outside like nothing happened." some even get stabbed playing that game on Lan lol. CounterStrike 2 was booming too on LAN and BTW this is somewhere in ASIA so Internet was really late like year 2000 and we have DOTA was booming at 2003 like right when it got release it was wild "game had potential from the jump".
Majority of us that are loving the game are coming from the older gamers. The ones who actually played BF1942 and CoD 2 Search and Destroy. We come from the days of eve of destruction and desert combat. We come from the days of early Project Reality. Bluedrake, we are loving this, me and all my buddies who have been in the online scene for over 20 years. This is what gaming was. This is making gaming great again. I genuinely feel that way. I played 10 hours straight last night and after i do my daily responsibilities you bet your butt ill be on again!
I miss the first years of playing games those were the days, I was definitely not old enough for bf1942 but I played from mw2 and on those lobbies where the funniest of all time I gotta say
@@zeleacodreanu1 oh fuck joint ops, never liked it I thought it was jank as fuck compared to BF. But I will say it was epic had like what 120 man servers back in 03?
I see this going 1 of 2 ways. 1. They stick to their word and keep it free, community updated and all that jazz.. 2. They finally realize there is money to be made, battlepass comes in, cosmetic store comes in and weapon store comes in. Lets hope that its #1, because this game has potential.
I think cosmetics and skins are fine. Look at league of legends or CSGO or any game that is F2P but not P2W. It’s all about skill and has cosmetics do nothing but pay the devs.
Man..what a genius idea. I love the idea of a small development company releasing a strong foundation to the community for free and letting the community help and even BECOME A MEMBER of the development team in creating the vision of OHDS through workshop support. As a development team / community relationship, it doesn’t get more personal than that. Looking forward to seeing what happens. Congrats guys.
@@DriveByGuy A small development team enlisting the help of the community to improve their game is lazy? Then how is it not lazy to just hire hundreds of employees to work on your game?
Love the idea behind the game, even the biggest studios have issues at launch, that is just the way it is, making games is super hard and time consuming, I wish you guys the best and congrats on the launch
This is an incredible start. I remember watching bluedrake about 2 or so years ago talking about getting something like this done. It's so impressive to see where you and the team have taken the dream blue.
I played it for about an hour yesterday and I had a good time. I really appreciate the fact it has single player for someone like me who isn't always looking to play multiplayer games. This game gives me the satisfaction of playing a MP like game in single player so I don't have to deal with factors like lag and real people. I wish the best for this game :)
This project is gonna change the whole FPS experience for me. In my opinion OHD is one of the best project to watch grow and evolve. I really want to play the zombie mode.
Seeing how development on games works from the ground up and how difficult the coding and generally the whole process can be, I have a deep appreciation for many types of games. This one looks awesome and I'd be proud that it's gotten this far! Looks very good for a smaller team and only going to keep getting better.
the discord idea is awesome but please continue to also post updates on TH-cam just to continue tapping into that market of people who have never heard of this game up until now like myself. TH-cam is a very powerful tool and posting updates here is super important aswell, i LOVE the game and really hope it gets the playerbase it deserves!
I was playing yesterday and saw you on the other team briefly BD. This is literally the most exciting gaming project I have ever seen. Literally infinite potential!
I can already see this being the absolute thorn in the side of big studios in the near future. "Hey. Our games free. And it has every game mode. And it's polished. And it's free." Christ on a bike I really want this to succeed because I will thoroughly enjoy the chaos.
If anyone is curious about a non-biased opinion on the game. A legit review from a player. Here it is: -Little to no player base. 2 Server about 90% full most days -Game already has Tarkov level cheaters despite only being out for 4 months. This amplified further because of the already tiny player base. Some games, one guy will end the match with 150/0 K/D, meanwhile the average I’ve seen for most people is anywhere between 10-20 -Despite have 200+ hours on the game, I’ve played the same 2 maps for most of that time. Map rotation is existent, but seems not be random. -No incentive to work as a team, most matches just end up being one big mash where one teams caps a point a defends it perfectly for 30 mins. Giving them the win by default. -Gun play is on par with other military sim fps, shooting weaponry feels meaningful -The maps I did get to play were enjoyable and VERY diverse. Jungles, Desert, Urban, etc. Overall, I get the game is in the works. I know it’s free. I know it’s YOUR game and you love it. Honestly, it’s better than what most people can make. That being said, it’s FAR FAR FAR away from being even playable. And most people will get everything they want out of your game by just playing Squad or Insurgency now, rather than 5 years from now.
I wouldn’t call this a “masterpiece” but it’s in the works to be something epic if the community can bring the modding to life because that’s what he’s relying on for “us” to finish his game
I am downloading your game now, not because it's free but because it is so refreshing to hear someone being open and honest about their game. So long as you all keep that up and your willing to listen to the player base, I'm pretty sure your game will take off and the community will be behind you.
This is so cool I wish more youtubers would do a similar thing. So many youtubers complain about triple A gaming nowadays if more big youtubers mobilized like this we can bring gaming back to what it should be.
And today we really have everything to make games, blueprint based engines, steam supported servers, workshops etc. Even one man projects can be soo good… AND now we have an example of what an (awesome) youtuber can achive if he wants!
Reminds me of the LAN Partys i had with my friends playing BF:Vietnam vs a ton of bots all night and trying to capture all bases while blasting Fortunate Son from one of the transport choppers! That was an absolute blast.
The future is as dark as ever, oh shoot someone's gonna poop the party. Free games that somehow can afford to employ Devs, even just time - out the modding community, might be great for us gamers, very short term. But nothings ever really free. Elsewhere, struggling developers actually have to sell something to pay to keep the lights on, can't compete. Another lot on the dole queue, popping anti depressants, wondering why they're dreams died. Oh well, no life no matter, there's a free shooter they can look forward to. Mark my words, in ten years, we'll be surrounded by free games, played on rent-a-hour cloud servers, while we wait for big Macs to get delivered on the back of some drone, digitally imitating to fight in battles our grand parents fought in. 9/10 who read this will just think I'm crazy and they're the ones who most need to understand their world is being destroyed and replaced with a "free" digital one. Guys this is why half the kids of today are medicated you the eye balls. We're but supposed to live like this, the future is horrific!
@@CameTo ok so big macs delievered by drone sounds kind of cool ngl at least initally. whats wrong with free games? and how would you have people live differently if everything is going to be so dark? So far I have been really enjoying OHD! I think some people haven't really been following the project and don't realize that it is a community made project and doesn't have a lot of content right now. Despite that, its super fun to hop into a server and play for a little while. Keep up the good work!
I have an idea! You should add (in my opinion) a custom loadout feature, here’s how it would work: in the menu there would be a LOADOUT section where you could modify your guns and choose guns to use in the battlefield, but if you wanted you could still play with the default classes. Btw THESE GAME SOUNDS ARE F*CKING AWESOME!!!!!
Only if the squad leader were able to make those custom classes. Because imagine me with medkit, AT-4, Javelin, and a Sniper at my bag running around. The thing is, the classes are made that way to give a balance to the game. Im not sure how would you enforce that balance giving players the ability to make custom classes.
Personally, I would prefer a loadout style like Takov, where you can modify guns and clothing for a raid, but rather into specific slots instead of inventory for this game. Without a stash of course and with the ability to safe loudouts. You could grind for new stock guns, mods, camos, more slots and further equipment etc. for those who want that.
Why not have ALL THESE OPTIONS and make them related to gamemode instead? Realism mode with Squad-like weapons, Casual mode with Battlefield-like loadout, Extract mode with Tarkov-like loadout, Semi-Realistic mode with Insurgency-like loadout.
I can’t believe this dude has to explain that it’s not a AAA release. Consumers are incredibly stupid, especially considering the insane amount of info they have their disposal. Awesome stuff guys.
He is just being egotistical, many of the bad reviews are calling out that hey why are people saying the game is automatically good because it’s free. Don’t just believe someone because they put their face on all the marketing.

This is something we really need for every game genre: Basic build with versatile engine and give as much mod support as possible. Awesome work! Also I really hope that discord realizes how powerful platform it can be for livestreaming and videos since it is private room with invite style of getting in. Hopefully it can stay like that aswell so all moronic laws about music copyrights and no swearing policies (and much "worse" things like seeing blood in a game) won't affect the streams/videos in discord.
We're so proud of what the team has done to this point, and I'm especially impressed with how you're reacting to the hilarious levels of salt after the early access launch. Keep your skin thick and your finger of the trigger. See you out there!

i just want to say, thank you. to your team, to you and the community, you've done for us no other triple A company or studio could ever do for us. and you should be proud. i send my best regards.
Can I just say, the fact you have mod makers doing part-time work on the development of the game itself, on top of having a pipeline for recruiting them into the dev team full-time is amazing to see. I love it when game devs and the modders of said games work together, it almost always results in amazing things.
@@proper9095 Well, modders finish all Bethesda's games, so that's normal on modding community. But you forgot that modders make mods because they like the game, not because they want compensation.
@@lucasmercadante1081 They didn't say finish, they said create. You are actually agreeing with the person you're trying to disagree with. Modders don't create a Bethesda game, they like the game and want to add to it. To have devs working on core development with the opportunity for a job is actually incentivizing devs/modders who want compensation. Not to say it's doomed, that just comes down to having skilled devs who believe in the project.
This honestly feels like a mix of Rising storm Vietnam and Squad but a more unpolished incomplete version. It doesn’t have the graphics of Squad or mechanics. This needs a lot more work. HOWEVER, for a free game this is massive.

I don't have enough time to dedicate getting good and be competitive in an fps game anymore, the Half Life mods like Day of Defeat, Team Fortress, Counter Strike were the glory days for me.
A. You’re a true dev with passion that’s facing the grit of producing a game like a champ. B. This is a hardcore shooter and uhhh it’s in the rice fields…how cool is that. C it’s open source so I see this as a possible new era to Counter Strike. I’m a 90s fps vet so I can say that with actual street cred. Good job on it and thank you for bringing in passion to gaming again. The community needs it badly and I think independent producers like you will bring a new era to FPS.
@@SexStarize I said it can be a “possible new era CS”. Meaning it has potential to be similar in style and greatness. CS was simple, two teams, decent range of weapons, arcade style but large enough maps to be tactical too, no loot, no micro transactions, just shoot, kill, trash talk, have fun.
Never heard of this game until TH-cam recommended this video to me. Looks pretty cool and the devs seem like great people. I’ll definitely be checking it out!

Honestly this game isn't super hard in the single player mode which is really good for accessibility when it comes to players like us, I'm also generally garbage at FPS games but can get along quite well in this
To me it feels there's way too many similar looking shooters out: Squad, ArmA, Ground Branch, Insurgency Sandstorm, Post Scriptum, Hell Let Loose, Rising Storm, to name a few. Then there are the big names like BF, CoD, CS. The bad thing of this is, the more such games are, the more the player base will be spread out and the faster some games die.

absolutely love how tactical and active this feels and looks, bullets flying everywhere but theyre not hitting you, because everybody uses supressing fire over long distances, imo that looks really good and i cant say ive been waiting for a game like that, but im glad it's here, really gives me the vibes of early Planetside 2 days with tens of players shooting everywhere
I am 100% impressed. I love to see you and your team work on this over the past few. 👏 This is incredible to see a small community bust out with such an awesome complex game on a self funded budget. Very, very cool. 😎
Don't have a PC. Don't play FPS games much any more. However, I applaud the effort and passion on display here. This is a lot of work, coordination, time invested here. I hope you guys keep the momentum and get to a full launch. Keep it up!
Hello, fellow game developer here, i just want to say, congratulations on such a great launch. Your team has a clear cut idea of what you want your game to be and that will be integral to your success. This is definitely the type of game i can see myself playing with friends when you just want to kick back and have a good time, similar to insurgency sandstorm in some ways but with a more true to life feel about it. What i will say is to take up a "the customer isnt right very often" approach, listen to feedback, but with a pinch of salt, the guy who wanted a battlepass for example? does he really think running around with a pink MG is going to make his gameplay experience better? The casual audience dominates the gaming market currently and they ruin a lot of triple A titles for the dedicated / competitve audiences, which for you and developers like you means you have a massive gap in the market for dedicated players. Casual players dont even know what they want in games, the amount of times ive seen casual players of games complain to have something changed, only to get it changed and complain about it even still, its best not to listen to such people or let it drown out the voices of people who can see your teams vision. i hope to see more about your game and pray for its success, good luck to you and your team
>"the guy who wanted a battlepass for example?" There are now gamers who are like what 18? Who may have only ever known Free-To-Play and Micro-transactions. This to them could be the norm, I hope we don't end up with it being the hailed model for games in the decades to come.
@@master0fnone i hadnt thought about it like that, now i feel old despite only being 20 hhahah i do think youre right on the mark however, kids were brought up on that model, they might not know any better, this is the gaming equivalent of our parents telling us to go outside and enjoy ourselves but instead we sat playing our consoles, perhaps they will never know what theyre missing out on, thinking about it like that saddens me a little i think it could also be the gaming curve that all gamers experience, where you go through your honeymoon phase but come out of it thinking maybe you dont enjoy video games, when in actuality youre just longing for a different experience, or perhaps in this case something with more life and love behind it, i know after my honeymoon phase i pulled away from these triple A games that pushed microtransactions and the works to more simple things, experiences, valheim for example is a title i have fallen in love with as of late id like to assume that even these new gen gamers will eventually come out of the honeymoon phase of microtransactions and battlepasses to find games like valheim, maybe even going back to visit old classics like nier automata etc
Truly a revolutionary idea. Love it! I'm glad your expectations and transparency are very reasonable, it's refreshing that you are clearly community oriented and honest about what to expect and what your goals are, and are sticking to your guns. Super cool idea and I can't wait to play all the amazing things people come up with!
I've played the game since last week. I played OHD for a few hours and I have to say, it's a solid game; it is amazing. The game has potential, but there are definitely some areas that need improvement. The maps were fun to play but could use more variety. The gunplay was decent, but not entirely realistic. OHD is a great game for those who enjoy tactical shooters. Although, the single-player mode was disappointing, with overpowered AI and issues playing as a sniper. However, I would argue that this would only get better with time. I hope over time they would continue to improve single-player for people like me who prefer single-player over multiplayer modes. The multiplayer was fun, but there weren't enough servers available. Mod support was good, but it can be confusing to use. Overall, a decent game with some flaws that could be improved upon with further development. Thank you for making this game a reality. Like I said, this game is amazing, and I highly recommend it.

I appreciate the humbleness of what to expect, and the emphasis on crowd funding/ community support and accessibility over mainstream appeal and monetization. I’ll definitely be checking this game out
I hope this development team keeps the same energy they have now all the way down the road. I’m thinking of giving this game a shot just to have something different to play.. possibly with my buddies. If this game looks like this video does, I’m down to sacrifice the qualities of a AAA game
The game is too janky, too empty, too unfinished to be released. They ignored everyone and did it anyways. What we're left with is a boringly generic and janky military shooter with the hopes that modders will save the game and make it... Fun.
@@rtsrt165 i think this is an amazing idea, developing a game as a community effort. thanks to modding this game lots of possibilities, like the 3rd person option shown in the video, can be explored. i wouldn't expect it to entertain me for more than a few hours but i'll just check it out again in a month.

The third person mod looks amazing. SOCOM was my first online shooter experience ever on PS2 and this mod has serious SOCOM vibes and brings back great memories. The issue is with the other half of complaints which is almost exclusively due to a lack of anticheat and a vote kick system. Either will help solve the problem but some kind of fix is a pretty necessary step for a functioning game. In all honesty im holding off playing until the game seems playable and has content
Ive been playing since it was available to play this month and i have to say im impressed by whats on offer here. Ive been following the updates here on this channel and in no way was it over hyped. I knew going in this would be more of a "platform" for a tactical shooter than a full game and on that aspect im not disappointed. I feel like everyone involved with the project should be proud of what they have created. This game has a lot of potential and from the outset the goal was to create a platform for free that anyone could join if they were looking for a tactical shooter experience, or those who are interested in games like Ground Branch, Squad, Hell Let Loose or the other great games of the tactical shooter variety. I feel like the community support and modding community will turn this game into something special. And as someone who grew up with no internet and playing against bots im really impressed by the single player mode thats on offer here. In general the base game is bare bones but with a solid foundation, and I fully believe in the vision that the devs have for this game and really hope that in the future this platform is embraced by the TS community and great content gets made for it. I wish Bluedrake and the dev team for OHD all the best. Im really glad in a market where gamers are lied to and taken advantage of, you all stayed true to what you said you would set out to do and what you have created reflects what you said you would create.

@@AllanoizTM I would rather have loot boxes than the battle pass, look at overwatch 2

If anyone is curious about a non-biased opinion on the game. A legit review from a player. Here it is:
-Little to no player base. 2 Server about 90% full most days
-Game already has Tarkov level cheaters despite only being out for 4 months. This amplified further because of the already tiny player base. Some games, one guy will end the match with 150/0 K/D, meanwhile the average I’ve seen for most people is anywhere between 10-20
-Despite have 200+ hours on the game, I’ve played the same 2 maps for most of that time. Map rotation is existent, but seems not be random.
-No incentive to work as a team, most matches just end up being one big mash where one teams caps a point a defends it perfectly for 30 mins. Giving them the win by default.
-Gun play is on par with other military sim fps, shooting weaponry feels meaningful
-The maps I did get to play were enjoyable and VERY diverse.

@@RenanMsV_YT Take inspiration from Insurgency. Specific classes with good customization.
I think it should be more like ground branch... 1 primary 1 secondary and 1 special with custom belt plate carrier etc

The word socom brings back so many beautiful late night memories into my nostalgic mind 😌 ty
I look forward to playing this and hopefully growing the attention and attraction to this game! It reminds me of how games used to be, and I miss that! Thank you for your game!
Basically the definition of "this is why we have nice things". Thank you for working so hard on this.
The gaming space needs more of this, great job here, I believe my FPS days are in the past but this is sure a breath of fresh air. Keep up the great work.
I don't have enough time to dedicate getting good and be competitive in an fps game anymore, the Half Life mods like Day of Defeat, Team Fortress, Counter Strike were the glory days for me.
@@00Clive00 you don't have to be super competetive, I just go in and shoot stuff.
How can you compare something as good and ancient like CS with this?
@@SexStarize I said it can be a “possible new era CS”. Meaning it has potential to be similar in style and greatness. CS was simple, two teams, decent range of weapons, arcade style but large enough maps to be tactical too, no loot, no micro transactions, just shoot, kill, trash talk, have fun.

To me it feels there's way too many similar looking shooters out:
Squad, ArmA, Ground Branch, Insurgency Sandstorm, Post Scriptum, Hell Let Loose, Rising Storm, to name a few.
Then there are the big names like BF, CoD, CS.
The bad thing of this is, the more such games are, the more the player base will be spread out and the faster some games die.

>"the guy who wanted a battlepass for example?"
There are now gamers who are like what 18? Who may have only ever known Free-To-Play and Micro-transactions. This to them could be the norm, I hope we don't end up with it being the hailed model for games in the decades to come.
@@master0fnone i hadnt thought about it like that, now i feel old despite only being 20 hhahah
i do think youre right on the mark however, kids were brought up on that model, they might not know any better, this is the gaming equivalent of our parents telling us to go outside and enjoy ourselves but instead we sat playing our consoles, perhaps they will never know what theyre missing out on, thinking about it like that saddens me a little
i think it could also be the gaming curve that all gamers experience, where you go through your honeymoon phase but come out of it thinking maybe you dont enjoy video games, when in actuality youre just longing for a different experience, or perhaps in this case something with more life and love behind it, i know after my honeymoon phase i pulled away from these triple A games that pushed microtransactions and the works to more simple things, experiences, valheim for example is a title i have fallen in love with as of late
id like to assume that even these new gen gamers will eventually come out of the honeymoon phase of microtransactions and battlepasses to find games like valheim, maybe even going back to visit old classics like nier automata etc
@@master0fnone I think 18 is still old enough to have grown up with games that didn't have these business models.
this is exciting to see, props to you guys for building this
Truly a revolutionary idea. Love it! I'm glad your expectations and transparency are very reasonable, it's refreshing that you are clearly community oriented and honest about what to expect and what your goals are, and are sticking to your guns. Super cool idea and I can't wait to play all the amazing things people come up with!
0:34 Bluedrake, that Guy wasn't Brainwashed, he was *Braindead*
I hope someone makes a meme mod about that on the workshop. A DLC mod where you have to play for 9000 hours to unlock the first weapon skin.

The guy at the start of the video really is a good at shooting trees and bushes
If I could play this game right now, I would, great job man
I hope this development team keeps the same energy they have now all the way down the road.

@@JACpotatos i meant flaws as in the corporate dirty schemes. Like battle pass, ridiculous price etc. I dont consider graphics and bugs as flaws because those things exist alongside every game so its pointless to consider the omnipotent
From what i can see, half of the negative feedback is due lack of content, which for a community driven game is fine. The issue is with the other half of complaints which is almost exclusively due to a lack of anticheat and a vote kick system. Either will help solve the problem but some kind of fix is a pretty necessary step for a functioning game. In all honesty im holding off playing until the game seems playable and has content
I love devs making games like this free for the enjoyment of others and mainly for that fact (plus I like the style of it) Imma try this out.
You like the "realistic" style?
lemme just add this to library...looking forward to the end result
Im really glad in a market where gamers are lied to and taken advantage of, you all stayed true to what you said you would set out to do and what you have created reflects what you said you would create.
as someone who hasn't followed this at all, what differentiates this game from squad - more comprehensive mod support and faster sprint speed?
@@quadconjures I mean first of all it is free. Secondly it's got an actual proper singleplayer instead of solo map exploring and no AI. And finally it's probably not got the same systems as squad. The mod gameplay shown helis, tanks and logi trucks but the standalone? I don't know if it's in there. It's less of an overall team co-op and more of a large team shooter game.
@@OnlyGrafting I think you're confusing squad with Arma or insurgency? Squad has a huge overlap with all of those features, on top of very similar visual, audio, map, and game play design

I am extremely excited for this game. And I just now found out about it from this video. You seem to be going against the grain with a sort of 'screw battlepasses' take. So I, and probably many others. Hope that this is an ideal that holds later on down the line. And that this game doesn't end up as just another abandoned project for the pile. Stay strong OHD devs.
