Today's automotive Beautified video we are finally at the stage to give this old Acura Integra a brand new paint job! We have been waiting sometime to get everything prepped and ready, but we finally arrived at our favorite step. We knew the moment we purchased this car that it would look beautiful in Nardo Gray.
We were fortune enough to have our close friend Nolan join us on the show! Nolan is a professional auto body painter - and we definitely wanted to get this right.

I painted my Corvette in my garage, came out so nice I didn’t cut and buff it and still won shows. I’m about to paint my overlanding Van with the same color as your Teggy. I’ll be adding a bit of black just to be a bit darker. Nice job though!

I been using a small air compressor for the last year but plan on getting a turbine sprayer soon. Fuji Q5 platinum.

@@BeautyGarageYT I don't know if it the quality of paint was using or the small air compressor I used, or the way I set up my spray gun but never got a really good paint job yet. If this new turbine sprayer I get my paint job look a lot better probably was because of the 5 stage turbine getting more air which my small 26 gallon air compressor is between 5.4-5.6 cfm. I should be getting it before the next two weeks wanna put a video of me using it when I paint again my vehicle. Gonna sand it with 400 grit before that though and wash the dust off with soap and water and then clean with a wax and grease remover but the next time gonna use a fast reducer urethane fast reducer I got Nason. Been going to Auto Value store this year and they have activators, hardners and paint in there plus Nason products.

Nice paint job! But im also interested in the plastic set up to not get overspray in the garage. Was it a run to home depot for the plastic and some electrical tape to close each side?

Love that nardo grey, going to paint my hatch that color as well. Wanted to know if it's better to take off panels and bumpers to paint or leave them on the car?
Definitely remove any panels if you can. It’s much more likely you’ll get more accurate angles - and don’t miss spots.

grill and bumper lip should off been painted too
You guys should have removed the door panels and painted the inside of the doors would have been a wicked finish but nice paint still.

How many gallons of paint did you need to get her painted?
1 gallon primer, 2 gallons paint, 1 gallon clear coat. 😊

@@theethuntv 1 coat of the primer/sealant, 2 coats of paint, and 2 coats of clear with a 3rd flow/wet coat.
What brand of paint
We used Sherwin-Williams.
