These are on sale now for 299.00. Great review. I ordered the same one about two days ago. I had a Shark IQ that decided to go mud riding in a pile of dog poop. After I sprayed it off slightly, now it doesn’t work any longer. So it’s being replaced with this same unit as you have. Great review.
@@blairlungaro4962 Amazon had them on sale about 13-14 months ago when my other robot vacuum decided to go mud riding in a huge pile of dog crap I was not aware of.
How often will it self-clean? Can you control/configure when to self-clean? It's annoying if it does it every single day. There's also no need for it (my house is relatively small), I would prefer every two or three days. On another bot I had, it was possible to set it.
Just bought a used one for 200 and it looks brand new! Seems to work great, but I have looked everywhere on the app and there is no do not disturb setting anywhere 😭😭 in fact the only thing you can set, is push notifications... wth am I missing here??
I just got one and before starting this video, I wondered how it would manage the hallway in my house. Then the video starts and the very first thing you mention is the hallway. I was about floored. lol. No pun intended. I just got it and will set it up tonight to put it through its paces. Thanks for the video.
I know it charges itself but is there an ion battery that would need to be replaced every year or so? Mine is on the dock but won’t seem to charge anymore
My shark keeps saying that the dust bin is not installed and to please install it correctly. Can you explain what to do because I can’t figure it out. 😕
I have the same one, my charging light bolt is blinking. Does that mean it is charging ok? I just unpacked it and it is at 40% and says I need to charge ot before it does the exploration mode. It was been at 40% for over an hour. Please help.
Does this model AV2511AE have the Shark CleanEdge technology that is supposed to blast air at edges and corners? The Amazon listing is confusing, showing one picture of CleanEdge technology, but not any other mention of it. I’m trying to get a model that has the CleanEdge technology and both two side brushes. A lot of Shark’s CleanEdge vacuums only have one side brush built in, which people have complained they wish they had two. :-/
@kamicj3522 Will you explain why it will not work on 5G? I'm going to replace my wi-fi router. I want to make sure I get the right one that will work with the this model. Thanks
@@SoddyMcWombat Thanks. I read that in another review after seeing yours. Ended up with an ihome Nova with self empty for about 200. It CAN schedule specific rooms which fits my needs well - I have it cleaning the entryway and main areas MWF to keep up with the dog hair, then bedrooms TuTh. It's not bagless but bags are fairly cheap on Amazon and eBay, and the bundles come with extra brushes and filters which I'll need anyway.
Shark vacuums are junk. I have the exact model in this video. Mine broke in 3 months and they refuse to honor the warranty because I unscrewed a single screw that held on a side brush. They said that voided the warranty.
I purchased this exact model 2 months ago and used it once. On the second use it start malfunctioning (wouldn't dock, wouldn't map, lots of errors msgs, etc). I removed it, deleted/reinstalled the app, deleted the cashe and installed on another phone, nothing worked. I contacted Shark, troubleshooted with a young lady, she video connected to me, she couldn't figure it out, she open a ticket, a guy called me the next morning, he video connected also and after 30 min with him, he said it's a hardware issue, I'm opening a ticket to send you another unit. BUT, I have to remove these parts, Dustbin, filters, Side brushes, Brushroll, Brushroll door and the Battery from the old one and put them on the new one. I thought I was going to have extra parts for the future NOT. This is our first vaccum robot, a bit disappointed, but I realize stuff happens. So now I'm waiting - it could be 7 days or 3 weeks, it depend on if they have one in stock, sigh!

I have no problem with people objecting but at least state a reason and an alternative product. @imelliam

What would you say are the major differences between this AI and the newer Matrix self emptying (no mop)?
Does this one have the hepa filter?

Yes my battery has lasted almost a2 years. They are about $40 and very easy to change

So if the base is upstairs, can you pick it up and take it downstairs to vacume without the base being downstairs?
yes

Looking to get this robot (or something similar in the Shark brand) have there be any improvement on the Android phone app?

The clean edge is for there newer one that has a mop attached to it. this one does not have that. th-cam.com/video/1UCRS9gvH1I/w-d-xo.html
Thinking about getting this one from Walmart how is it on battery life the I tried the matrix but didn't like the filter design
I just got this and cannot hook up to my Wi-Fi so sad don’t know why can ya help me please 😇

Is this supports 220v input?
Can this be programmed to clean specific rooms on certain days? For example - clean kitchen every day but only clean bedrooms once a week.
If you have it on a schedule it cleans the whole house. If you only want it to clean certain rooms you have to do it manually through the app.
