Figured we'd start off our Monday with a bang and cover SHMUP terms!
This is a project I worked on in December of last year and then never got around to using. I was in LordShmup's stream yesterday chatting with OneMoreQuarter and he brought up the topic of SHMUP lingo, which immediately had me thinking about how this commentary file was just sitting in a folder. Needless to say, this episode is dedicated to OMQ.
Disclaimer: This is a 50min video and about 10,000 words spanning approximately 130 terms. In the event I've missed something, fumbled a meaning, etc - bear with me as it was a ton of work writing this up last year amidst other projects.

We don't often do dedications but sometimes certain peeps are the only reason something gets done! (Shikhondo review coming out in a day or two is another example) We had to dedicate this one to you! Even though 95% of the project was already done, who knows if it would have actually been used had you not mentioned something plus just throwing it over video, so thanks for that man! Stoked you enjoyed it. Our favorite part is the definition for naked haha we had some good chuckles over adding the delay in commentary. Have a wicked start to the week bro! There may be some slight inaccuracies or things I didn't go too in depth with but trusting it helps most peeps at least have an expanded STG vocab. I have an in-depth review of Risk System coming out soon and a first installment of a SHMUP Survival Guide mini series. I feel it will coincide nicely with our chats!

Yeah considering I reference the game 20 times ha! Vasara is so good! One of my all-time favorite STG experiences during both of those titles. Thank for checking this out! I was glad to finally put this to use!

It’s one of those things where a no-miss is still a 1cc but a 1cc isn’t a no-miss unless that condition is also met during the run.
