I feel like you guys missed the fact that (unless we're playing this wrong), this is also a bluffing game. If you can talk before making a decision on whether you get off (and really you should talk , it makes it much more fun), then the captain always has an incentive to lie. Either they have the cards, in which case they want everybody to get off and get lesser treasures, or they don't have the cards and want everyone to die with them. Of course you can't lie every time, or no one believes you, so it becomes like poker. When my six-year-old plays it there's a lot of "I'm sorry daddy, I don't have the cards, you should probably get off now" while she turns bright red from lying.
I love bluffing, and co-operative games too, this is a game I adore too. There is a version of it at Tabletop Simulator, it was fun with many people laughing and being friendly too.
I've been wondering for ages why people keep asking about cooking videos. The end of this shows me why. The reviews are always excellent, but I find them most excellent when any two of you are involved.
See, people bemoan the fact that the 'magic' of 'Top' Gear was impossible to replicate, but SUASD have been accomplishing that same alchemic feat effortlessly for years. They just have. In a sense. Haven't they? No? Just me? Really? Christ almighty :-/
The thing people find hard to accept is that Top Gear wasn't that special. It was great, don't get me wrong, but it's been done before and since top gear ended
Try boiling them until almost done, then roll them in a mixture of salt/pepper/paprika/Cayenne/whatever else you like, then deep fry. This is essentially the recipe for the Spanish patatas bravas.
Thanks for being so hospitable to your American viewers (my broiler and I send a warm "thank you"). However, what you fine gentlemen in the UK refer to as courgettes I have only ever seen called zucchini or, less specifically, squash. I plan to use your recipe for breakfast this weekend, it looks delicious.
While zucchini are technically a squash, calling them "squash" is just wrong. It is correct to use the term for acorn squash, butternut squash or any similar thing where you do not eat the skin.

What. I have watched two old SU&SD and when did they start and then stop doing recipe videos? What and why. Seriously, this is buck. wild. This is crazy
What is the recipe doing there? I’ve only seen the more recent reviews. Still , it’s a great review, and I like frittata. The need to dry the veg is a good point…
The game would be a whole lot better if the special ability cards actually had text on them explaining their use. But I guess that was done to make the game region free besides the manual. Other than that, game is purdy good.
first time viewer just now doing a mini marathon of sorts, but why did these gents throw in a mini cooking show along with the game board reviews? not complaining, just curious
Old comment, but it may be a call back to earlier episodes. When Matt first did video episodes he did a series called The Opener which was lighter intro game reviews + a recipe based on the theme. This seems like a light opener game along those lines so maybe it’s a thematic call back.

Just realized you're 100percent correct
The thing people find hard to accept is that Top Gear wasn't that special. It was great, don't get me wrong, but it's been done before and since top gear ended
But without being twats.
I love your reviews and recipes. Something about the combination feels unique yet familiar.
Yes! I'm pretty inspired to go check out Incan Gold *AND* to go to the store and fetch some fritata makings! Thanks.
check to see if Diamant is available in your area. It's the same game, but a lucious nee art and better components.
@04:26 Rocket Chair? That's obviously the time machine for The Time Machine (1960)
Frankly I'm more intrested in how to make those lovely potatoes.
They look so good!

Just made this Frittata for my wife and I on our 10 year anniversary, it was delicious, thank you for the inspiration!
After all these years, I still come back and watch this video to get the recipe for a frittata. It always turns out perfect!
review and a recipe, how do you beat that?
With a whisk, apparently.
Matt...I wasn't thinking about it until YOU TOLD ME NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT!
I don't know if I should save this to my games playlist or my cooking playlist
I never knew I wanted a cooking and board game show until right now
Every recipe episode is a delightful surprise
reporting from October 2019. So glad you did not get fired. Long live the frittata!
Please break the rules more often so we can have both games and cooking. What a great combo!
This is the first review I have watched of yours, but it certainly won't be the last. Great job!

I thought "courgette" was just French for zucchini and these guys were just being cheeky by calling them that.
Isn’t a Courgette a U.S. sports car?
can su&sd do a review on brexit
oh my god I am so sorry for saying this I didn't think it would actually happen
John Smith sad times
I don’t see how citizens voting for less foreign government oversight is bad thing.

Brilliant review - as usual !
I rewatch this often for the fritata recipe
The giant hand is the mastermind behind the show.
On another note, just what I thought, Cloud 9 reimplemented.
What. I have watched two old SU&SD and when did they start and then stop doing recipe videos? What and why. Seriously, this is buck. wild. This is crazy
Same here. I just watched Paul make cookies after the Isle of Skye review. No idea what was happening back then.
Now i want a SUSD Reccomends home-made food recipes series

This is golden! Ordered this game today but now I think I'll make the recipe as well 🤤
Is your flat bigger on the inside? That door looks a lot like a Tardis :)
Quick tip: if you whisk the whites and the yolks separately and then mix them, it is even tastier.
I don't know whether to add this to my "Games I need to play" playlist, or my "FOOOOOOOOOOOD" playlist
Why does Matt have a diamond shape on the bridge of his nose? Is he made of cardboard too?
Just watching this video. 2 years late. And Shut Up and Sit Down should totally make more cooking videos !
Ooo-hoo-HOO! Cool Crimes Quin got his arse saved! Why'd Matt cook this frittata if Quin broke the rule, tho? 🤔
I miss the Shut Up and Sit down recipes. I've made this frittata many times i'ts quite good.
Just found this on sale. Can't wait to play with my work group at lunch!
Excellent Review
Good call on the Incan Gold disclaimer. Well worth risking your job over.
If you salt the eggs before cooking they will dry out too fast

Other than that, game is purdy good.
What?
"It's in the charter."
Matt, I need a roommate. MA, USA. Hope that's not a problem.
When ya makin' a vegetable frittata for a good friend...
A déjà vu is a glitch in the matrix.
Haven't you uploaded this video before?
They're slowly uploading all their old videos to TH-cam, as well as the new stuff. So it's quite possible you've watched this video before.
If I saw a pussy walk past me and then the same pussy walk past me again soon after...
Let's get E X T R A V A G A N T !
Kinda reminds me to Senlin Ascends.
Green screen effects!? So classy!
Mint?
I miss the cooking segments. :)
thanks so much. jerks. Now I'm hungry. I need to go to the store and find those potatoes. Great work on the egg thing.
Matt, pleas for the love of God start a cooking channel.

Um, I want the potato recipe? Please? They look amazing :)
I wouldn't be surprised if they were frozen hash brown things that you can do in the oven. Very handy to have some in the freezer.
Mmm Waitrose Rosti
Love the Fritata!
those knife skills
They really made a frittata.
More light and whimsical recipes 😁
Were those "Whites" references y'all were making?
Thumbs up solely for The Archers theme.
You guys eat very healthily for Brits, your student digs was not a takeaway household (probably). When are you reviewing Scythe, Doomhaven etc ?
More potatoes....I mean...Reviews!
Brilliant!
Makes a veg whatever with a load of fruits.
More cooking!!!
Wonkey Willie's!
