This is the robot vacuum that started my journey. Started with this and then moved to the Roomba J9 plus and then moved to the dreamy L20 ultra then x30 ultra. The shark can’t compete with any of those.
The manual says an object has to be 3.5 inches high for the LIDAR beam to see it and then avoid it. If the object on the floor is lower than 3.5 inches, then the vacuum will try to roll over it.
I have the Shark AI for 4 month but now it doesn't want to explorer my house anymore. I tried a factory reset, but no luck. Shark want me to send the unit back, but I moved outside the US and there is no Shark service in the country i leave now. Just good to trash :-(
@@JustADad what vacuum would you recommend if you wanted to use it for multi story household. Of course I would be willing to carry it up and down the steps.
I just purchased this Shark to replace our old one but I ran in to a big issue with the AI Ultra. It will not fit under our couches and end tables like our old Shark did. Do you know of anyway to make it sit lower or to remove the thing on top?

No

yeah that laser navigation on top is really needed on these robots. the Roomba J7+ renewed on AMazon is a great low profile vacuum with great suction.
@JustADad I was looking at the Laresar L6 Pro. According to Amazon it is under 4 inches in height
