PART 2: Up the Ohio River: Cave in Rock! (7-08)

We end our day in one of the most incredible geological sites I've ever seen!
Cave in rock is enormous and has a long and bloody history--at least by legend. Known as an early pirates cave, it was also designed to lure wealthy, lonely river travelers into a bit of civilization. According to legend, it was their last experience in a vibrant environment, as they were robbed and often killed as they enjoyed booze, gambling and "women"!

We were then off to our campsite right in the Cave in Rock State Park. As it seems to be the case, we were pretty much alone as the campground was pretty much empty!
