I mean, yea there are some misplays but that's to be expected when you're running through the game in less than 7 minutes. Worst one I saw was using doublecast after hyper beams at 4:30, the extra damage would've killed the enemy one turn sooner causing you to shave even further time off this speedrun, good job nonetheless.
Also on the act 2 boss he used Panache at the end of his first turn instead of the using it first. The boss ends up at 3 hp on the second-to-last turn. So if he used Panache first he could've killed it one turn faster.
That was actually kinda absurd. I only barely beat the game with defect with a LOT of help and advice from a friend, I could NEVER do something like this, especially not on DEFECT! Wow.
I am late to the party, I know... but as far as I know, there were no glitches or shenanigans used in this run... right? This was a legitimate speed run, with some good RNG (basically Necronomicon in a hyperbeam deck) but amazingly well played - or did I miss anything?
I feel like it's realy realistic way Defect would've gone through spire: just raying everything in sight with death beam

it looks like they used a glitch to skip getting the necronomicon curse, but other than that i think there weren't other glitches used
