The Best Kept Secret--Angel's Peak! (6-05)

New Mexico is full of wonders, but Angel's Peak is one of the more obscure. After years of travel to this area, we finally discovered Angel's Peak just a couple of years ago. Boondocking up in this area always seemed elusive, but not anymore. This is a badlands area that rivals South Dakota for its beauty and color. If you live in the west, it sin't really all that out of the way. Not far from Albuquerque, Chaco Canyon, Bisti Wilderness and other attractions, it is well worth the visit. Even if you are not camping, it isn't far some very nice Hotel/Motels in the Bloomfield and Farmington areas.
