  • Rim to Rim to Rim is one of the greatest adventures in America's national parks. On April 6th Miles and I set out for a one day double crossing of the Grand Canyon. It snowed, hailed, rained, and was sunny on our 14 hour adventure that was a day we will never forget!
I am a channel who hikes. I go to places like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Patagonia, Nepal, Mexico, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Colorado, Washington, Yellowstone. I have traveled to every country I the world.
I am also kinda like channels like Drew Binsky,

Any snow or mud conditions in the GC, bring microspikes, they work very well in both conditions and up and down. Helps cut down on all that slipping and sliding. I keep thinking I will outlast the mud and not put them on, invariably I put them on and wish I put them on sooner. You can trail run in them just fine, just buy a high quality pair.

Congrats again Brian, I still remember your perfect time of 5.5 hrs for the rim to rim run. With your inspiration I did a rim to rim last October, of course it took me 14 hours, but what a perfect hike

Epic!!! I’m about to do this hike with my wife next weekend but we’ll be camping 2 nights at Bright Angel Campgrounds. Thanks for sharing your experience Brian!!

Haha crazy timing. I just did it last Monday the 15th of April. It was kind of but not really snowing when we started at around 5am. There wasn't any on the ground until we were almost to the top of the North Rim. We did the same descent as you but came back up Angel. It's a fun adventure! Those steps are super annoying though, lol.
