I wonder how many people would prefer seeing this video vs hearing a podcast vs reading about it or doing a DIY project in the topic? 😂😂😂
It's not just the input method but the levels of interest, curiosity, ambition and time and effort. How much you already know about the topic is another factor that determines how well you can process the incoming info and form/update an internal model of the topic.

It's basically a method of procedural sequential storage and retrieval. It's best for how-to type information.
Knowledge often is an associative network formation which can link disparate things into an efficient retrieval system.

Ya gonna have to push back against the general bit about "different learning styles" because it's going to be a thing. Someone who prefers something style over another is better with one style over the other by default. So to say they aren't is just illogical. People go with what they are best at (within the context of the things they know about) for the most part and so then they have a different style compared to another. Everyone stores things visually so to skip the task of converting text into visuals and starting off with the visuals is more efficient/effective.

So… preference vs actually being good at something? That seems like a relatively loaded statement. Someone can be a natural at a certain topic sure, but to say that just because you have a preference for something doesn’t necessarily mean you’re good at it while also trying to promote better ways to understand the learning process just seems a little backward to me. I was never good at math and science when I was younger, but through practice and hard work I’ve become fairly proficient. Similarly, the host of this podcast may not be good at hockey, or relationships, however, through practice and hard work he may find himself quite the talented player in both aspects. Just rambling good for thought.
