I found your channel years ago while researching Tulster holsters. I live about 3 miles from where Tulster makes their holsters. I own 4 and my son has one for his p365. They are great holsters and I can attest to every word in your video (paid promotion aside). Like you said, I like the attention to detail about no excess material. Slim, sleek, comfortable and classy looking all at the same time! My daily carry is the blue carbon fiber, my son's is the red carbon fiber. They both look stunning! Tulster is my go to holster. Great video!
I picked up a vedder lite tuck for my 43x and I'll never use anything else. The ability to tuck my shirt in around the holster is essential to me as I wear business casual and I'm always tucked in. Very comfortable, very concealable
Agreed. I’ve got 3 holster from Vedder, two iwb and one strong side. They are consistent, great wide tuckable metal clip (mounted in the correct spot), a minimal claw, no extra material where it’s not needed, and a nice tactile click when holstering.
I bought four before I found one that was perfect for me. I think it’s all about what fits you! I don’t think there’s a best for everyone answer. I will say, don’t cheap out. There’s a reason the prices are higher, quality matters.
Some of my best holsters are cheap one's... and some of my worst were expensive (around $80). Never paid more than that though. Always thought it was crazy that people will way $100 or even close to $200 for a holster. I've had some good one's for around $25 (plus $5 for a few I upgraded the clips on). Got two expensive holsters for around $85.00 and they didn't even fit right. One was a KnightFall Custom and has like 3/16 of vertical slop, because the molding is not even close to the actual shape of the trigger guard. After those two though, I just went back to buying cheaper one's by what I can see and have had some pretty good luck. I think the only one I wasn't happy with was the "Slim-Tuk", but that's just because it don't have a wing. Otherwise it's a good holster and most people that own them are very happy with them.
I bought one for my 10mm Glock G29. Perfect fit. Works fabulous. Tulster doesn't make one for the Taurus G3c yet but my G29 holster works for it just a little long in spots.
Purchased one for my g43 years ago with your recommendation and it has been amazing. Quality , minimalistic, adjustable. Great product. Have one on the way for my bodyguard 2.0
I bought a blackhawk stache for my glock 43x. I like how i can have the clip really high up. My gun sits lower and doesn't press into my gut as much. Also, the smooth edges make it comfortable. It has some slop in the retention, but it doesn't fall out, and the trigger is still coveed the whole time. It was cheap too
I use Alien Gear cloak tuck and shapeshift holsters on all my EDC's in my rotation and I haven't experienced any problems with them. Super comfortable, very concealable even with my full size handgun, they don't move around, no poking, and very quick and easy to draw. It's been purely a great experience with them so far.
Great company! I own 4 now, one of which broke after 7yrs of daily use in my Shield. One email later and in 2 days I had a new replacement under warranty. I just got a new HK last week and a profile is first on the list of accessories.
Please make a light bearing optic ready full kydex holster for retention and a leather backing (that doesn't flap over) for comfort. Please make it for the P365 series of pistols with the Icarus aluminum frames. lol.
@@Pappy7064 Not sure if I can promise Leather on my holsters. Requires more equipment and takes more time to make. There's very good companies out there who do amazing work with Leather. I'll take a look around. If there's a gap in the industry, I'll consider it. Retention is one of my mine focus. Vast majority of holsters have terrible retention. I'm way ahead of on the aluminum frames from Icarus Precision and Mischief Machine. If you have any ideas what industry is overlooking and not doing, feel free to let me know.
Same here. I spent a small fortune to get there, unfortunately. Tulsters. Crossbreed, Vedder, Alien Gear, and others. Once I discovered Muddy River Tactical, the search was over. Lol
The Tulster holster works good for my M&P Shield button The Oath holstered screwed up my Springfield Hellcat Slide. right now I use Vedder holsters only.
Yeah, it looks like a regular holster to me. I can't say I have anything bad to say about them. They're good holsters and are popular for a reason... but they're about twice the cost of other nearly identical holsters. There really isn't very much special about them.
Let the guy earn money how he wants. You want to hear some guy in his garage talking to his iPhone, go find them and subscribe. Jeez! You guys are haters!
I don’t know about that, but I discovered Tulster just searching through the absolute shit ton of kydex holsters out there. Thought they looked good and got quick responses from the company. I have since bought 4 OTH holsters and one Range+. The only reason I don’t have one for M&P 2.0 10mm 4.6” is because they don’t make one. Which is why I’ve taken MONTHS to decide on another (still haven’t bit have narrowed it down)
Tulster Oath is what I use and it has been great for years. I have not tried the new profile, and stopped using the old Profile holster when I got an optic. But I did really like pre-optic.
Tulster does make a quality holster. The only real complaint I have is where the tuckable clip mounts. Single clip holsters should never mount under the trigger guard, always along the slide or in front of the slide. They change the mounting point for those clips and it would be great.
I've tried dozens of holsters. The best I've found is from Harry's Holsters. The Infiltrator and the Shorty V2. The problem with that Tulster is there's nothing to push the grip back into the body. It's probably fine for 3 o'clock, but horrible for appendix carry. The Infiltrator and Shorty have a built-in concealment wing, every edge is perfectly rounded, and there's a lot of height and cant adjustment.
My go to holster has been by Black Point Tactical. I have a whole box of holsters that I’ve tried and didn’t like. BPT is the only holster that I will use now for all of my guns. They make exactly what I want with optics, lights or without. I have to wait a long time to get them, but they are worth the wait.
Love the profile Holster. I need one for my Sig X Macro with a TLR-7. I have an oath, but not a fan of the wing or the clip. I prefer the mono block DCC clip. Maybe you can influence them to either fix the oath clip, or make the profile for a TLR-7 with an optic.
I carry a 19x in a Profile + it is the best holster I have ever owned. It is minimalist smooth comfortable, good retention and the monobloc clips inspire confidence. I love it and my Glock disappears at 3:30.
I purchased the OG profile holster by Tulster after watching your videos a few years ago. I haven't looked back since. I can't say if it's the best holster on the market because i pretty much use Tulster for everything and haven't tried anything else. My carry pistols are the M&P 9 Shield Plus OR and the M&P 9 Shield Plus performance center, and I switched to the OATH for dot sight. I recently purchased the Profile+ and I'm loving it! And YES i have a bit of a gut to contend with.
Glock 19 generation three with an NSR tactical holster problem solved if you go with that combination You will find that your sear is over. Belt clips suck for holsters go with something that has loops like NSR tactical holsters.
Most customers I've ever talked to are very happy with their Vedder holsters. I'm not the biggest fan though. I think they're excellent holsters... but at the same time I've also had $25-$30 holsters that were equal in quality and effectiveness/comfort, etc...
I am still searching: I am very plump, and I just can't find anything that I can carry comfortably nowadays with jeans and t-shirts. (I prefer them tucked, but I can wear them out) When I had to wear a suit, I had a perfect one for the small of the back, but I can't do that now. I have tried belly bands (3 different.) different kydex ones (one like you show here, another with a claw) and even thunder wear.
I have tried about a dozen different brands & styles (inc. hybrids). Tulster is hands down the best all kydex holster on the market. I have a T1C, which was my most expensive one, & it is the least comfortable IWB I've worn.
Nothing beats a nice IWB light bearing, optic ready full kydex holster with leather backing attached to it. You get the retention of the kydex and the comfort of the smooth leather against your skin. I've had a Pro Teq Custom Gear holster for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. The quality is amazing and it has molded to my side so the comfort can't be beat. As a bonus the cut at the top is just the right height and stiffness so that it doesn't flop over and block the top of the holster.
Here is a problem I have ini general. First I'm left-handed. Second, if you conceal carry, I can not believe that the only time you will need your handgun is when it's bright and well-lit and no need for a light. I can see an individual who carries mostly full-time, that may be the environment that you live in. For the holster industry to basically blow off 20% of their customers because they are left-handed and all those that are using the firearm for self-defense because we always make reservations for threats and breaking to occur in the bright of the day.
Your timing couldn't be better. I have the Canik Mete MC9 and the holster it came with is less than impressive - nothing near what that pistol deserves. Thanks for the recommendation!
Would've loved to just hear why YOU carry this... but this title made me wanna laugh at you. What you're telling me is you haven't tried anything released on the market in the last 9 years? If so... what have you tried? That injection molded clip was trash.... PERIOD. Run a QVO Tactical or Insane Kydex Creations holster and you'll probably never run another Tulster. That's not a knock on Tulster but you put a target on their back with the ridiculous title.
I concur on QVO tactical. I’ve had both them and Tulster. QVO has them beat on variety of colors hands down. Comfortability is about the same imo tho. Nothing beats a nice quality leather holster. That’s just hard to beat imo. I got me one on the way from Wright Leather Company for my G30S. I can’t wait for it to get here.

Not many companies have their own specialized clip…..That molded clip is pretty trash though I hate it no matter who makes it most definitely especially if you not wearing pants with belt plastic clips suck in general
QVO looks just as overprices as the Tulster holsters. Nearly identical to every $25 holster out there, but they charge 3x more. I've never spent like $70+ on a holster and not been let down, especially when I have excellent holsters from the $20 to $30 range that are equal in quality and effectiveness.
