  • The Tonto Hermit Loop is fantastic. It avoids the crowds. Once you get off the Bright Angel Trail you have the trail to yourself and can enjoy the incredible scenery of the Tonto Trail. You can feel the immensity of the Grand Canyon and peace of being in such a majestic place. Late fall or early spring is a great time to do this loop while the Hermit Shuttle is still operating. I highly recommend this great route!
I am a channel who hikes. I go to places like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Patagonia, Nepal, Mexico, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Colorado, Washington, Yellowstone. I have traveled to every country I the world.

@@theworldhiker1 I just got a pair of the Techton X and they have to be the best trail runners I have ever had. Just did 16 miles on the Boy Scout trail at Joshua Tree NP. The turned around and hiked it with my wife (both of us in Anacapas)
