Back over at Delray JYD site the craftsman Chris is completing the build of the entire wiring harness for their 359 rebuild. Really looks super pro to me and the work actually upgrades the factory supplied harness. He is offering to build a 359 harness and associated fuse box / relays for anyone who is doing a 359. Suggest you contact them and have your wiring work done by Chris. You are months away from actually needing this but now is the time to act and get it done while there is an opportunity. I expect he will be getting busy!
maybe the belly band came in the later models after the 359 because of the increased horse power and torque in the engines that were beginning to become available?
a rebuild on a 1984 Peterbilt 359 is happening at Delray 359 and in this current episode they are rewiring the entire truck. Making fresh wire looms looks like a good idea. Relays instead of breakers and so on. Here is the clip. th-cam.com/video/WO0KLEGSjds/w-d-xo.html
