Recently inside Friendly Junk Journal People, I was asked, how do I use postage stamps? That prompted me to share the following Postage Stamp Embellishment Tutorial. In the video, I show how I use postage stamps as focal points on a mini paper bag and journal card. I also show a few other examples and ideas where Postage Stamps can be used.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this video! You have so many cool ideas and tips in addition to how to incorporate stamps. (I, too, have an old dictionary I got at Goodwill that I use for my projects, but I never knew what to do with my saved postage stamps:)
I LOVE that altered paperclip!!!! What a great little gift idea! (I'm thinking I will put one on a card with a message to my "recipient" to remove it and use it as they wish:)
PS You are right about not worrying about rushing to place embellishments with ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever. EVEN if you waited days (months...years!), you would still be able to use the tiny dots of glue because when the glue dries it stays TACKY. In fact, if you wait just a little bit after applying the glue, it starts to get even tackier than when it came out of the bottle, making the transfer from Embellie Gellie even easier.

Oh Linda - I LOVE those ideas!! I have some old stamps myself, and this is a great idea to use them on cards, tags and such :-) Gosh I just love your words you made with your Silhouette!! Oh and your stencils you made on your Cricket - I LOVE t hose!! You save alot of money by making your own :-)

Oh okay. I thought it would save you money buying the plastic to make them as to apposed to buying them already made from my boyfriend Mr Holtz :-)
LOL sure, after the expense of the machine, blade and mat. lol the plastic costs nothing. ;) But it really is fun being able to design my own stencils. I'm dreaming up new designs all the time now. :)

I've been wondering how to use the stamps I have your tutorial has kick started the creative juices flowing. I have to ask where did you get all those diamontes from I'm in need of more and those look fantastic .

Have you ever used Art Glitter Glue? If so, which do you like best and do you find one less expensive than the other? Thank you.
I've not really used art glitter glue, but one of my friends said that she loves that glue. I use the Best Glue Ever when I have a special item I want to adhere down and regular Aleene's Tacky glue won't work. I've had a bottle of the Best Glue ever for over two years using it in this fashion so it lasts a long time and I feel the price is very affordable.
