Welcome to channel if you're new here, I'm Orbital Potato and play a bunch of strategy, simulation and sci-fi games here on TH-cam. I usually cover these games in the Lets Play format, but also make videos analysing specific game mechanics and looking at new releases. Don't build storage on the oppesite side of the road, you don't want to stop traffic all the time. Build roads so the traffic flows in from one side only, as again you build the roads so they need to cross the traffic all the time. Set up the city with extra room between them, so you have house-road-power-blank-power-road-house, as you might need the extra space in the middle for a highway system later on.
Also you would surely want to put the concrete factories and storage between the sand mines and sulphur mines to minimise traffic.
The word "urban" has no relationship with Earth, so yes, it's still urban design if it's off-world. :)

What? You get congestion on belts. You get congestion in pipes. They have specific flow rates for a reason.

I managed to see half of it. You usually have good videos, but this one is "potatoed". Usually a little research is done or an attempt is made to play off-camera. Power poles...either start from the windmill or click on an existing pole to connect them. Road height, R and F keys....it says next to it, Industrial Chains....if you place a concrete plant near a sand and sulfur mine you will get a production bonus, the same goes for blue science..place an atmosphere generator near the science factory, and the factory of science put it near the crude oil pump.... 10% bonus per nearby building. put warehouses near concrete plants and/or steel plants... only those resources go inside.
