      @JohnJacobs Bird had a bum body but mentally he blew both KD and Lebron away, and that's why he's better than both. KD got triggered just b/c someone said some on twitter so he's out immediately. Bird would not pass the last shots to someone else even tho he's a heck of passer so Lebron is out as well. You never found a game where Bird played timidly due to the sheer pressure of the game, and yet you saw it happening to both KD and Lebron.

    No player... no player has ever dominated the game in more ways than bird. Today’s game couldn’t handle him. People throw athleticism and his lack of it? That’s what’s wrong with today’s game and how this generation sees the game. They couldn’t mentally handle bird or any ofvthe players who were at his level then. He beat you is so many ways and ruined you mentally along the way. What he’d do in today’s game would be unreal. Its not really debatable. He’d dominate and he knows it and that makes him great... beautiful arrogance of the player

    • @Larryeffect
      @Larryeffect 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We haven't seen one because there hasn't been one as good as him period. And I think he'd do great. He moved actually pretty well on the court between 79-88. And not to call him strong is crazy. The guy averaged over 10 rebounds his career playing next to a 7 footer (Parish) and a 6'10 guy (McHale) and battled guys like Kareem, Barkley, Moses Malone, Karl Malone, Dennis Rodman, Olajuwon, etc, etc. There's no telling how many free throws he would get each game nowadays because the game is called way in more favor in the offensive player. And heck most of the people who post these days never saw him play and are brain washed by the ESPN crush on Lebron James. It's pathetic over on that website. And fundamentals are a lost art for sure in today's game. He'd dominate.

    • @jakedooley5300
      @jakedooley5300 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nahor88, you're delusional and a casual if you think bird wouldn't dominate today, bird would shut down leflop no problem, the level of skill and talent was alot better back then, all they do now is shoot threes, Jordan and birds dynasty teams would sweep the warriors or LeBron's team

    • @bumblebeesports2550
      @bumblebeesports2550 ปีที่แล้ว

      any of the greats from 80's and 90's would crush today's all star NBA team every year, especially with today's rule. "unathletic" bird toying with the most athletic players in that era, and believe me, they play rough ball, so i'll never understand the statement that Bird wouldn't make it against today's soft players in a soft rule NBA.
