Well done! I had a '74 127 903 pushrod engined FIAT in the mid '80s, economical simple car, great engine, handled well, stopped well, comfortable, and would drive on the motorway almost flat out all day(well almost).Swapped it p/x for a motorcycle, Triumph 500 twin ).
Nice starting, my compliments from Italy !!! In 2018:i was in Finland , ad over there i have seen some 127 still running, and also a more rare Fiat 850 model !
Congratulations, you managed a very tricky rescue! It is probably too much to consider a restoration but, perhaps the engine will made happy another 127 owner.
Interestingly, a popular upgrade for the Reliant 3 wheelers is a Fiat FIRE engine which sits in extremely well and gives the Reliant a lot more power, use them in racing Reliants.
this doesn't have a Fire engine. It is the latest iteration of the Fiat 100 engine that first was used in Fiat 600 (633 cc then, this is upgraded up to 903cc and there was also the 1050cc)
Yeeh yeeh sucess 41 years of age get running again on the road , just fix the left driver door , front booth , and some touch-up paint ... , it will look good again , dont forget put your rally chamber exhaust it will sound better , good car for driving to the market ! Good job , regards from dannok city n kuala lumpur ..!
Here in Brazil, this car is called "the 147". It was manufactured with 1050 and 1300 CC petrol and alcohol engines. With 4-speed and 5-speed gearboxes. And hatchback, sedan, pickup, station wagon, van bodies. This car is in Poland?
I agree, its just that the Zastava or Yugo range was the butt of all jokes where I come from. I owned both a Fiat 127 and a Yugo 45. The Fiat was a great little car but the Yugo was quickly christened a NoGo after it broke down less than a mile from the showroom! They took it back after a month much to my relief and I bought another Fiat!
What a wonderful care I'm adore ❤️ fiat 127 ... I have a one model 1987

that engine was built up until 2002! Fiat seicento 0.9 and Fiat uno 0.9 assembled in Poland were fitted with them and there are still a few surviving.
Great to hear the 127 back into life

I love the sound of old Fiat starter motors and the old OHV and FIRE engines are bullet proof.
I agree with you! I love the sound of those old motors when they are cranking!
OHV weren't really bulletproof, if something in the distribution failed, you'd bend the valves immediately and the engine would be trashed.
I bet that rarely happens and you don't have a timing belt to worry about either.
@@angriffstank2410you can remove chain and rotate engine nothing will happen, valves are to high to contact pistons

The fiat engine is transverse, the reliant engine is straight so it wouldn't fit in a million years. Unless you are a mechanic of absolute genius
@@SOLARSHED13 you have to use Fiat engine, with Reliant Transmisión. Ussing a adapter Plate.
Wonderful! I hope it will be restored .
Che meraviglia Number One mi sono emozionato bravo complimenti
I have the cousin of this car, the fiat 147, such a loyal car, never left me stranded, love it

IMMORTAL FIAT 127 !!!
Bravissimo
Ver carros antigos voltar a funcionar é muito bom.
Aqui no Brasil não chegou o 127 mas sim o 147 em 1980
1976 e nao 11980
Man tava vendo que esses 127 ainda eram bem mais modernos e mais fortes que os nossos 147.
147 foi lançado em 1976! Cê tá bem perdido....
