Beautiful, with our queen-mother Juliana in the midle. Love it, thank you. 💚
Thank you so much Maria - it is a beautiful image of Juliana :)
Fab little piece... love the background 👍🏻👩🏻🎨
Thanks so much - it was useful having some background papers already made :)
Absolutely gorgeous, dear Kylie! Love your Paper Dolls, so very artsy and unique!
Many thanks for your kind comment Evelyn :)
So cute - so creative!
Many thanks Debbe :)
what an absolutely brill idea! i often swap human and animal body parts around but this is so much more gentle. thanks xxx
Thanks so much - glad you like it :) xoxo
Hi Kylie, love your paper dolls idea, this would look great in a collage as well, Thanks for the inspiration.x💕🏴
Hi Catherine - thanks so much and yes, this is ideal for collage X
Great tip about lining up the shoulders....it also helps with proportion of head to body...
Thanks Neora - yes lining up the shoulders is what makes this work - sometimes the head may be a little bit out of proportion but that's ok because it's not as obvious if it's been matched :)
Very clever and creative, Kylie. I love this idea. Have a grand week.
Thanks so much Cheryl - hope you are having a great week :)
This was lovely,,,,xxx 👏😊💕
Many thanks Annie xoxo
Love your postage stamp people Kylie 💕 xo
Thanks so much Nina
WOW 😮 WOW 😮 WOW 😮 Amazing Kylie, I really really love 💕 these stamp people are fantastic. I’ve never seen this before either, and I really really think 🤔 it’s a great 👍 idea 💡 too. You and Nina have made two different ideas 💡 with stamps and both are really really awesome too. I can see this would be good if like me, don’t have to many stamps to play with. Thank you so much Kylie. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thanks so much Mags - I'm so pleased you like this and I do hope you give it a go - it's fun seeing how stamps can be matched up with images. Take care xoxo
hi Kylie.. you’ve given a beautiful wet, rainy feel to you’re image .. thank you
Thank you Dianna :)
I really do like one,a great way to use up paper dolls that are perhaps not your favourites.
Many thanks Martin - and yes, I thought the same with the paper dolls :)
Very cool! Love what you made xxx👍🏻😃🤗❤️
Thank you so much Arrabella xo
@@KylieCooStudio your welcome 😃🤗👍🏻💜
I'm just now finding this video and I'm so glad I did! Thank you for sharing this 😊
Thanks so much for this idea! I absolutely love it.
Thanks so much Marcella - so pleased you enjoyed it :)
Love the way this turned out! Interesting way to use your stamps.💕
Thanks so much Sherry :)
great idea and video, thanks Kylie!
Thanks so much Katharina :)
Wonderful Kylie .i love the background x
Thanks so much Anne :) x
What a fun idea, Kylie! I was intrigued to see how you matched the stamps with magazine images as well as the paper dolls - seeing how you selected each match. And then - seeing how the characters seemed to come alive when you placed them just so on the page - with perspective - and then added the shadowing. I was mesmerized. Thanks so much for teaching this fun creative project!
Thanks so much Mary - there are so many possibilities and combinations with a project like this. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Love this! Fun!
Many thanks Kimberly :)
Fun, fun!
Thank you Gina :)
Love this Kylie. Really fun!
Many thanks Eugene - glad you enjoyed it :)
Well done! Love it.
Thanks so much Wilma :)
Potentially treasonous, but hilarious!
The thing is Jane ... a few years ago I actually did some research into whether I could actually incorporate postage stamps into my art - couldn't find anything saying I couldn't - but it's perhaps it's just as well that our HRH didn't match with any of the dolls I had :D
This is beautiful ánd inspiring! Thank you for sharing. 🌷
Thanks so much - glad you enjoyed it :)
I do love the grounding and details added with the inktense pencil. Know that i am thinking of you, 🙏🥰
Oh I love them! So cute! I subscribed and I always watch in full
Thank you so much Cadys Corner - much appreciated :)
Absolutely stunning!😍
Thank you 😊
What a wonderful and fun work of art. TFS
Thanks so much Linda :)
Great idea, thanks Kylie.
Many thanks Debbie :)
Oh I just LOVE these! Thank you for the inspiration x
Thanks so much Tracie :)
Fun idea. Loved the path perspective.
Thanks Ann - I just felt that because one of the images was so much smaller the perspective was just a way of pulling it together. :)
I love it hihihi so funny a stamp on that face...
Thanks Yolanda - it's a fun project :)
So clever! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and stay well.
Thanks so much Joan :)
These have always made me laugh. I love them! This image makes me think of social distancing during COVID; it's all on our minds right now, I guess.
Thanks Dawn - glad you enjoyed it .... the funny thing is I was thinking the exact same thing about the line of people! :)
Kylie this is an awesome piece. I love it! I have wanted to try this for years, but have been a little intimidated. Seeing them used with TH paper dolls makes it so doable! I love the detailing you did with just a black inktense pencil. Genius!!! TFS. I did. God bless and stay safe.
Thanks so much Evelyn - I'm glad this has shown you how doable it is. For me, using the paper dolls was both a way of just using more of them up but also saved me the time of cutting other images out. Thanks again :)
Love them
The background is spot on. Like London smog I thought.
Brilliant fun page
Thanks so much Fenella - and it is a moody background so I see what you mean :)
I love it!!! Inspires me to use some of my stash of postage stamps in a different way! Thank you!
Thanks so much Elizabeth - glad it's given you an idea :)
Love this 😁x
Thanks so much Lynda :)
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️very cool
Thanks so much Donna
So many ideas! Love yours!
Thanks so much - glad you enjoyed it :)
That's a great way to use stamps, Kylie. I've not seen this done before. Thanks for sharing 💗
Thanks so much Steph - I think it could become addictive trying to match things up :)
Loves this , thank you for the inspiration.
Many thanks - I appreciate you watching and commenting :)
Very interesting concept. I remember your lovely gelli print paper which works so well with these figures...
Thanks so much - it was really good having the papers to use for a quick background :)
Hello! This project is GENIUS! You’re amazing and love this tutorial. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much for you kind comment Mardell - much appreciated :)
A really fun project, I do love using stamps in collage, this is an unusual way to use them, the end pictures were so different, lovely😁💖
Thanks so much Elaine - much appreciated :)
💖
Very different
Thanks for watching and commenting Sherry :)
Great tips and tutorial, thank you Kylie!
I'm not sure if I would have thought to match the shoulder line at all. Love it 💕
Thanks so much Susannah - yes matching the shoulder line is what makes it work :)
I just love this Kylie, and I have a million stamps. What fun.
Where do you get your stamps? Every where I look they are so expensive!! I live in USA.
@@brendariddle2349 I’ve gotten them from travels, second hand shops and my mom and mother in law used to save envelopes and stamps.
Thanks so much Dawn - hope you give it a try :)
Hi Brenda - I collected stamps as a child so I have that collection to fall back on and I also keep stamps from any mail that comes in. Although having a ready supply I have also bought some from Etsy sellers here in the UK and I'm fairly certain you would get some from Etsy in the US. I know that they are also available form Amazon and I've also seen them on eBay. Hope that helps. :)
😊👍👍
Thank you :)
Love it! You have such an artful eye. The shading made such a difference but I never would have thought to try that. TFS!
Thanks so much for your kind comment - the shading just helps and it just needed a little bit really. Thanks again :)
So much fun!
Many thanks Maureen - glad you enjoyed it :)
I really like this idea!
Thanks so much Ellie - much appreciated :)
Brilliant!
Thank you so much :)
Wow , so clever , must try this ...thankyou
Thanks Raechel - glad you enjoyed it :)
Ooh I wasn't at all sure about this technique at the start of the video, Kylie but I absolutely love what you have ended up with. It's really clever, attractive and also very interesting. Thanks so much for a really informative video once again.
Thanks so much Edna. I wanted to take a bit of time at the start to show different ways of doing this and I was hoping that wouldn't put people off because it's only when the piece starts to come together that it makes 'sense' - by that I mean that it's possible to see how it fits. Thanks again :)
I am in awe of your creativity, these are excellent and I've never seen stamps with different heads on them, mine are all of the Queen lol. Looking forward to seeing what I can come up with this time. Tfs xo
Thank you so much Elizabeth. Our stamps here tend to be very much the same and although I keep them off envelopes there really isn't a great deal of choice - but older UK stamps or stamps from other countries make this type of project more doable and interesting. Glad you like it :) xo
Very creative!!!
Many thanks Cindy :)
Such a fun idea! Loved watching this to see where you went with it! :D
Thanks so much Hillie - it's one of those projects that almost only makes sense when it's done :)
Hello kylie, this looks great and when we had the close up.....I saw juliana, the former queen of the netherlands, how funny, so greetings from holland, lena
Hello Lena - although this particular stamp is quite worn I thought it was a very beautiful image - I'm glad you like how I used the stamps. Love to Holland from Scotland xo
Clever.
Thank you :)
This is fun!
Thanks so much Missy B :)
Great, thinking animal stamps on people, have some floral. Will check out you tube for ideas. Thanks
Thanks so much and yes it's possible to use different stamps in many ways. Have fun :)
That’s such a fun idea. I love all the shading details you added. I’m going to check out Mail Art on TH-cam. Thank you.
Thanks so much Jackie - glad you like it :)
You are so cool!!
Thanks for your kind comment Tom :)
Very nice finished piece! I hope to do something inspired by your video!💕
Thanks so much Mary - I hope you have fun with this one :)
Amazing... :)
Many thanks Kay :)
🎃
Thank you Shelley :)
I was hoping you would use a Penny Black.
Interesting, I've not seen stamps used like this before. Love how you created the perspective too.
Thanks so much Sarah - it's nice to be able to bring something different that many people hadn't seen before :)
Very mixed media. I love it! Way too much fun! Where will you use them? I love them on the paperdolls!
Thanks so much Cass - glad you enjoyed it. I've just got this sitting in my studio at the moment but it could go on the cover of a journal or could be a page in a journal - but for the timbering I'll just leave it as is :)
What a funny idea😊🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Thank you Bettina :)
Where do you get your stamps?? I would like to find a cheap source as I am on very limited budget.
Hi Brenda - duplicate answer as you also left a comment further below. I collected stamps as a child so I have that collection to fall back on and I also keep stamps from any mail that comes in. Although having a ready supply I have also bought some from Etsy sellers here in the UK and I'm fairly certain you would get some from Etsy in the US. I know that they are also available form Amazon and I've also seen them on eBay. Hope that helps. :)
