Ive always said this: MJ changed the paradigm for winning and how we view winning as a society. Whoever is the best in their field is called the "Michael Jordan of....". This was his THIRD finals loss and this one came in back to back years with 2 different franchises. A badly missed opportunity. Could you imagine had he won with the Heat in 2014 then came back and won AGAIN with Cleveland in 2015??

I think 98 was the closest thing to that for him. Didn't have Pippen most of the year and then Pippen was hindered by a bad back all Finals. Still won in 6.
      Despite.
Also Bulls collectively were the oldest team in the league at the time.
What's your point? You wanna scratch the 2015 Finals loss off LeBron record?
Go ahead. I sympathize with what happened to Kyrie and Kevin Love that first go round with his return to Cleveland. I'll ignore the fact that he was already a 2 time Champion facing some unproven guys who hadn't won anything yet and should still have had a mental edge especially with him being you know ..."LeBron James". (And up 2-1)
You can scratch that one off.
So now there's only 5 finals losses. Do you also do the same for the Warriors the following year, when they lost Bogut and had Draymond stolen from them for Game 6. (You know the one that LeBron said made him "The Goat")

Great overall segment and review. Now it is time to finally discuss the overarching problem. Who’s bright idea was it to compare anyone to MJ in this daffy era?? Then Lebron Dumb Dumb had the nerve and audacity to state openly that he was the greatest basketball player. Opening Michael Jordan’s Pandora’s Box, revealing him to tens of thousands of youngsters in this era who went on TH-cam or other media vehicles to see what MJ was all about only to become awe-inspired that anyone could play ball like this has made MJ even greater and unreachable because Mj was minding his own business in formal retirement for over 21 plus years. This is the main reason why there was never a GOAT Debate it didn’t exist, this has been an exercise in hyperbole and delusion.

    Kobe Bean Bryant
    - Beat the most 50+ win teams in NBA history
    - Second most points scored in a single game NBA history, First most in the modern era.
    - Oldest player to score 60+
    - 3rd most consecutive 50+ point games in NBA history
    - 2nd most All-NBA First Team honors won (tied with Malone)
    - Most All-NBA Team honors won by a guard
    - Most All-NBA First Team honors won by a guard
    - 2nd most All-Defensive Team honors won
    - Most All-Defensive First Team honors won (tied with Mike, GP, KG)
    - Only player in NBA history to score at least 600 points in the postseason for three consecutive years
    - Oldest player to record back-to-back games of 40+ points and 10+ assists
    - Carried Olympic team to a gold medal
    - 5x NBA Champion on a three-peat
    - Dragged a squad with no other superstar/top 75 to repeat
    - 2x Finals MVP
    - 1x MVP
    - 2x Scoring Champ
    - 9x All-Defense First
    - 3x All-NBA Second
    - 18x NBA All Star
Kobe is also 1 of only 6 players to win back-to-back Finals MVP (2peat). Kobe did this in one of the most competitive conference in history.
He was also the 1A/1B option on the most recent 3peat team (only five 3peats in NBA history).
4th in scoring all time, #16 in steals, #33 in assists, #115 in rebounds.
Lead the 2000's with the most points scored in the decade and the highest scoring average of the decade.
    Made 7 finals, won 5.
He also had 10 50 point games in the 2006-2007 season alone. He also scored 60-50-65-50 in consecutive games. In 2003 he scored 40+ in 9 straight games. Outscored the Dallas Mavericks 62-61 by himself after 3 quarters, sat the 4th; he was easily on his way to 80 that game. Didn't matter, he hit 80 soon after. He did all that and scored 35.1ppg on a team that only averaged 96ppg a game as a team and he did so in the slowest paced era and lowest scoring era in league history.
Kobe eliminated a record 24 50 win teams (vs Lebrons ~11, which is less than half.)
From 2008-2010, Kobe actually faced a 50 win team in all but 1 of the series’ he played in, with a record of 10-1.
Furthermore, he famously played through injuries to his own detriment which meant many of his scoring feats were done while injured. He won an NBA title and won FMVP with a broken finger taped to the opposing finger on his shooting hand. He also took on the opposing teams best player as often as he could on defense which is probably why many people think he wasn't as good defensively as he actually was.
Simply the greatest difficult shot taker and maker in NBA history which makes the fact that virtually every year of his prime he shot above league average even more remarkable.
He would have rewritten the modern scoring record books if he had the freedom on offense current players enjoy.

8or9 years with out losing more than 3 games in a row is incredible M.V.P SCORING TITLES while still winning isn't even standard for possible realistically thinking stealing title 3000 points in a season will never be broken their is to many unreasonable things Michael Jeffery Jordan created to consider reaching his goals of over taking historical ruling in his life achieving the discipline motivation willpower is not easy to overcome period!

I actually have Magic before Kareem, i'm not really sure Kareem gets those 5 rings without Magic. I need someone to argue the merits of Kareem over Magic...well not argue but point out.

Mad respect for Avery loved him as a player and as a coach but I am 56 and seen both …Lebron’s impact is what makes him the goat to me …he gave them all the blueprint to have generational wealth Mike helped no one but himself sorry!
