So fun man, thanks for the laughs it helped ease the pain of letting them go… once again I’m honored to have contributed to your collection. I think GNR would be proud of trading for a amp 😄🤘🏻
You guys sold that great, it was really funny. I would still love to know the name of the show you were spoofing though, LMAO. Keep on rockin big Willy🤘😈🍻
I had a mint OG of Lies, my personal GNR favorite. Not sure if I had a first press because I didn't know about the different cover. I know longer have it. I believe they put Live Like A Suicide on Side B. I don't hate Spaghetti Incident like most do. The Charles Manson cover is interesting. Would love to have a first press original cover Appetite. Everyone's Grail, lol. I actually knew a kid who had one in highschool. He bought it before they blew up on MTV. He didn't know who they were, just liked the cover. Pretty sure it's worth bookoo bucks now. Guns is overplayed, but in the 80s they were Rock Gods.
So one of my best friends for the last 45 years is "Mr. Jim" Catania who drummed for the Misfits during the Status Age recording era. The reason I bring this up is because Guns N' Roses covered Attitude on that Spaghetti Incident record. Also Metallica covered Last Caress on their EP Garage Days Re-revisited. Not many people can say that 2 famous bands have copied their musical contributions! Jim and I have spent many fun hours in the studio putting together new creations.
Did you ever get to see GNR live? I saw them twice - once with Izzy and once after he left. Axl pitched a fit both times but came back and finished both shows. They were an amazing live band.
I saw them on the Use Your Illusion Tour, right before the original band disbanded. Was that 1990? I don't remember. It was in Chicago. Our tickets/seats were actually behind the stage! That's how popular they were, they sold out every single seat, including obstructed view seats, and they were expensive. However they ended up being cool. First, got to see the guys walk around backstage before the show, and all the techs and stage hands doing their thing you usually don't get to see. Axl and Slash even half-ass waved to us, lol. Another cool thing was that backstage each member had their own little tent for costume changes. Axl also had and oxygen tank. The clothes were Stage clothes with Velcro that ripped off and on fast. We could see stage hands helping him quickly change and put an oxygen mask on. Also cool was that a little known band called Smashing Pumpkins opened, playing their first and only album at the time, Gish. To be honest barely anyone watched them. The house lights stayed on. Most went to piss or buy merch and snacks. Billy had long hair back then. I watched them and they actually turned and played to us since most in front obviously didn't care, that was cool. I remember thinking these guys might be big someday... LoL. The sucky thing is that Guns didn't come on till almost 3 hours after Pumpkins. That was the Axl won't play till he's ready phase. They came on at like 11 PM. But they played like 3 hours, and they played their asses off! It was a very late night, but a memorable one...
I actually have all those and a promo of Appetite with the rare cover / type-written Geffen letter explaining who gnr is and black and white glossy from 87. Not selling, but I sold my still-sealed US Spaghetti Incident orange and kept my Import Spaghetti. Both had " look at your game girl".I had the CD of the 99 live album and kept my vinyl sealed to this day.The original UZIs the only thing I need by them
I'll give ya $20 for that OG Appetite. Not sure if you know this but everyone is buying those new CD things and nobody cares about vinyl anymore. I'm actually doing you a favor. Message me...
I just got that snake pit covered tattooed on my arm. I’m still looking for a copy of it for my collection. I have a copy of lies translucent vinyl still in the shrink but opened to play.
Hey Dillon, I managed to find the mystery song that you made a video about a few years ago. The song about buffalos and an arrow caught in the act of flying.
Woohoo, so mine might be worth about $12 Canadian lol!!!! (EDIT: Neat fact about the photo on the rolling paper--it's also the back cover photo of the 8-track version of Big Bambu.)
Thank you Dillion for adding a little comedy to your channel & definitely do some more skit with some different friends/customers. Also if you could please explain at the end, as to exactly what makes each LP rare or more valuable. I know some history about rock LP’s but am not an expert on G & R.
Dylan, you should purchase a TASCAM DA-3000 Stereo Master Recorder and AD/DA Converter. Now that you have a high end turtable, you can archive lps to DSD. That way you can sell those high dollar value lps and still have a great recording to playback for your personal enjoyment at the highest fidelity. If you want to keep pricey lps, only play the lp once to record it. Then only playback the DSD file so you don't have to put any wear on the vinyl. Just a suggestion. 🙂

Not sure about their 45s, though I have a lot of them. I'm guessing the Appetite and Lies era singles are much easier to find than the others. Not sure about now, though the only Illusions 45 I saw several copies of was You Could Be Mine b/w Civil War. Fun fact: Only the first (and maybe second?) GnR 45 had an edit/remix version of the song. Axl demanded all GnR singles were never altered or edited. Even November Rain has the full album version on one side of the 45! (Its quality isn't too good.)

Great spoof (I really wish you would've said what show you were spoofing. Must be a funny show about records. LMAO.), Great records, great video! It's always cool to check out some records that you never heard of and that's what I did today watching the video. How much does the spaghetti incident go for? Me and my friends all hated that album, only one of us got burned by it and we all made fun of that son of a gun for a while. The spaghetti incident was one of the nails in the coffin that quickly buried Guns N' Roses I could see it going for a couple of bucks because they probably didn't press a lot of that album on vinyl back then most fans don't even know it exists because it was such a dud that got next to no radio play after guns and roses started losing popularity and fading away after being pushed aside by grunge and the Seattle explosion after rocking everybody's socks off with dynamite tracks for years. I got a really awesome Guns N' Roses bootleg tape at a flea market when I was in high school A couple years before the use your Illusion albums hit stores. It was a great tape of studio demos, they did sympathy for the Devil (not the horrible way they did it for interview with a vampire.),2 different versions of jumping Jack flash that sounded completely different, heartbreak Hotel, A version of November rain that was completely different than The use your Illusion track and a bunch of other rocking studio demos from appetite, lies and stuff that wound up being on the use your Illusion albums. Guns and roses will always be one of my favorite bands, I witnessed the best and worst of both worlds, I went to see them at the spectrum for a show that never happened that got really ugly and I saw them on their last tour at Lincoln financial Field where they rocked the house for over 3 hours with everything you wanted to hear and only a couple tracks that nobody was interested in from Chinese democracy. They definitely still got it, they never lost it, they just couldn't stand being around each other anymore, they still hate each other, you can't blame them for cashing in with a tour though, Axl and slash were on completely opposite sides of the stage, The closest they ever got to each other was over 100ft, it didn't make a damn of difference to anybody, everybody there was going bananas all night while guns and roses were rocking out on stage. Great video today! Interesting and funny! Wake up late and honey put on your clothes and take your credit card to the liquor store, well that's 1 for you n 2 for me,by tonight....

I remember an episode of Pawn Stars where a guy brings in one of those Who Live At Leeds with all the inserts. Rick's son thinks it's a big deal and gives him a lot of money for it (can't remember how much). I'm yelling at my TV telling him how dumb he is. At the end of the show he's showing Rick and he gets mad at him too.
That Slash is a grail of mine. Commands stupid money though. I had to settle for the counterfeit… I mean unofficial… but it works for me I guess. Cool to see one here in the US. Most seem to be overseas. Love the Spaghetti Incident? album. I just bought a South Korean pressing of it. I am pretty stoked about it. Live Like a Suicide is neat to see as well. I’ve never heard that live Guns album before. Pretty cool collection.
Sold a few things today. Got a few decent prices, but also got a slap in the face from a store owner that offered me $65.00 for four records. Problem was, one of them was the Siamese Dream reissue, which have been selling for about $150.00!!!! Needless to say, I held on to it.
Could you maybe ask the next guy/gal who brings in cool stuff if it is okay if you record it for the channel (could give him like 5 % better offer, because you may make some YT-money) and do these non-scripted? I think this would be so mega-cool, I am always eavesdropping whenever I am in a store and someone tries to sell stuff and find it mega interesting! Pawn Stars is something a lot of us watch when we don't want to think too much and just relax but often its just soooo cringey and forced that you feel stupid just watching it. I bet you could make a really great format out of this and even attract more sellers! :)

He might not have known, last time I got one I had no idea they had gone up so much.
@@noblerecords As a shop owner, can you confirm Mike’s statement?
Could you maybe ask the next guy/gal who brings in cool stuff if it is okay if you record it for the channel (could give him like 5 % better offer, because you may make some YT-money) and do these non-scripted? I think this would be so mega-cool, I am always eavesdropping whenever I am in a store and someone tries to sell stuff and find it mega interesting! Pawn Stars is something a lot of us watch when we don't want to think too much and just relax but often its just soooo cringey and forced that you feel stupid just watching it.
I bet you could make a really great format out of this and even attract more sellers! :)
You ever see a Yardbirds Live at the Anderson Theatre- featuring Jimmy Page LP( quickly withdrawn 1971- then reissued mail order quickly withdrawn)??? What's it worth? You aren't getting mine lol.
Is it true that the old man in your store was looking for Judas Priest and Iron Maiden on vinyl ?
Yes! He’s a real ripper
Love G and R so much
Nice pawn stars homage
Thanks for watching! 🙏
Enjoyed the skit..lol
Great skit!
Actually my big brother instinct started right away because I saw your "I've got to sell my record collection because of more important matters with family, etc.
Take it all with a prayer and a grain of salt, brother.

How much for the spaghetti incident?
Not sure yet. It’ll be in the shop in a couple weeks probably
It does have " look at your game girl" even though it's not listed
@@dawnpatrol700 there’s also a Zodiac killer inscription at the bottom of the front cover… I’ll let you do the research on what it says 😆
@@NBKwillydog yeah I remember reading about that.

Thanks for watching! 🙏
so you play "Pawn Stars"??? Please don't, just tell us what you pay for the records, all the info we need :-)
It was a joke and he said so. I don't even watch TV and I knew they were parodying that show. All that matters is the dude left happy, plus with a good amp in the deal.
Otherwise Dillon has referred people check out Popsike or Discogs for record values.
For these it was cash and trade for an amp.
@@noblerecords I was just kidding, you see so many videos of people buying great collections, but next to nowhere you hear the numbers, I mean how much they paid. And I know why, that's ok.
😂
Acting isn't your thing, stick to keeping it real.
Don’t worry, I’m aware 🤣
